I have to say it's one of the best ramen places I've gone to I love love the food . This is a must to go place. The chef knows what he is doing everything is so flavorful well optioned and great presentation. Wish they had a more variety of drinks but the food over compensates for it.

Wow. I can't believe they have been in New Rochelle for SO LONG and I've never tried them. We went for book club and we were pleased! It's a smaller shop so it's expected that you might wait a bit for a table because there are no reservations! The food was great! I first got the Oxtail Bao buns and wow! A fusion HIT. The oxtail was tender and flavorful. The boa bun was light and airy. The sauce and plantain complimented the meat well. I originally order Jerk Chicken ramen but had to send it back because it was SPICY. It was 10000% my fault. I got the BBQ chicken ramen instead and it was more my speed! The Broth was flavorful and the eggs, scallions, corn, carrots, and nori were helped elevate the dish! My friends got the karaage (so crispy!!!) and dumplings (fried, classic). The service was a little slower once it got PACKED and had to be reminded a couple of times of our requests, but they were gracious and kind the whole time!!

Cool spot in downtown new rochelle. Its a Caribbean fusion on ramen. All the dishes have great flavors. I tried the rib tip ramen. Deep flavor and big serving. We also had the ox tail ramen which is good. The place has some tables and counter seating with good music in the background. Would def come back if im in the area.

I saw this place on Instagram and instantly added to my ""must try"" places... came here on a Sunday afternoon, parking was not hard since we found the last parking spot available right outside of Roc N Ramen. We were seated right away and the girl explained how is the process to order to us and offered drinks first... We shared some appetizers and had two entrees and everything was made to perfection!! Loved the combination of flavors and loved the size of each plate!!! Definitely a must try, specially for those who are acquainted with the Caribbean culture and love oxtail!! Such an interesting combination of flavors in their dishes, really loved it!!!

Now this is some elite ramen! It's packed with flavors that you don't get from traditional ramen however it's ramen but with an elevated palate. I definitely recommend coming here especially during this cold winter. I got extra spicy and it was a home run. Inside is cozy seating an we get to order via a QR menu so you don't have to actually interact with anyone. Awesome stuff A++

Went to Roc N Ramen last night to catch up with a friend over dinner. I haven't been here since the first opened around 12 years ago. We were seated almost immediately, so there was no wait. The restaurant had patrons but wasn't super crowded when we arrived. I will say that the space is cramped and doesn't leave much room for others to pass through. They are EXTREMELY busy in there with mostly mobile orders (about 60% being taken out of the restaurant). The service was just OK, honestly. Everything is done on the phone via QR code including ordering and payment. It's cool if you like that, but I'm old school. I need you to come and take my order from an actual menu. They had a dancehall mix playing from YouTube and I appreciated it being at an appropriate volume. On to the food: We wanted cocktails, but the bartender wasn't working, so none of those were available. The only alcoholic beverages available were cut waters, which we passed on. We started with the oxtail bao buns which were FIRE! They were absolutely delicious, tender, and flavorful. For the entree, I ordered the grilled shrimp rice bowl and my friend had oxtail ramen. My bowl was pretty tasty and the portion was large (probably enough for two meals). We waited around 25-30 mins for our main dish, which is too long in my opinion, but I chalked that up to the massive amount of mobile orders. Still not terrible timing considering. I'll DEFINITELY be back for those buns though!!!

This place had some really unique flavors for the ramen! I loved the fusion. The oxtail bao buns were really delicious. The oxtail was cooked really well. The space is small but they offer high table seating and regular seating. You can place your order through your phone and then they bring the food to the table.

DELICIOUS!! Whoever thought to combine Japanese and Jamaican cuisine together is a genius. My bbq jerk chicken ramen was filled with so many different flavors, but they meshed well together. The service was quick as well, and the waitress was very helpful. When I'm back in New York, I'll be back to try the bao buns.

Takes balls to blend two completely different cuisines.. Jamaican and Japanese? Nicely done. Ramen is very good here, and the service is quick and courteous. Space is clean, and this place is located in the heart of downtown NR. Is it perfect? No, but you'd be missing a great opportunity by not trying this place.

We came here because we wanted something warm after the big storm. The jerk ramen did not disappointed. Very delicious and filling I was even able to bring half home with me. The pork Gyoza was also very yummy. The service was great we sat right away and they checked on us throughout our time there. I had to ring the bell to let them know I loved the food. It's a casual spot with lots of culture.

