My go to hookah spot in Forest Hills. Great music, good hookah. Fast services. Typical bar food menu, I'm usually coming from or going to dinner so I've never eaten here. Late night it gets pretty busy, usually a line. Time limit for tables.

I'm here on a Tuesday and it's a dope vibe. Great for small parties or couples. Very intimate. The waitress is very attentive, I appreciate great service so much lol. I'm drinking the Passionate White Sangria and it is so light and refreshing. The music is great. The ambiance is ambiancing as f. Definitely will be back here for some more chill vibes during the week.

Had a great time, arrived a little late around 12:30-1am after prior engagements but it was a good time!.The dj was ahhmaze , kept the vybe going for the remainder of the time that we were there...didn't give a 5 star due to the kitchen closing so early. We arrived with enough time to order but with waiting to be seated(which wasn't long) and the hostess coming back to us for us then having to move (per our request) to a larger seating area to accommodate all of us , it was 1am and the kitchen closed at 12:45:(.. I will certainly return!.

Happy hour until 6pm!! A little pricy but I haven't seen /heard any dislikes or frowned up faces after the meal. I'm more on a liquid diet!!! Service is standard and attentive. great easy local spot. They have hookah options as well.

My bestfriend and I stopped by for Hookah after having dinner at Mojo down the street. Before walking in the DJ already had the 90's -00's on point, which made us really want to walk in. We had a love 66 to start bc they had a 90 limit on tables they got watermelon mint & both were smooth a flavorful. Can't remember out servers name but he was really nice and attentive to our needs. Great service and would be my go to spot in forest hills

I cannot complain about one thing. First of all , I came here on a Friday afternoon with my sister Janet. We ordered happy hour drinks and hookah. The music, the service & the scenery is all a vibe. Our waiter was super attentive, friendly & nice. For my first time being there , my experience was great. I will definitely be back!

    A ROACH

ROACH!! ROACH!! ROACH!! Where do I start... My friend and I found this place(718 bar and grill) on IG and it looked great so we decided to go for happy hour. We ordered a hookah, mojitos, fries, wings and quesadillas. Our food came out in 5-10 mins and everything was going great until I looked down in my half eaten quesadilla and saw a freaking ROACH!! The roach was fried into the food and I lost my mind. I started throwing up cause I could only imagine if I had only ate it. Then I started to throw up more cause I knew that my food was cooked in the same oil that this ROACH was cooked in. I wanted to cry!!! Actually I did cry! I called our waiter over and he just had this stunned face stating he don't know how this happened and it's never happened before blah blah blah... I was too distraught to listen to anything he had to say. This was absolutely ridiculous, terrifying, and unacceptable. I am appalled and still traumatized!! If I could give it 0 starts I would have.

    Patron Mojito

Went to this establishment about a week ago and I must say it's definitely a vide. The music was good the drinks especially the patron mojito was good!! We ordered the sampler which was good the wings are really good the hummus is seasoned and really good as well. The portions are good and the hookah was okay. It's definitely a cool after work spot in queens, I enjoyed visiting the spot and I'm actually opened to coming back.

Ask the Community - 718 Hookah Lounge & Grill

Just wanted to verify before I attempt to go to Queens. Is there outdoor seating available now (given the circumstances)?

Good afternoon, yes we are currently open with outdoor seating only.

What kind of music do they play ? is it a mix or specific type?

It's usually a mix of hip-hop, reggaeton, dancehall, r&b. The music and vibe is always good at this spot.

    18 or 21 for hookah?

    21

    What are the bottle prices?

Don't think they have bottle service. table service i believe has a time limit of 2 o 3 hours.

Do you have to pay to get in?

    $30 for a standard hookah. $40 for an exotic/exclusive hookah. & $50 for a specialty hookah.

    21 + or no?

    yes

How is the music in there on Saturday?

Great! We have a great mix of Hip-Hop, Reggaeton and much more.

    Is there a dress code?

No dress code that I know of. It's very lax. Not sure about guys with hats.

I was curious if this place was a restaurant, a bar, or a lounge. I would say this place is definitely a lounge. The vibe was great, very chill and unpretentious. The drinks were on point and the food was delicious! Their menu is more finger foods and decent bites if you plan to drink. I would like to see 1 or 2 more food menu items added but everything we had was very very good. We had the sampler and it was perfect for us. The DJ was everything! The music was so good. Old school early 2000's hip hop and r&b. But I hear on any given night, the music goes to the vibe of the crowd. The service was fantastic. We had everything we needed and the wait staff was attentive. I will absolutely be coming back here! They have great happy hour during the weekdays and a brunch I want to check out. 10/10 so far.

I ordered the short ribs and the five-onion soup again, and both were excellent. The service was spot-on and impressively quick--my food arrived in under 15 minutes. The owner is also really cool; he personally greets guests and makes a point of chatting with the performers to ensure they're comfortable. This is a wonderfully romantic spot. The beautiful flowers add such a nice touch (as I mentioned in my previous review). The floral displays are fun and are probably the highlight of the visit. The space is clearly designed for photos, and I can see why it would be popular for birthdays, showers, or other special occasions. They seem to go the extra mile when it comes to creating a celebratory atmosphere. Service was excellent from start to finish. The staff at reception and at the table were attentive, friendly, and welcoming. Food-wise, we tried the Kung Pao calamari and wagyu meatballs after seeing other reviewers rave about them, but both felt a little gimmicky to me. Our group mostly stuck with more traditional brunch items, including breakfast burritos and omelettes, and those were fine. Overall, I would not necessarily come here just for the food, but I would recommend it for the atmosphere, service, and special-occasion vibe. It is a great spot if you want a pretty setting, good hospitality, and plenty of photo-friendly areas.

I've been wanting to check this place out ever since I heard about the rebranding from Metro Taco…read more I had only been here once before and remembered really enjoying the food, so my fiancé and I decided to finally go for a Friday night date night and very happy we did. We tried to make reservations for 6:30pm, but it gave us an error message that the time had been taken already, so I was assuming that the restaurant would be packed, but it was the opposite when we walked in. There were only two other people there. So I would definitely look into their reservations system. For drinks, I went for the mango margarita. 10/10 recommend the drinks. My margarita was delicious. their cocktail menu looks super fun, they have drinks that come out in little bathtubs and cute presentations. For food, we shared the ahi tuna tostada appetizer which was so good! super fresh and flavorful. For our mains, I got the chicken al pastor tacos (loved the flavors, especially the avocado crema) and he ordered the carne asada tacos, which were also packed with flavor. Portion-wise, for the price, you get three tacos, so it felt very reasonable. The tacos were definitely a hit for both of us. The only small downside was the service towards the end. everything started out great, but once we were done, it took a while to actually get the check and pay. Kinda funny how it took longer to leave than it did to get served. Not a huge deal, but just something to keep in mind if you're on a schedule..they definitely don't rush you out.
