First time here. We waited for 15 minutes for a drink. Street tacos (carnitas) were dry as a powdered donut. No flavor to the meat at all! We also ordered the Top Shelf guacamole...had to be the worst I've ever had! It was bland, there was no flavor AT ALL. I asked the waitress for salt to add a little to the guacamole. She never returned with any. We were never were given plates. We eat over the table. (Who does this?) Note...check your bill. Nothing on our bill matched the menu price! So super late to submitting this comment but we went here for an afternoon valentines date. We both had the dos tacos; one was chicken and the other was steak. Both had some incredible heat from the serrano peppers, which was super tasty. My only complaint would be that it wasn't spicy enough?!! read more

We tried again and it was so loud we couldn't hear each other. The tortillas were mushy on the chimichangas but the chicken was dry and tasted old. Tonight the chips were stale, salsa way too sour and flavorless (too much lime?), overcharged for every little thing, and the happy hour margarita is lacking everything a margarita should have. I love Mexican food. I went to this restaurant with high expectations. My wife ordered the chili rellenos. The rellenos were filled with cheese that tasted like velveta. The rellenos were coated with dough that was not fully cooked and was chewy. My wife found a hair in her relleno and when she told the waitress she was told no one in the kitchen had hair. We had to insist that she take the meal off the bill. They goofed up bill and we had to ask them to explain it. To top it off they charge $1.75 for a small bowl of salsa. My meal had tamales. They were tasteless, and the beans were like eating puréed beans with water added. Needless to say we will not be going back. The ambiance was mediocre. The food was super good. It was authentic Mexican food or at least to this Minnesota native it was. My boyfriend is from San Diego and said it is Tex mex. My boyfriend of course preferred his carne says fries from California Mexican food. They gave us complimentary chips and salsa- good amount before the food came out which helped tie me over as I only had strawberries to eat for the day. Left very full and satisfied! If I shut my eyes, it was exactly like the one I had in Tulum Mexico last winter.Must have been the same cheese..... O my gatos, soooooo good. Then, I went for the gusto-------Fried Ice Cream Oh, well, it can't all be teriffic. Alright... this one made me a bit nervous as it is attached to a gas station. But... SO good! Fresh chips and salsa, fast and friendly service, fun atmosphere. I ordered the Lindo Special which is chicken, steak and shrimp sautéed with bright/fresh green, red and yellow peppers along with onions and mushrooms. It was a perfect mix of smoky, slightly spicy and salty sautéed goodness over rice and covered in a delicious cheese sauce. Coupled with corn tortillas and it will be enough leftovers for at least 2 other lunches. Love these restaurants- definitely recommend! read more

I just moved from Phoenix, AZ and stopped in to Fiesta Cancun. I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! I tried the house margarita on the rocks with salt and was blown away! Great flavor and did the trick..Chile Verde was tasty. The rice, well it was the best rice I have tasted in years!! Roasted corn was inside of it and so light and fluffy!!! Finally after bookmarking this place a few months ago I went and checked it out. The place was packed on a Friday night. It's a little odd that it shares the space with a gas station. But once your inside you cannot tell. The place is decorated very well, with cool paintings on the wall and Mexico decor. The two of us were seated In a very small two person booth. Being a tall smaller person I felt scrunched and cramped. I don't know how a larger person would have felt sitting here. I would have asked to move but the place was too busy and the bar area was right by the door. It was a very cold evening and even not sitting by the bar the cold draft hit me every time the door opened. The service was attentive and friendly. The food was good. The prices seemed a little high compared to other comparable places in the area. The menu was huge. I finally had to just choose something due to my stomach growling. My quesadilla was excellent and so was my dates three tacos. Hope this place makes some minor changes but it was still pretty great. read more