Ordered from here for the first time today and I must say that I was very pleased! I have heard good things about this New Rochelle "Black Owned" business and I hope one day to actually visit the restaurant in person. So my review is based solely on a take out order. This restaurant fuses traditional Japanese fare with Jamaican/Caribbean flavors and they do it quite well!! My food arrived hot with no spills and my order was correct!! The owner even called me to make sure that I had everything and that everything was satisfactory. How many places do that?!?? I even received text messages to inform me of my courier's exact location! So tracking was easy! As for what I ordered...everything was delicious and the portions were good too. I ordered Karaage, which is strips of breaded white meat chicken served with scallions, a wedge of lemon and 2 dipping sauces. Good portion!! I also ordered a side of oxtail (very tender and well seasoned), steamed Gua Bao pork buns and Spicy Bone Yard Rib Tip Ramen. I opted for non-spicy because I didn't know how much "heat" they'd have. I also opted for the barbecue broth as opposed to the traditional Ramen broth. Very filling and I like that the broth is in its own container to add yourself. Just excellent all around and I definitely recommend this spot!

I never had Jamaican infused Japanese food, and I couldn't try this restaurant. When I arrived I parked on the street nearby. I walked in and was greeted. The place was small and cozy. I ordered with Nico, and he was great. I ordered: Merlot Rock n Punch Oxtail bao buns Curry shrimp ramen Curry chicken don bowl The food was delicious, especially the bao buns! I had a really good experience!

Omggggg the food here was amazing!!!!! The jerk chicken ramen was so good. I truly enjoyed it the next day as well. The perfect spice level. They do allow you to select temp. The oxtail boa was delicious. The sweetness of the plantain inside was chefs kiss. THE karaage with the bok choy was so good ! The bok choy having a crunch with the lemon squeezed on top was the perfect combo. I came a little close to the kitchen closing thinking I wouldn't have time to sit and they did still seat me. You order online with a QR tag. Great service, they checked on me often. The prices are super affordable as well. The location is small so I'm sure they do get packed, but I highly recommend you try this out. Great concoctions + prices ?! I'm sold!

Given that there is not many ramen shops in New Rochelle, I would consider coming back here. I also had a kimchi bao bun, and it was amazing. This is something I would consider coming back for. Shoutout to the staff, Jhosue, for supporting me as I navigated through the menu. He is knowledgeable about the popular items on the menu and even considers what kind of flavors I lean towards before making a recommendation. I appreciate the patients like the staff here. The scene is this somber night in the Japanese lights. It's a cool vibe and nice aesthetic. I enjoy the Japanese feel of the wall art and the moody lighting in the bar. This place would be fit for a casual dinner solo or with some friends. I am a harsh grader. Ani Ramen earns a 3atar from me because although the ramen was good, it was rather smaller than what I've seen in many other ramen shops. Additionally, I would be confident to say the ramen is average. The service was excellent, and the scene is calming in the dimmed bulbs.

I wish there were more locations of this in Manhattan. We made an order at the desk before we seated ourselves and for a Saturday evening, there was quite a bit of open tables which was great. I ordered the Szechuan Braised Beef Noodles and they were absolutely delicious. The noodles tasted a bit like ramen noodles but they were able to grab all the delicious and garlic flavored soup. I really appreciated the soft-boiled egg with its marinated egg whites. I also loved the big tender beef chunks as well. Overall, I really cannot wait to go back to Zhongzhong noodles and I hope that they open up more locations. I will say though that since I last went to the Roosevelt Island location, they have raised their prices quite a bit - maybe $2 or $3 per dish.

No frills, simple menu and the chef seemed exacting and totally focused on his craft. I ordered the original shoyu ramen with chasu and red spicy sauce, while wife had the Wafu Shoyu ramen with chicken. Mine was robust and had a clean taste, although I felt the broth was a bit light for my taste compared to some NYC joints. Wife's ramen had even more watery broth - I think because she ordered the "wafu" broth style which menu claimed had no meat, and together with lean chicken meat without much fat, we both agreed it was tad bit boring. I think it's a matter of chef's philosophy and not necessarily a bad thing, but I preferred a bit richer, more viscous broth than this one. We would stop by again if we're in the area, but won't go out of our way for it either. Still, a welcome addition to the East Bergen County area!

Thai Cookery Street Food has filled its spot, offering dine in, delivery, and pickup orders. Stepping inside of this high-class establishment with beautiful aesthetics that presented a well lite dining experience, through-out the restaurant, I found it to be a very relaxing and a welcoming environment. I was greeted and seated; the staff was very kind. I viewed the menu and chose Thai Crispy chicken rice bowl, the chicken satay, and a salad. The salad had a ginger dressing, and it was really tasty. I had the Satay chicken only because I tasted the Satay chicken at Boon Dee Moo Ka Ta. It tasted nothing like Boon Dee, so I found it the least and it was on the dry side, the Thai Crispy chicken was more on the bland side, but the jalapenos gave it a kick. This setting felt more like speed dating, instead it was speed eating. Everything was rushed and the timing of bringing out the food was way off; the food was brought out within minutes of each other. Maybe because it is Street Food, I mean, it's in the name.
