This was my second time here and I really thought the food was better last time. [[HIGHLIGHT]]So the reasons for the bad review started with the entrance... there was trash everywhere outside! Not just one or two items, but it looked like someone emptied a trash bag in their parking lot.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The service was subpar. The guy kept saying he was new and was really nice, but didn't know the menu very well. The food was disappointing as well... I got the pho with tendon and brisket and I opted to pay an extra $1 for the fresh noodles, but totally not worth it. The brisket was chewy and some of the tendon was inedible (had to pay $2 extra ) . The broth had a chemical taste to it like they didn't rinse their pots thoroughly enough. The one good thing I can say about the place is that they offer a plethora of Asian noodle dishes from Vietnamese to Filipino to Thai to Chinese. If I ever do go back, I'll definitely try something different.

Absolutely delicious food and amazing service! Belle was amazing! She was so sweet, made sure we were taken care of and always had water which is important to us! Will be back soon and have already told friends and family about it!

    * Price: $15 bowel of pho or ramen, good size to share. A bit high for Jacksonville area. * [[HIGHLIGHT]]Ambiance: casual, clean and spacious restaurant. Modern decor[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] * Location: easy to find. Free parking. Near Asian market where they have night market on weekends. * Meals: mixed review from my family. * Service: friendly. We came here for family dinner while visiting my parents since my parents only like Vietnamese food... We found this place on google and seems to have good rating. The menu is pan-asian and extensive from bun bo hue, pho, ramen to pad thai. We ordered Bao, bún bò Huế, phở, calamari, bo luc lac (sizzling beef) and dry noodle. Bao ($8 for 2 bun bao): we have tofu bun. They are pretty good with fried tofu, cilantro lime, hot sauce. Calamari ($11): deep fried calamari with red peppers and onion. Calamari cooked perfectly, tender and crispy. Pho ($16): we had phở đặc biệt or every meat options (tripe, tendon, ribeye, brisket etc.) The both is decent but my parents think it is lacking some flavor. Bún bò Huế ( $16) or spicy beef noodles. Good flavor of lemon grass served with round thick noodle. I enjoy it but my sister thinks it's too salty! Dry noodle or hủ tiêu không ($17): central vietnamese dish. Flat noodles with shrimp, quail egg, liver served with broth on the side. My nephew finished the whole before i cam snag a photo... so it is good! Sizzling beef ($19) served with rice. For anyone who does not want to try new dish, this is a safe choice. Beef is wellcooked and good flavor. The portion is also generous. Pad thai ($15) is probably our least favorite. Yellow noodle cooked with some sauce which tastes almost like chowmein! Overall, for Jacksonville area, this restaurant is pretty good option for Asian cuisine. The menu is very diversed and covering many different Asian dishes. It is a good addition to the local food scene.

This place is good! Service was good, food was good too. It has a mix selection from Vietnamese, Filipino, Japanese, Thai, Korean food. We ordered appetizers- fresh spring roll and fried calamari. Main entree were red curry udon, Thai red curry with rice, pho noodle #2 with ribeye, beef bolgogi ramen, and kids pho. The flavors are good. Soo many selection that I know I will come back to try more dishes.

My parents were in town and they were craving pho. We decided to try out this place since we were in the area. Usually my mom would cook for me if I'm missing her Vietnamese home cooking but I decided to treat my parents out. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Upon walking in, the restaurant is clean, cozy, and I love the atmosphere. Plenty of seating space and we were greeted and seated right away.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our waitress was super friendly and we enjoyed her company. She was kind, patient, super sweet, and made sure we were taken care of. I would love to have her as our waitress again! We ordered the following: Vietnamese iced coffee (cafe sua da): 6.5/10 - the flavor was good but I wished they would do the method where they give you a glass of ice and the glass with actual French press drip coffee. Most restaurants that I go to that serve Vietnamese iced coffee, will give you two glasses: one with the coffee inside the French press, dripping over the condensed milk, and a glass of ice (to pour your coffee over once it's done dripping). Their iced coffee was served in a plastic cup with a straw so it didn't feel as authentic. It was lacking that pow! In your face robust flavor of the chicory. My parents had the pho dac biet (pho with different combinations of meats like meat balls, tripe, sliced ribeye, tendon, etc) - my dad enjoyed his pho but my mom didn't like it as much. All the pho bowls came with a plate of mixed greens (cilantro, slices of jalapeños, bean sprouts, culantro, and lime). The plate of greens looked pretty scarce and a bit sad but the peppers were hot (we love spicy peppers). I tasted a little bit of my mom's broth and agreed that the broth was missing something. The flavor was there was it was a little on the bland side. I think maybe the broth didn't get a chance to develop its flavors enough. The essential ingredient of pho is its broth and if it didn't have enough time to develop, then you're going to need a lot of Hoisin sauce and Sriracha. My mom was pretty disappointed in her pho but my dad liked his. My mom gave it a 5/10 and my dad gave it a 7/10. Oxtail pho with ribeye slices- my husband had this and he too did not care for the flavors. The oxtails were not plump, juicy, flavorful, nor as tender. They also lacked fat and there was not a lot of meat on them. Oxtails are supposed to be rich, fatty, meaty, flavorful, and when cooked right, the meat and fat falls right off the bone. The oxtails he had in his bowl were small and didn't add flavor to the pho. He said his pho was bland and agreed with my mom that the broth needed to be developed more. He gave it a 5/10. For $22 a bowl, it wasn't worth the price. Zen ramen (Miso based with pork belly) - I had this and I enjoyed my bowl. The broth was so clean, clear, flavorful, and light. There was a good amount of noodles and they were cooked perfectly! The noodles were a good color, bouncy, and not too chewy! The pork belly melted in my mouth and I enjoyed the addition of the bamboo shoots, mushrooms, ginger, sesame seeds, scallions, and seaweed as toppings. The soft boiled eggs were also cooked perfectly with that semi runny consistency. My mom and husband tried my ramen and they both agreed that they prefer my ramen over their pho. I would rate this a solid 8.5/10! Overall, the service was outstanding and we loved the atmosphere. However, I gave a lower rating due to the food and the prices. The prices were a little on the pricier side ranging $14-$22 for a bowl of pho. My ramen itself was $17! I am willing to come back and possibly try again as I'm hoping it was just an off day. I do love that the menu is extensive and there's plenty of other dishes to try. I just wished that our first visit here with my parents was out of the ballpark. Nonetheless, it was good to spend time with my parents at a nice, cozy, and familiar place!

