Some days it's more one lettuce than the other." So I guess that means if they have a ton of leftover spinach that's all you're getting. Plus the price was around $10 and that doesn't include a drink, side or anything. This happened in April and I contacted the business right after I left. The manager was not very pleasant to speak with- she offered no resolution and tried to say "that's just how it is." Essentially even though the menu promises "a mix of blended greens, romaine, etc., sometimes we have more left over than the other so some days it's more spinach than the other greens." But as you can see from the photo the salad was literally just a spinach salad with no other greens mixed in. After several minutes of back and forth they begrudgingly offered to come back and remake it but I was only in town visiting for a couple days so I didn't have time for that. The main problem though was the attitude that I received from speaking to the business. It wasn't helpful or even kind, it was irritated.

This is country cooking at it's finest. The baked apples had the perfect balance of cinnamon and sugar and quite literally melted in my mouth. The sausage patties were fork tender and flavorful. I've eaten breakfast in a lot of places and have never had sausage like this! And then there were the chicken tenders. I'm not normally a fan because of heavy breading and little chicken, but these were the opposite of what I thought they were going to be. These tenders were lightly breaded large pieces of perfectly cooked chicken. Last, but not least, there was the coffee. This coffee was so good that it didn't need anything added to it to make it drinkable. I was very impressed with how friendly the staff was, and how they kept the buffet tables clean and well stocked. The only downside is that the place is on the smaller side, and very popular, so it can be a bit crowded. Don't let that be a deterrent, though. The food is worth it!

I've been doing burgers and shakes and new flavors of ice cream and I'm discovering that chocolate ice cream and its many descendants are quite delicious. For example I beta tested the Kentucky Fudge Pecan Pie in a baby sized cup and found that I love it! I also reaffirmed that I have zero allergic reaction to pecans. Furthermore, I discovered that pie crust bits in ice cream are flipping fantastic and something I will include in my extensive list of things I am thankful for come this November's Turkey holiday. One area that could use improvement is accessibility. While I'm not a wheelchair user, I do use a cane, and I found it frustrating to maneuver around the dining room because the tables are placed so close together. I also noticed that the self-service drink station would be difficult, if not impossible, for many wheelchair users to access comfortably. A few changes to the layout would make the restaurant much more welcoming and accessible for people with a variety of mobility needs. Overall, I'd definitely come back for the excellent food and hope to see accessibility improvements in the future.
