Already knew i would regret coming here after I saw the Grade Pending sign. Since I help out with my family business, I understand what that means. After the night was over, I looked them up on cleanchow and did not like what I saw. Thank god, I did not order any drinks. The hookah itself was not bad, ordered a mix of Melon and White Peach then had a Honey Dew. Came here with a group of 5 including myself, we all paid a little under $10.00 each. Very good option to hang out and relax in you live in the neighborhood. Although they lack selection in food and drinks, they have an extensive collection of shisha flavors, most of which are pretty good. The hookah flavors last longer than most hookah places and the service is good. I've had the opportunity to speak to some of the staff and they were really nice. I have been looking to contact the owner of this place for a few days. On the night of the 23rd of december at 10:30 -10:40 pm two illegal withdrawals from my bank account were made. Im not even near brooklyn. In total those transactions summed up nearly $500.00 which emptied all the savings I had. If the place has cameras, which they probably do, should be able to find out who was the person who made the bank withdrwals and either they know the person or they could do a refund to the account. read more

I've been wanting to try hookah for some time now and it finally happened. I went with two other people so it was a small hangout, we arrived at like 6:30 p.m ishh and that was a mistake because it was kinda empty.. But since it was our first time it saved us from embarrassment, but as it got later like 8-9:00 p.m more people showed up and the "DJ" played better music... The workers where nice, we kept asking questions and they helped us, we got used to inhaling the smoke, by the end of the night we didn't want to leave. I have been to this hookah lounge a few times and it's a pretty basic hookah lounge. There is not all of drinks on the menu beside coffee and stuff like that. The hookah is bad. For where it located it a decent hookah lounge. I don't recommend you come here if you don't have a large crowd of friends with you because it can get pretty boring. As far as food the menu is pretty basic, the music is also alright. In all honestly this hookah lounge is missing that wow factor and I'm surprise they still open. I don't recommend you come here if you looking for night of fun because you won't get it here but if you want just a chill quiet night then you might enjoyed it. This is my favorite hookah lounge in New York. The staff is extremely friendly and outgoing, they socialize with you and make your visit very much worth it. You have a variety of flavors to smoke from and the staff make the hookah perfectly fine, you can smoke the hookah smoothly. The atmosphere is very calm and chill I like the fact that the place is low key and not too crowded. I decided to to try this place out based on the reviews that it had. I want there with a friend on a Sunday night since we had nothing better to do. The hookah was good but I guess the purple haze that my friend picked wasn't meant for me it was smooth and everything but then it made me extremely nauseous. They could work on the drinks the drink I ordered a pink lemonade and got a cup of bland pink something with the sugar settled to the bottom. The lighting at the tables could be better also we had to use our phones to look at the menus and the owner came over to our table introduced him self to my friend and completely ignored me like I was chopped liver no offense taken tho. We went Thursday night, 10/23. We we're the first patrons there and received well by one of the brothers. They are very nice and you can tell that they know alot about hookah. We were dissapointed to find out that they don't serve alcohol, but they did recommend a bar about 6blocks away (which sucked but it's not their fault). We wanted fresh fruit, but they didn't have any prepared, so we settled for the ice hose. We did get a caramel frappe, which was ok at best. Our hookah soon began to pull hard and when we told him he waited on more tables before coming to us. He changed our coals, but it didn't help because our shishah had burned too the top. When I told him, I had to wait again because he was on the phone. So at that, we just paid and left. I'm sure it was just an isolated poor experience because they are truly nice guys. I'd give them another chance in the future, but this one wasn't impressive at all. True, the prices are great, but I'd pay more any day for a better experience. read more

Red mist is the best hookah place in Brooklyn!!!!! They have strong flavors, fruit bowls for the hookah are also an option and the man who replaces the coals is always vigilant. They have an A for their food inspection grade which is a huge plus. The appetizers are really good especially the Kati roll and the naan with hummus. read more

Been there a few times now and it was always alright. Today we came in to hang out again and the place was empty except for another group. We ordered our hookah and proceeded to wait...5...then 10 minutes. A few other people came in and ordered. 5 minutes later they had their hookahs and we were still waiting. We waited 20+ minutes in an empty lounge for a hookah that never came and watched others get theirs ahead of us. Will not be returning. Do not recommend.
