The waitress was weird, kept calling us "lovelies" to point it was obnoxious. It's really hard to enjoy a meal and conversation when the waitress keeps interrupting "how is everything lovelies? Are those drinks good?" And then some corny joke and an obnoxious laugh. Then she got the table next to us involved in the conversation which gave them the green light to keep interrupting our conversation. Paid $150 for two to eat what tastes like reheated food. Food was lukewarm at best. Not was you would expect from a seafood boil.

My Red Lobster experience was as good as it could be. I snapped a picture of my plate but Yelp didnt save it while I ate it so when I returned to submit my review I couldn't retrieve it. My lunch consisted of the sailors platter: fried fish, popcorn shrimp and shrimp scampi. That scampi is unmatched. So good and buttery and garlicky. My wife begged me to bring her and her coworkers their signature biscuits which I did not oblige. It was MY lunch time. Not to be disturbed with mundane tasks. I enjoyed myself. Tried ordering to-go on the Red Lobster My Rewards App, despite having a section to enter gift cards electronic ones don't work on the app. After attempting to complete my order it said there was a problem with the payment and I needed to speak with the local restaurant. I placed my order directly with the Owensboro restaurant. I told the person I wanted a "family feast" (serves 4) and that the order was to be picked up by someone other than me. So she knew at least two people were involved in the meal. At pick up, she gave us an order for 1 person. After talking to no less than 5 people about my order tonight, I got connected with the on-duty manager, Meghan. She didn't offer to make it right. She didn't offer to look into the mixup. She just said there was a miscommunication. Oh, so it's my fault! Red Lobster should take a lesson from Chick-fil-a about making orders right. read more

The host when you walk in is super nice and funny, and are server was just as great! Food was fire and was overall a great experience!

I don't recommend salmon here, the crab and everything probably but very overrated place. Salmon has no flavor at all. Sea salted fries have no salt. Scallops were undercooked and triple berry Sangria taste basic. read more

The visit started out well the server was nice and prompt. We ordered our food and it went down from there, our bread was burnt and we never saw our server again. Have always loved Red Lobster. Me and the wife went tonight for our anniversary which has been where we have gone for better than 25 years. Tonight was awesome. Our server Kari I think that is the correct spelling lol. Was awesome explained everything very well and kept glasses full. Manager even checked in on us a couple times. Food was awesome. I arrived at 7pm on a Tuesday. The place was virtually empty. I was told there was a 15 minute wait. When I asked why, the hostess refused to answer. Three of the specials involved salmon. My server was great. She was attentive and kept my drink full without prompting. That is why I gave this Red Lobster two stars. However, the food does not deserve any stars. The pre-meal salad was a basic bagged salad, with mostly white iceberg lettuce. It was flavorless and bland, and the vinagarette dressing was just as bland to match. I ordered my main course without butter, as I am lactose intolerant. Unfortunately I discovered that Red Lobster solely relies upon butter for taste. The lobster tails, shrimp, and salmon were all burnt to a crisp, and additionally must have sat under the heat lamp for 10 minutes. Everything was rubbery as a result. A side order of rice and broccoli were both lukewarm and half-cooked. Nothing about this meal was done correctly. I don't go to Red Lobster often, but I'll be extra sure to never return. read more

My wife and I ate there on Sat, 3/31/18 around noon. We felt as if the greeter and waitress , Megan did not look happy with their job. I had the shrimp scampi and my wife had the raw oysters which both were delicious. However, our waitress, Megan , started good, but then ignored us in the middle and end of meal. I had my water glass to be refilled and bread tray at end of table for more. However, she walked by 3-4 times without asking if we needed anything else, including asking the booth behind us if they needed anything. Therefore, we left without asking for anything else, as we thought that we weren't important. As I waited for my wife in the restroom, I noticed that the dark hair greeter never smiled at three other couples that entered and wasn't too friendly for a greeter. Other concern was your biscuits. We would love them for such a buttery, delicious taste. On this visit, there was either less butter, or cooked too long and made them drier. I have lived and traveled all over the country. Most places I have been Red Lobster has been a safe choice for better than average chain restaurant food and good service. I moved to Owensboro 6 years ago. I saw the Red Lobster and decided to eat dinner there on my night off. Service was lackluster. The server seemed put out to have to handle a single customer alone. The food was well below the standard I had come to expect from Red Lobster. My shrimp was over cooked and rubbery. It also tasted like it might have been fried twice. It wasn't a busy night. I just left thinking every restaurant can have an off day. 6 months later I decide to have lunch there with a friend. Once again service was less than good. Food was a little better; but still not more than mediocre. So I decide to8 bring it to the managers attention. She listened halfheartedly, didn't apologize or offer anything like a free dessert or anything. Just shook her head yes, said OK. And walked away. 3 more visits in the remaining years have been no better. I work too hard for my money to pay too much for mediocrity. This Red Lobster is off my list. read more

Food taste & quality was alright, Everybody in our section as they would get their order it was wrong. Including us. 3 plates all 3 were wrong. They fixed it but still, $35 for lunch and Long John Silver's would have tasted just as good. And it smelled like a pisser! read more
