I'm a big fan of this place because their frozen yoghurt is delicious, they give free samples, and the toppings are very fresh! It's a special treat at any time of the year. So nice to see fresh blueberries and strawberries at any time of the year. Occasionally, they're busy and flavours run out. The employees are always nice. It's a small place and there's not a ton of seating inside, so most people take their treat to a bench somewhere outside. Yummy!! read more

The service was horrible I had walked in with my friend and she needed to use the bathroom, first thing she told me was "it was only for customers" she assumed I wasn't planning on buying anything and still had the audacity to let someone walk in (a white man) and they didn't buy anything and did not ask him if he was buyin anything so I feel racial profiled. If you like açaí bowls, don't come here. The açaí is brown and looks like sh**. Make sure to double check your bowl as well because they won't put all the fruit that's included in the bowl. How do they skip out putting in the granola?! And blueberries?! Like, that's what the bowl consists of so why leave it out?? Not to mention how this Red Mango is full of incompetent workers, down from the employees, managers and owner 'Rahat'. What we hoped would be a good experience became one of the worse. From their less than desirable BROWN colored açaí bowls to their lack of following a customers instruction. $27 for 2 incomplete DISGUSTING bowls that looked like diarrhea and not açaí. How does one manage to ruin 2 BOWLS?! Our whole order was completely wrong! After completely botching our bowls we called the manager/managers for a refund. We wouldn't have done so had only 1 bowl been correct. After a week of waiting for a callback, Rahat called back only to refuse a refund because we didn't have a receipt, NOR were we given one by employees. You would think after botching 2 bowls and the terrible experience it wouldn't be an issue to refund a dissatisfied customer. If you love açaí bowls as much as we do, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! It's. Finally. Open. Don't be fooled by the [x]-berry knock offs. Red Mango is the real deal. This is the only "frozen yogurt" franchise that can officially call their product "yogurt" by definition. But meh - forget about all that. All you need to know is that the yogurt here tastes awesome. It's not as tart at the other frozen yogurt places and it's just one hell of a smooth tasting snack. More Red Mango on the way to Evanston which will help me out since driving all the way out to Naperville for the yogurt goodness is a bit outrageous (although not too outrageous as I just did it). I gave it three stars because, would I come back? Yes. But they don't let you taste what you're getting and lemme tell ya, cookie butter and Nutella taste like lemon. So if I close my eyes and pretend that I'm eating lemon ice cream, it's pretty good, until I bite into a Reese's pieces and I just ruined my whole night by spending $10 on a bowl of lemon and chocolate flavored frozen yogurt. It's easy to miss this location when you're driving around the shopping center as it is located towards the Main Street but is nearly invisible if you are shopping at TJMaxx or any of the other big retail stores in the same strip mall. Once you have arrived, you will be pleased, however! Call ahead if you are counting on your favorite flavor being around (they are the only location in the Chi-town burbs that has Taro consistently!) The owner and his son are usually running the place and are friendly and get you checked out quickly. I haven't had the flatbreads or any of the cooked items but the acai bowl I had and the frozen yogurts have all been wonderful. This is one of the only Red Mango establishments I have been to where they serve anything other then the fro-yo products. 2 thumbs up! I introduced this spot to my friends who live in Naperville, and now they are hooked! Can't wait for my next visit! read more

Update June 2008 - added one star I really enjoy the original and the fresh fruit toppings. I'm a regular. The very young guys and gals, though very adorable and super personable, spend a lot of time in a group versus spreading out a wee bit more throughout the store and with customers. It would be a plus if Red Mango could add litchee (lychee) to the toppings menu. read more

Great place to stop for a treat on a sunny day in downtown Naperville! I walked in today with a large group of kids and adults. It was mid afternoon so it was not crowded. The inside seating area, frozen yogurt machines, and toppings were clean and well organized. They had cute little sampling cups for the kids to test the flavor before we filled the bowls. Adults can feel free to sample too! ;) Everyone in our group grabbed a large bowl with their frozen yogurt and toppings. The staff was very efficient and were able to weigh and collect the money very quickly. The staff seemed friendly and happy to have our group there. They had a decent size seating area. You could go with a group and sit down or grab your treat and head out. My advice- don't overflow the cups with yogurt or toppings. All the yogurt is weighed before you get the final price. Overall- great visit to Red Mango I'm sure I will stop in again soon! read more

