The toppings and yogurt at this location are always full and ready but the service is normally horrible. I've never been greeted here even once and I've been at this location probably over 10 times. My most recent visit, the cashier was on her cell phone and made me feel like I was inconveniencing her by asking if I could have a banana cut up lol but if you've never had their yogurt, it's a must try. They have a good selection of fro-yo, lots of toppings, and they also have some good looking fruit bowls and smoothies. A little overpriced relative to other fro-yo establishments in the area. As with most fro-yo spots, it is self-serve and you pay based on the weight of your cup. The place is clean, service was good, and there is a good amount of comfortable seating. I went with the peanut butter, classic plain fro-yo, and a chocolate sorbet fro-yo. I was a little disappointed because they had no strawberry or regular chocolate, just a chocolate sorbet which tasted a little odd. Fruit toppings were fresh! Disappointed Red Mango had vacated Cross County Center Mall in Yonkers, I'd hoped this location would be a good nearby substitute. Wrong! (For several reasons.) This Red Mango's located in a gas station parking lot, shoehorned into a tiny strip mall between the gas station's Subway-convenience store and a sushi/grill restaurant. All of the establishments share a limited number of parking spaces, and I had to wait about 15 minutes to get a parking spot. I waited patiently, as I was jonesing for a peanut butter protein smoothie. But as it turns out, I should have gone elsewhere. The store's interior has ample seating, but the large family who owns the gas station uses it as a hangout and occupies most of the tables. The kids sitting at the tables were eating subway sandwiches, and one mother and her kid, who were eating dessert like concoctions, kept rudely reaching over me at the counter while I was ordering. Meanwhile, the adults sprawling at the tables interrupted the barrista (who's related to them) and me several times while I was ordering. None of them bothered to excuse him/herself. Clearly, they had little regard for this customer. Nonetheless, I still looked forward to a tasty smoothie. That expectation proved to be unfounded: the product I finally received had a watery consistency and off-putting taste. The barrista had botched the recipe. Possibly, she was distracted by her rude relatives, but this was the worst Red Mango smoothie I've ever been served. Total waste of my time and money. Final Grade: F- read more

I'm a fan of Red Mango - they do froyo justice by keeping it true to form. A lot of places seem to make froyo taste like soft serve ice cream but I applaud Red Mango for keeping it real. They have a good selection of flavors ranging from tart to sweet, and the selection changes periodically. The consistency is also good, it stays firm and isn't runny the second it comes out of the machine. Their topping selection is ample without being overwhelming. Like other Red Mangos, this one is decorated simply with mainly light colors and simple chairs, tables, and stools. I like bright colors in froyo places - it goes well with what they serve. My only gripe with this location is that it's located in a gas station parking lot next to their convenience store; it's a little off-putting. Great place to go on a warm spring or summer evening for a little treat =) read more

I'm far from a red mango expert I've only been to any of their locations a handful of times. It's a short walk from my place so anytime I want a fro-yo I can just walk there easily, it's in a gas station lot so there are a few parking spots available, compared to other locations this one is pretty small but there's a few spots to sit, staff here is always nice and the location is consistently clean, they have something like 10-12 flavors and I believe some of the flavors rotate, the toppings are self serve and the spoons are labeled so you know what is what, I've only tried the frozen yogurt but I know there are other things such as shakes, i like this location especially for its convenience and I'll be back eventually. read more

Just come out of the gym. Needed some good protein peanut butter shake. Staff was friendly and welcoming. The store is big and has a tv! I was able to watch the World Cup while enjoying my shake. The owner is very professional and interacts with customers, offering up samples and shaking hands. He owns the gas station and convenience store next to the shop. I've been to quite a few frozen yogurt places and compared to them, Red Mango doesn't have nearly enough of a variety of flavors or toppings. I was last there on an evening during the week and the floor definitely needed to be swept. Waited so long for this fun, do-it-yourself froyo joint to open. The staff is inviting, always greeted with a "welcome" and a smile. They always seem busy, and moving! There are 10s of toppings, something for everyone, and a nice, clean area to sit and enjoy your delicious creation. It's been quite busy this summer, and I have yet to see any froyo's or toppings "run out" in the evening when I make the Red Mango run with the kids. Haven't experienced it being messy at all, although I must admit I've accidentally dropped a strawberry or two in the blackberry toppings section...whooops! One word.....gross. First of all, the smell in the place when you walked in was horrible. It smelled like cleaning solution. We should have walked out at that first sign. After we spent over $20 for three yogurt cups, we realized the taste was horrific. My daughter and I got the Nutella and it was a watered down mess - no flavor whatsoever. This red mango is a great location! I visit frequently and it is always clean with great service. The yogurt of course is great but the juices are my fave!
