Stopped here to refuel / quick restroom break. Very clean restrooms and well kept overall. Small Michoacána inside. Got lemon, watermelon & strawberry ice cream bars. Extremely fresh and yummy! Will definitely be making a stop here whenever I pass by!!

    Great Gas Prices

Visited 3/9/2020 The casino here is nice not real big but very friendly. But the real draw here is the Best priced gasoline anywhere near here. I stopped there frequently on my way to Palm Springs or Indio or on my way to the 10 freeway. Easy on and off the freeway. Also a nice convenient store. I haven't tried the restaurant yet but one day I will.

Here is a pic of a pizza I got yesterday at red earth I never open the box until I got home what a disappointment

    The cheapest prices on fuel
    Mina H.

This review is only for the gas station and convenient store. The gas here is about .20 cents cheaper per gallon than gas stations around the area, we paid 3.09 per gallon, same price if paying cash or with credit card, it gets busy and there is only 2 pumps per line, but everybody moves quick to make room for the next customer. The casino has an ample parking lot, it can accommodate large vehicles and RVs. As a courtesy service to clean the windshield a squeegee, water and paper towels are provided. The bathrooms are clean and the snacks are plentiful.

    Waffle Sandwich!

Honest to god truth....I went this morning to meet my mom to have breakfast...I know a good breakfast & was pleasantly surprised at the menu selection... I got the vegetarian Omelette ... tastiest damn Omelette I have had in a while....so my only thing is I am used to country style potatoes sliced a bit bigger and not diced but the flavor was still there by all means.... My nephew got a kids meal burger & fries & to be honest it looked like an adult portion...they don't play tight with their food and it was well worth every penny... My mom ordered the bacon eggs hash browns...and she said it was so tasty as well! My step daughter got the waffle sandwich and well I will post a picture of it in a bit....let's just say there were no leftovers....hahahh! We even ordered an extra side of fries...soooo good! If you want a bite if you are gambling or a quick bite if you are just passing through....I am co-signing for this place ;)

Red Grill Restaurant Footlong Hot Dog!
    Omar R.

This review is for their Red Grill restaurant located on Red Earth Casino. The service is great! We walked in and was welcomed right away. Our wait time was about 10 minutes for our food to be ready. Being our first time here, I ended up ordering their footlong hot dog and a quarter burger for my girlfriend. The hot dog was decent. It comes with grilled onions, mushrooms, melted mozzarella cheese and red onions on rosetta bread? It also come with fries on the side. The quarter burger gets a 3 out of 5 rating. What were really good were the fries! Overall, their service is awesome and their food is decent just to satisfy your hunger!

Our server, Arcy (please forgive me if I spelled your name wrong!) is always lovely and just a delight to be around. She is very knowledgeable and is very helpful with any questions we have. As far as the restaurant itself, it's very in touch with the mountain, cabin vibe. It's very comforting and a nice change from your average diner. It's safe to say that my family and I will come back as we've done the years before on our trips to Idyllwild.

My girlfriend was craving a fat, juicy, pink in the middle burger and the winner of the selection…read moretonight was The Lumber Mill. It was their unique burgers that caught our eye so we decided to come in and see what's good. The first thing I noticed is that their prices seem a bit pricey for a burger and fries but all the prices here in Idyllwild are elevated so these prices are in alignment with other restaurants. And for me as the prices get higher so does my scrutiny of the food and overall experience. My reason for 3 stars instead of 4 is price vs amount of food you get - and the fact that they charge $5 for a Dr. Pepper. That's a bit obscene in my books, so 3 stars. Now the details... I was gonna get a pastrami burger ($20.99) until I noticed the Bacon Lovers ($19.99) and I'm a huge bacon lover and this is the first time I've ever seen a bacon lovers burger so I had to go with it. It is a juicy beef patty stuffed with bacon bits & topped with American cheese, more bacon and 1000 island dressing served on a brioche bun. They cooked it to a perfect med rare and it was really good. It comes with your choice of side (fries, coleslaw, potato salad, baked beans or garlic mashed potato's. You can upgrade to fried pickes, zucchini, sweet potato fries, onion rings or corn nuggets for $2.50 and our waitress was raving about the beer battered onion rings so I chose those. The burger was great and so were the onion rings, however as you can see from the picture, there were not many onion rings AT ALL. I don't mind a $2.50 upgrade charge but give me some onion rings PLEASE!! Not happy about the quantity fr that upcharge! My girlfriend got the Wild Western burger ($20.99) which is a juicy beef patty topped with bacon, cheddar cheese, BBQ sauce & onion rings. She didn't really like it much. She also upgraded to fried zucchini and she didn't much care for those either. It seems like there are good things here and some not great things here. If there is something ypu want to try here, I would go through the reviews and see what people are saying about it. Again, I feel like I got taken advantage of with that up charge on the 6 onion rings they gave me, but they did deliver on how good they are. I would recommend doing your research before ordering here.

Located on the corner of Highway 86 and S Marina Drive, this travel plaza seems to provide everything that a traveler might need -- fuel and diesel Chevron), tons of food choices and ample dining tables (Pizza Hut, Subway, Cinnabon, Taco Bell, Kentucky Fried Chicken, Yogurtland, Jack in the Box, The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf, Imperial County, and Salton 350 Bar), clean restrooms, a general store with travel necessities, and more. What was particularly interesting about this travel stop was seeing the local culture of the large number of ATVers. Virtually every second truck had an off-highway vehicle (OHV) in its bed or on its trailer. Not being local, we're not sure where they were going to ride, but we speculated that a significant number were headed to the Imperial Sand Dunes. These dunes, in southeastern California, stretch over 40 miles long and average 5 miles wide, and are a popular recreation site. While the travel plaza was easy to access, and had everything that you might need, we've rated it as a 4 rather than 5 because of the chaos of the plaza. All of the gas bays were occupied, with all sorts of vehicles vying for a place -- from motorcycles to OHVs to cars to tanker trucks to 18-wheeler. We chose to park "next door" because of the chaos in front of the travel plaza. It also made it easier to re-enter the highway.
