This review is specifically for the cake decorator and the guy who I spoke to on the phone the night I placed my order. I ordered two birthday cakes on-line for my oldest daughter's birthday. I was having trouble placing my order and the guy told me to place the order as it only allows you to do so 24 hours in advance. They should be able to have it ready by 6:00 p.m. (I was calling at 7:45 p.m.). He reassured me by saying that I should call back if I had any further issues placing the order and if not, to call back the next day to confirm that my order went through. Good customer service skills. Although my order went through, I called back the next day to confirm the pickup time for the cakes. The girl who answered the phone happened to be the cake decorator and she told me she could have the cakes ready by 6:00 p.m. She then asked me if I wanted a different color for the balloon cakes since it was for a girl and I had ordered blue. I asked if she could do a green and she said she could. Yay. She explained that the on-line ordering system was limited although customers could call to customize their cakes. I'm glad she told me that. She was very personable and did a great job with both cakes. I'm just sorry I didn't catch either of their names. But the order was placed on 2/19 and picked up on 2/20. On June 20, 202 I went to pick up an order of Picture birthday cake that I ordered on June 17, 2024 the person who served me is the manager of this location 3301 S Jones Blvd Las Vegas, NV and this other one 9765 West Flamingo Rd. Las Vegas, NV, her name is Kara, she wants me to pay &10.00 more for a mistake they made on my cake, the photo was scratched on the side of the right cheek, I told her that I was not going to pay more because I had already paid for that job. She told me to come back in 1 hour to fix it but she gave me the photo that was all blurry and ugly. Kara is a person with a very rude attitude, She doesn't let you speak or explain anything, she tells you the problems that exist between her and other workers, which is not something that matters to me because they are internal problems that she and her employees must solve, not the clients. Kara should not be there either as a manager or as a worker because you have no professional ethics, much less customer service skills. I never go out of my way to leave nasty negative reviews because I don't wanna be a "Karen" but I've had it with this location. I go to school nearby and I always love coming to get some ice cream on my break but hate coming because the girls are are so mean and rude, especially the small short Mexican chubby girl...she's the bully of them all. Every though all the girls at my school hate her I'm always nice to her and even when she's mean to me I never say anything back because I feel sorry for her and idk maybe she had a bad day? Not sure but today is June 2, it's supposed to be full capacity and no masks. We came inside to grab some ice cream (we had no masks) the girl told us we can put our shirts over over nose and mouth so we did. We waited in like for a good 10min for the small mexican girl to tell us she can't serve us so of course my friend got mad and I was upset knowing I only have 10min left on my break. All the customers started to defend us and even brought in a mask. Once we had our masks the short Mexican chubby girl was so rude and sarcastically says "IF U HAVE ANY QUESTIONS IM HERE" and I look at her in disbelief...I couldn't believe how rude she was. Every time I come in I expect her to always be rude to me...I'm use to it. I'll be graduating school soon, so I don't be coming back here for ice cream. Sucks that the people who work are are so miserable and then dealing with mean girls at my school just makes it worse. All I want is some ice cream and enjoy my break. The store is always clean, fresh and everyone has a friendly smile. It is a great place to go with children, especially with the deals on Tuesdays for more savings.
