It was my first time at Red Mango and it didn't live up to the hype. Granted, it was at the airport and the lady helping us was extremely friendly. We had just gotten off an Hawaiian Airlines flight at Harry Reid and had a six hour layover with a connecting flight to Detroit on Delta. Luckily, both gates were right there. We saw Red Mango and wanted to try an acai bowl. We were going to get the pink bowl, but they were out of dragonfruit. We opted for the PB Power Bowl $11.79 instead. I decided on an PB açaí bowl from Red Mango for my breakfast back into the real world. Unfortunately, the açaí bowl at the Red Mango appeared not to be freshly made. It seemed fairly similar to the frozen açaí bowls that are purchased in stores such as Sam's which was very disappointing. I probably should have just gotten a smoothie here. The worker, on the other hand, was very quick with getting my bowl out and getting me checked out, which I appreciated. Red Mango is a must whenever I'm the Las Vegas airport. First and last place to come during my visits,most of the time. The grilled PB&J is our usual. Fresh fruits is included with lots of peanut butter and grilled while you wait. It's a bit messy, and so delicious. I haven't tried anything else from here. Service has always been nice. I was very bummed I couldn't try their signature soft serve granola and berries but I was minutes from boarding my flight and needed something to hold up for an hour or so before I ate it. So I went with a smoothie bowl and chose the tropical with pineapple, mangoes and coconut. Very good and held up for 2 hours before I actually ate it! Worst red mango ever. Ordered 2 açaí bowls and although the toppings were fresh, the açaí was premade and completely frozen solid. So if you're hungry and expecting to be able to eat right away, nope. I didn't know that I was buying a frozen meal that I would have to thaw out first before eating. So update, we complained and they made us 2 new ones from açaí bowls that had been frozen and thawed out so instead of popsicles açaí it was a soupy açaí bowl. Sorry - your shortcut sucks. You can pick vanilla yogurt, chocolate yogurt, original tart yogurt, or other flavored yogurt or toppings. Huge portions. Small size is deal for one person, so medium size cup is better for two people. For pricey snacks, I will take the healthiest options. No need to eat too full before and after your flight. Drinking too much water or sweet beverages will make you go to the restrooms often. Delicious yogurt! They also sell smoothies, juice, and other items. Staff was quick at service. Long lines at times for sure. Plenty of tables and chairs outside and there's a pizza place next door. I think this place is worth making a stop at if you are about to catch a flight at any of the gates nearby. I enjoy walking around while inside the airports, so I usually end up sitting near the retail and food areas instead of sitting at my gate area. Yes, I plan to be back again next time. I was super excited to spot this place literally right after I told my husband that I needed to detox after our Vegas trip. We got the kale apple ginger smoothie. It was light and refreshing. You could really taste the ginger. We also got the bacon avocado flat (not really detox food but we were hungry) and that was just ok. The Red Mango by my house, sadly, closed many years ago. I used to pop by for yogurt after the gym on a weekly basis -- to the extent that the girl behind the counter became my friend on Facebook! With hours to kill at the airport, my friend and I decided to walk around and take a look at all the offerings. I was more than excited to see a Red Mango and had to go in. The yogurt was the same as I remembered, but the toppings at this particular location are dismal. I used to get almonds, raspberries, and mini dark chocolate chips. There were no raspberries, which could be a seasonal thing, but the closest substitute -- the strawberries -- was horrific. The berries looked far from fresh (defrosted) and were a complete disaster. They were smashed and some looked like they were on the verge of rotting/fermenting. I got kiwi instead. There were no mini dark chocolate chips, so I got regular chips. And there were no almonds. None. Of any kind. Fail fail fail. Oh, and because it's at the airport, a small was like 6 or 7 dollars. Yikes. read more

Allegedly, I ordered a Buffalo Chicken Flatbread Sandwich. What I got was more like a couple of pieces of grilled flatbread soaked in buffalo dressing. The product is good and most items are healthy- fresh squeezed juices, smoothies, etc. they also have more substantial choice like paninis. My fave being the grilled cheese. Flatbread was sooooo thin and looked NOTHING like the picture! Barely any meat in it, half of my bites was just flatbread. The last time I ate here it was worth the $9. Now it's SAD. Never again!
