However this visit was very different! I got the A13 pan fried rice cake which was SO GOOD! It's a turnip cake (usually get this at dim sum places) turned into egg omelette. Very unique dish that you don't usually find at Pho restaurants. I also got the Pho with tendon and fatty brisket. The tendon was chewy/rubbery/inedible, so definitely won't get that again. But the brisket was tender (not very fatty at all). The accoutrements were fresh and plentiful. I had a really sweet and fast server. The decor inside is pretty worn out (alot of booths had holes in the seats, the fish tank was empty, etc), but I would return for the A13 and pho!

Of course I had to get my favorite pho but we all tried the butter quail, prawns, tofu, and coconut salad. All were so delicious and fresh, but my favorite was the butter quail. With the fish sauce mixed, along with the bowl, it turned out to be a fantastic meal! Loan recommended we visit Q-Cup Boba Tea and it was totally worth visit! The service was a little mixed though. We had one server who was really on top of things, but then another came over right after trying to take our order too, which got a bit confusing. If you've been around for a while, you probably remember this spot as the old 90s/2000s lunch place. I was hoping they'd update the inside a bit, maybe rearrange or remodel, but it pretty much looks the same, just with a different cuisine now. One downside was cleanliness. The floors and bathroom could definitely use more attention.