Well, after a couple of years we gave Red Mango another shot. They have upped their game again, now offering half a dozen or so flavors including White Peach, Sweet Melon, Blueberry, Key Lime, Vanilla and more (still never brought back my green tea, though...!) I tasted the peach (which was really bursting with peachy flavor) but opted for the Sweet Melon, which did get a little sweet over time, but was still very tasty. The gentleman had ordered vanilla but somehow ended up with Key Lime, which he realized partway through. The place was busy and the kids were cranking them out so maybe that was how the error occurred...still, bummer. There are a wide range of toppings, the standard fruits and nuts, plus graham cracker and oreo crumbs, and even several flavors of boba to put on now. I like my yoghurt a little more sour, but it was refreshing to try something so flavorful. There are several other new froyo places in town that I may try to compare this summer, but I'm glad that Red Mango has expanded their flavors (dare I say "branched out"?) It will make me more likely to return. read more

I had the greatest experience @ red mango!! The nicest girl helped me out there!! Her name was yutong and she was the best employee ever!! She was super wholesome and complimented my shirt! Women never compliment me and it made me feel very special. She made me the most delicious smoothie and smoothie bow ever. My 7 kids all loved her and she made us feel very welcomed. My fave froyo. I like that the stores became self serve a couple of years ago and appreciate that you can also serve yourself samples. Like most people, I usually only go in warm weather months amd since they don't offer other foods I'm always a little worried that they might go out of business. They are my favorite froyo place because the yogurt, no matter what flavor, has the best, ever so slightly sour, not-too-sickeningly sweet taste. Also, they have a nice selection of healthy toppings, from fresh berries to coconut shavings. It is more adult friendly than other similar establishments, but it's still appealing to kids. In summer this location can be a little tricky to find nearby parking, but it's Naperville...par for the course. read more

They recently changed this place over from full service to self-serve. I can't decide if I like it. For one, it's great because you get to choose exactly how much you want, what you want, and all that jazz. But then I SWEAR the prices are higher because it's a weighed amount. Which means you want to put fewer heavy toppings on there (hello gummy bear offenders!) to make the price lower. They give sample cups as many as you desire when you walk in, so that's great. They also feature a Greek yogurt flavor or two to really get more bang for your buck since that one is the same price as the regular yogurt flavors. I've tried most, but I keep going back to the original. Delicious and a fun treat we like to take our 2yo out to every once in awhile... but not often or we'd break the bank! read more

Nice sweet treat for yourself and it's healthy too. It feels light and not too heavy on the stomach so this yogurt makes the perfect cap off to a lunch of dinner. I like to get the Graham Cracker topping along with a fruit (mango, or strawberries) on Original flavored yogurt. I've tried the white yogurt chips topping before but personally it's a bit too sweet for me. I prefer a balance of fruit and some kind of light sugar as not to overthrow the taste of the yogurt itself. A Small cup is good enough for a little indulgence. If you are sharing with a friend or just can't get enough of this stuff, go for a Medium or larger. This place is definitely a treat especially on a hot, humid, summer day. read more

I treated myself to a healthy berry parfait which only tallied up 280 calories. I had the original frozen yo, and it was really good! The granola was similar to bird seed in it's appearance, but tasted pretty good. The fruit was essentially fresh off the farm, numm-tastic! My only complaint- the chairs inside are so uncomfortable and flimsy! Thank goodness for the beautiful Naperville Riverwalk (with plenty of benches) right across the street. =) read more

This is my second time coming and I am once again disappointed. The first time I got chocolate peanut butter frozen yogurt and was upset when my froyo was icy and didn't taste at all like the flavor. I wasn't able to try it either because they don't offer samples. When I payed I was shocked when it was $10 for a small amount. I then decided I would give it a second try and ended up getting the same results. This time I got mango and raspberry froyo and although the flavors were much better, it was still icy and much too expensive. A place very similar in St Charles was much cheaper, had much better quality froyo, and had so many options for froyo flavors and toppings. Will not be coming back here read more

Absolute worst Red Mango I've ever been to. Do yourself a favor and drive over to Wheaton which is much better. First off, total thick heads work here. I asked for sample cups for three people and got TWO cups... First off, how am I supposed to choose a flavor with just one cup. Secondly, what about our third guest? I asked for more and the response I got was: there are two in there. The place is always dirty as well. Last two visits span few months apart and no change. Dirty floors, sticky machines, and dirty tables. The selection of toppings is dismal at best, most of them cross contaminated and old tasting. I've always been a fan of Red Mango, but this one misses its mark by ten miles. There are lots of other froyo places in the area who value their patrons much more. read more
