Let me start by saying the service and personality of the place is great and I love the atmosphere. That being said I was pretty unhappy with what was a very simple and straightforward tattoo. I've had a number of tattoos over the years and they were all very well done and have come to expect a certain level of quality in a tattoo artist. I don't remember the artist's name but his lines weren't straight, he'd shaded outside the lines in multiple places and sadly at the time I only noticed one spot where that was the case and he ended up just shading in that area a bit darker making it look a bit off and uneven slightly. The finer details were a bit uneven and felt like it was something lazily drawn out and colored in. It may have been an off day and like I said he was a standup guy and gave good service as far as personality and professional courtesy goes but if you're going to be tattooing something permanent on someone's body and charge for it, it'd better be perfect. I hope I'm the only bad review on here as I wish them the best of luck.

I'm so happy I went here for my first tattoo! This place has an awesome atmosphere and chill staff. Rob Graves did my tattoo and he did an amazing job- the lines and shading were perfect. It came out so much better than I expected. I would definitely recommend this place and would come back again in the future

My first but not last traditional style tattoo by an awesome artist named Thomas!!!!!!

My daughter had her first lobe piercing today and we had a good experience. Dell explained…read moreeverything very clearly so she knew what to expect. He had a sense of humor, which she appreciated, considering her nerves about the first piercing. The space was clean, and he was professional. *Don't forget your birth certificate for your minor kiddo. We didn't realize we needed one until we arrived for the appointment, but he was kind enough to let us reschedule so we didn't lose our deposit.

I've been going to Dell for years--since I was 12 years old. Unfortunately, after my recent…read moreexperience, I won't be returning. About a month ago I got a dermal piercing. This past Tuesday, the top fell off while I was cleaning it with a Q-tip. I called immediately, and the receptionist told me she would message me if an opening became available. I never heard back. I went to another piercer in Montpelier to see if they could help, but they couldn't. After waiting three days with no response from Angelina's Rose, I called again and explained that another piercer had told me it would likely be too late to save the piercing if it healed over. Instead of being seen promptly, I was offered an appointment a week later--even though by then the piercing would likely have closed, leaving surgical removal as my only option. I explained that if there were no appointments available, I was willing to come in and wait for an opening. I was finally told there was time to come in today at 10:00 a.m. When I arrived, the first thing Dell said was that I must have been touching the piercing because he "screws them on really tight." I tried to explain that it happened while I was cleaning it, but he interrupted me and said he already knew what I was going to say and that I must have been playing with it because "there's no other way" and that this had never happened to anyone else. The conversation quickly became unprofessional. He called me entitled because of the way I spoke to the receptionist. While I admit I was frustrated, I was not yelling, swearing, or being disrespectful--I was simply trying to get help before my piercing closed. I then asked why I had been told to come in at 10:00 a.m. if he had already decided he wasn't going to help me. He could have told me that over the phone and saved me the trip. His response was that when he has "shit to talk about someone," he says it to their face. I found that response incredibly unprofessional. He then told me I was no longer welcome at the shop, called me disrespectful, and refused to help me. As a result, my dermal will now likely need to be surgically removed. I also brought up that I didn't feel the receptionist had treated me kindly. Dell told me they had cameras and had reviewed the conversation, insisting she had done nothing wrong. I got the impression they were backing each other up rather than listening to my concerns, so I didn't feel like I was being heard. I told him I was glad there were cameras because I know I remained calm and never yelled or acted aggressively. To make matters worse, this isn't the first issue I've had. He pierced my second nostril crooked the first time, and I had to pay to have it repierced, even though the mistake wasn't mine. I'm incredibly disappointed with how I was treated. I've been a loyal customer for years, and I expected much better communication, professionalism, and customer service. Based on my experience, I can't recommend this shop.
