His initial consultation resulted in a very detailed consultation report with 4 options. His onsite work was AMAZING! We had a huge bamboo field that had become completely overgrown. In one and half days he and his team came in, removed all the bamboo, the fending, and raised beds. In it's place was a mulch field, left very neat and tidy. We were thrilled with the quality of the work, and the pricing was very reasonable for what we had done. On a personal level - David is a delightful person, and a pleasure to work with!

We talked more about my vision, colors, flowers I liked, etc. and I let them run with that and let their creativity run wild. What I got in result were florals and arrangements even more beautiful than I ever could have imagined! The pieces used for our ceremony were stunning, and I loved that we were able to have them moved during the reception to enjoy them even more! My bouquet (I believe it was made by Amanda) and my MOH bouquets were gorgeous. I wish I could have frozen them in time and kept them forever. I especially loved how they incorporated my favorite flower, peonies, into the bouquet and different table arrangements. I am deeply dissatisfied with my recent experience with Bull City Flowers. After utilizing an…read moreonline third-party service ForYouFlowers.com to order flowers, I requested a change to the delivery date. I promptly received confirmation of this modification via email. The following day, a courier informed me that the flowers had already been delivered to the apartment building lobby, providing a photograph as confirmation. I immediately contacted the courier, who verified online that the delivery date had indeed been changed. Bull City Flowers subsequently contacted me and acknowledged that they had received the updated schedule the previous day. However, management claimed they failed to notify the courier prior to the 9:00 AM pickup. To correct their error and reschedule the delivery, they requested an additional fee. When I spoke with the manager, he was uncooperative, citing weekend staffing shortages to justify the mistake. While I understand operational challenges, the business owner confirmed receipt of the schedule change a day in advance. The breakdown in communication between Bull City Flowers and their third-party partner and/or their courier is an internal operational issue. The financial burden of such logistics issues should not be passed on to the customer. Although the floral arrangement appeared lovely in the photograph, the customer service was disappointing.

How the heck does this place only have 3 stars?…read more I wanted to send happy birthday flowers to someone in Durham but I live in California. The Yelp reviews didn't cause any place to stand out but Google reviews were excellent for Art Floral. The web site was easy to use: I chose a bright combination and added a balloon. I was also able to schedule delivery date later in the week. On the day of scheduled delivery, they texted to tell me they were out of one flower and could they replace it with another. Yes, of course. When the bouquet was done, they texted me a couple of photos of the finished product. Beautiful. And to top it off, they texted me a photo of the bouquet being delivered. That's customer service. Fair price, excellent communication, and a beautiful bouquet. That's five stars.