Fiesta Cancun has terrible service for take out. Twice in a row we have had a terrible experience. We ordered a chipotle burrito, Burrito San Pedro, chips and chipotle cheese sauce and the appetizer sampler. As soon as I ordered I received a text saying the order was processed and that I would receive a second text when the order was ready for pick up. As soon as we received the first text we left to go wait in the parking lot to pick it up. We were there within ten minutes. We waited still no text. Went inside to ask, was walked past and ignored over and over again. Noticed to go packages by the register. Went back outside to wait because we still didn't receive a text. Waited another half hour. Still no it's ready text. In total it's been over an hour since we ordered. Went inside to ask again. Hunted someone down again and without them actually looking they said oh here you go with the food we saw by the register almost an hour ago. I said that's been sitting there for almost an hour and was never alerted. I don't want to pay $55 for cold food. The guy responded with "Don't you have a microwave?" Then I asked to speak to the manager and he said he was the manager. Then I pointed out that I never received a text saying it was ready and that I've been here the whole time. Then the guy said that wasn't his fault that's a software issue. If he's the manager that's his software his issue. He refused to refund us and we had to insist they remake it. So, they go remake it. I drive 5 min to go home open it up and it's all cold and soggy. The cheese sauce is cold and congealed. The burritos are room temperature. The appetizers is disgusting it's extremely burnt and dry in some places but so soggy and cold it looks like mush. I'm pretty sure I was handed the exact same food that was originally made. After giving this place a second shot after the last massive screw up my family and I will never eat there again. I also will be sure to tell everyone about my lack of service. I truly feel disrespected and as if I was robbed of my hard earned money today. read more

Let's start with the good, it was easy to access both location and online ordering they even had time scheduling options. I also appreciated the texts to keep me informed on my order. I arrived at my scheduled time just as they also texted it was ready. I was greeted by friendly staff into what seemed a very clean, warm and welcoming atmosphere the decor was very pleasing. Now what my okay rating was for is the temperature of the food I received. It did taste good and huge portion size but I received food that was room temperature at best actually fairly cold, I do not like cold food. I picked up on time, I only drove 5 miles so it was not in car long and car was very warm inside. I cut it in half to start and the center was only room temperature. That should have at least been warmish. I am having a me weekend so staying in hotel I only have a microwave and this came in tin foil packaging there are no plates here so can't even warm it up in microwave I would try this place again but only when I feel comfortable for a dine in option. I only post this because hopefully feed back will help them improve I see a lot of potential. read more

Worse place ever! First visit I ordered beef tacos and when I bit into them the grease ran out the other end non stop like a faucet. The next time, not sure why we went back...? we arrived at 8:20, they close at 9:00. They sat us at one of four booths on the very left side of the dining room because the entire room was already closed with chairs up on the tables and someone was mopping the floor. The server was so rude and she insisted that we order immediately because the kitchen was closing. Immediately after we ordering we started to smell the sick, rancid bucket of filthy Lysol water they were smearing like slop on the entire floor around us. It was so strong and awful smelling I could hardly drink my water without tasting the smell. I asked if she could move the bucket and she just gave me a dirty look and kept mopping closer and closer. When our food came we attempted eating it but the smell was so overwhelming I was getting a headache. I asked for a to go box and again the server was rude and tossed it at me. Another customers in the lobby picking up a to go order also commented on the small and decided to wait outside. Bottom line: VERY rude service, acted like they only wanted to close down early, food is slop. ps - I had to select a star, but I would really rate it negative stars. read more

i ordered a Carne Asada Burrito. the worst nastiest mexican food i have ever teasted. The beans and rice set aside, the meat was wrapped with a flower tortilla and they put some kind of sauce that was just awful. they should be a shamed of them selfs for calling that place a Mexican restaurant. i do not recommend this place to know one. read more

I Approve! They have the elusive Tacate Light beer which is my favorite. If you like Guacamole, then you have to try as they make it fresh in front of you. If you like your food out fast, then this place will make your head spin. I've learned to pace my order so I can enjoy a couple of pre-meal beers.