Please please please come here. I shouldn't have to beg. This place is the sh**!!!!!!!!!!! The ambiance is so cool and calming. You could come here to escape the rain, grab a two top next to a window and watch the droplets fall to a Netflix show or nice book. Or you could bring your family and friends and have an absolute monster of a feast. I costed this location about a month ago and it's simply unforgettable, the pricing is good, the food is fresh, and the staff is absolutely attentive. Try the Bun Bo Hue, or their rendition of it to be taken on the greatest herbal and savorous ride of your life. Ask for extra toppings and DO NOT FORGET to spend that extra dollar for fresh noodles. I'll never steer you wrong.

It was super crispy, but the meat was still so juicy. And the sweet and creamy sauces just finished the perfect bite. The ramens were pretty solid too. The matcha broth was super creamy and light. And the tonkotsu was so flavorful, with really tender chashu and a perfectly soft boiled egg. Plus the noodles were a really good texture. The restaurant itself is really cute too. They also have a convenience store type of ramen station in the front, which I really want to try. As well as a little arcade game that you can play in the front while you wait to be seated. However, I was really not a fan of the service. It's nothing really against the servers because they were super nice, but they just seemed so frazzled. We arrived around an hour before closing, but it took forever for us to be seated, despite seeing a few empty tables around. By the time we were seated, we were told kitchen would be closing in two minutes, so we had to hurry and put in our orders. All of that was fine and I didn't mind. But what I did mind was that our waitress checked our order twice when we first have it. And she came back to our table within the next five minutes to check our orders again for a third time to make sure she had down what we wanted. I wanted the matcha ramen and was most looking forward to having some chashu and egg. So she confirmed my order three times that I wanted matcha ramen. But when it came out, she gave me the vegetable bowl. I knew the kitchen had closed at that point, so I just ate it, but I was really disappointed. (I did get to try a bite of my friends egg and chashu, which also didn't really help because it was so good and made me wish mine came with those even more.) When we were finished eating, it took forever for the checks to come out. This I also didn't mind that much, because the servers, again, looked really frazzled trying to close up. But at this point we had waited until well after their closing time, so part of me was hoping they could just close us out first and then finish closing down the place. I think we waited at least half an hour from when we first asked for the check (at which point we had already been waiting a while) to when we finally got our cards back. I did see they charged me for the vegetable version of the matcha ramen so it was whatever, but then also I was confused - so it wasn't a mix up in the kitchen, she rang it up as the vegetable one from the beginning! Even though I never mentioned it and she never said vegetable when confirming my order. It was a dollar less to get tofu instead of an egg and chashu which doesn't seem worth it. Writing this all out, I'm sorry to rant, because the food really was good. And looking at other reviews, it looks like the service is usually pretty good. But again, it was just disappointing. That being said, I am really hoping it was a one off thing because I would go again and try some other menu items too.

What I Ordered: - Tokyo: For $16.95, I thought this was reasonably priced and excited to try as reading reviews raved about the umami flavor of their ramen. Without exaggeration, this was a life-changing ramen. The best ramen that I've had in my life!! The torched egg was genius and added a beautiful texture to the rich, and flavorful broth. The fried chicken thigh was a delicious protein and cooked so well. Honestly, every ingredient was crafted well and combined to make such a beautiful bowl. - Lychee Martini: What better way to toast to life, then with a martini! The popping bubbles were not my thing, but the flavor of the martini was delicious. I can see why many suggest trying it. I initially wanted to try the soup dumplings (Xiao Long Bao), but the waitress convinced me not to as "they take too long" to prepare. Instead I went with the pork fried dumplings and the Taiwanrse sausage. The dumplings were very average: not bad flavor but they had a flavor and were uniform in a way that suggested they came right out of a bag from the freezer. There are much better and fresher dumplings to be had in Jacksonville. The sausage, however, was quite good. It was taught, porky, and had notes of five spice & maybe cinnamon. It further reinforced my view that meat always tastes best when served on a stick! It helped bring in the final score two three stars, making up for poor service and mediocre dumplings.
