I love this waterpark! So huge, they have lifeguards everywhere, enough enough space and chairs for everyone. We were here on Sunday and not a lot of people. They have a pool where you can float on those tubes and they create waves there, splash park which is great and slides. River wasn't working. A lot of bbq areas, big umbrellas and tents, vending machine and snack station. You can get a west there. Bathrooms in each area clean and nice. Employees are friendly. We bought tickets online so instead of $20 and is $17 and they email them to you and you just show barcodes at the entrance. We will be back.

So grateful for red oaks! You're nice and near to me. Friendly watchful staff, always super observant which is super important to me becuz my little ones are sooo naughty!!! Everythings here! The lazy river for the laid back, the lil kiddie playful area with the massive bucket that drenches you for the munchkins, the wave pool for everybody and then the water slides for the daring folks. I'm always happy at Red Oaks! The prices are so great. Check their website for details! The park is very clean, lots of seating scattered around the entire park! You can get your kids a life jacket if you need to sometimes the wave pool is more fun with one. The lady's bathroom is also so so so clean each time I've gone. I do so many trips to red oaks I'm sure they know our faces by now lol

Don't bring your portable grill. It's not allowed. Overall it's good outdoor water park in city area.

The day we came their internet was down so if you didn't have cash or buy tickets in advance you couldn't get in. The park was clean and well maintained and there's a ton of attractions to explore. Totally affordable and very local. I can't wait to take my little guy back here again. Grab a cabana!

This place was fantastic!…read more The tip I got and would pass on is to purchase your tickets online. The longest wait was to get into the parking lot, despite signs saying they were at capacity with the exception of online tickets. Everything was magnificent! They have lifejackets available. Bring your own chairs if you want a place to put your stuff and all the lawn chairs are taken. They have tubes to use for the wave pool and lazy River. Outside food is not allowed but I would recommend finding a way to bring it in because I would have purchased meals for my family at the concession stand but there were long lines all day and once it finally died down I realized why... they ran out of all the food-food (they still had bags of chips). If you're not going to allow outside food, you need to be able to accommodate guests! Yes, they allow you to leave and come back same-day but do I really want to get in my hot car where my skin sticks to the seats, while wearing a wet bathing suit just to find the closest fast food? No, not really. I would rather pack sandwiches and leave in the car or whatever. Plenty of people brought grills to set up outside the gates, so I would consider that in the future. There are so many awesome things about this place, that I look forward to returning next year!

The friend we were meeting is a local so she was able to get a reservation for the 11am-1pm time slot, which is apparently reserved for locals. It wasn't too crowded and was the perfect activity for a very hot summer day. My 6 year old was a bit fearful of the giant bucket of water that pours on your head at first, although by the end of the 2 hours he was standing under it welcoming it. My 9 year old and his friend jumped right in and couldn't get enough of all the slides and water fun. They were probably some of the older kids there, but still young enough to enjoy the fun. There's also a more babyish area to the side for younger kids who aren't into the slides and giant bucket. They also get 5 stars for cleanliness, including the bathrooms and changing rooms. I had to show out my coffee when we arrived since no food or drink is allowed inside the gate, but that's probably how they manage to keep it so clean. My sons are asking when we can go to Michigan just to go to this again so I can imagine if we were locals we would be there quite a bit.

Someone left a melted ice cream in a vending machine and no one had cleaned it all day. Half of the arcade games were broken. No paper towels/toilet paper in the bathrooms. The bar/restaurant didn't open until 2pm, and there was only one bartender, so no "dedicated server" was available in the cabana area. No Gluten Free options for food at the snack shack; no menu to order from at the Bar/"restaurant"; and you're not allowed to bring in any outside food/beverages, which was an issue since my daughter has Celiac Disease and cannot have anything with Gluten. And the ventilation was basically non-existent. The amount of chlorine in the air made it difficult to breathe to the point where I got sick and was coughing non-stop until I was able to walk outside (this has never happened to me at an indoor waterpark before). I will say the lifeguards, bartender, gentleman in the snack shack, and gentleman at the sales counter were all very friendly and helpful. The actual slides, lazy river, and kids play area were fun and seemed to be in good condition. I doubt we will be back based on the considerations for food and the air quality, but if you don't have any issues with those or the lack of cleanliness, you might be alright.

Water Park Review:…read more This was by far the most disgusting water park I have ever been to, and frankly it was a death trap. my children (3 and 5), my sister and I took them for the day on January 2nd after they had been marked as closed for two days. The opening employee, sorry I forgot their name, was very nice. But immeditely you go into the bathroom to use it before playing in water and dear god, if my kids could understand we would have left immediately even AFTER dropping $50 per person. The ground was littered with dirty towels, toilet paper rolls, toilet paper, sanitary napkins, and who know what else. Out of the five toilets available, 4 of them were back up and many had stains I couldn't identify. After that the biggest concern and major issue is that there was a single lifeguard for the entire area. The young man stayed in his chair on his phone by the door for almost the entire time. The exception was when he had a spray bottle and walked into the WOMEN'S CHANGING ROOM. NO KNOCK, NO SIGN, NOTHING!!! And guess what, when we went to rinse and leave later, nothing was cleaned after his little "visit". The white grates that allows water to drain break if you step on them and my daughter almost fell through. There was no staff at the top or bottom of the slides including the huge tube slide. The slide in which my son and I fell off, hit our heads on the way out. I was able to hold him up and keep him safe, but what if I had gotten hurt worse!? How was there nobody at the bottom?! DO NOT EVER GO HERE!!

One of the posts said that this is because of the amount of geese that have been frequenting the lake this year or because of runoff from rain. The swimming area went deep enough that we could float away from the littles on the shoreline. There were two life guards on duty. They have really amazing facilities where a get together was being held under the pavilion. They have a snack station, but we brought our own chips and sodas. They also have a splash pad with water slides. This area was closed when we went, and you have to pay a little more to access this area. They also have some cool trails and a frisbee golf course. They also tore down the family slide over the winter. That was our favorite ride! Loved it! It was getting too old and too expensive to maintain. On the bright side. I like the tropical palm tree theming of the wave pool. They had plenty of tubes and we had a blast splashing around. The dump bucket area is still there, and the kids get a thrill counting down to the next dump of water. Today they had a zip line, and it was not extra. It was included in the price of entry. During the week it is $8 for all which is a great deal. During the weekend they offer a discount to Oakland county residents. The zip line was amazing fun, perfect for small kids through adults. The food looks and smells enticing like an amusement park. The pricing is very good. You can also bring in your own food, but no glass or alcohol. People often bring in fast food, or food to bbq. They have grills. I come here at least once a summer. I hope they will be able to build a new attraction. The slide was a great loss. They also seem to be having staffing issues. During the month of June they were only opened until 3:00. They seemed to have resolved that issue. We look forward to coming back.

The Whoa Zone is perfect for every age. They have 3 distinct areas, one for toddlers, and two for tweens/teens to adults. While you wait for your jump time, you can visit the playground nearby or play in the water. One thing that you should know in advance...you will pay for an hour and jump for 50 mins. Five minutes of the extra 10 mins is used for a safety training. I am sure it explained all of that on the website when I bought the jump times, but I was taken by surprise when I got there. Again, could have been my mistake, just thought I would point it out. With all that said, 50 mins was plenty for my kiddo. If you have younger or more timid kiddos, I suggest reserving an early jump time since they are less popular and will give them plenty of space to get comfortable. The jump times after lunch are pretty packed. Overall, he had a great time and the lifeguards are very alert and aware. The cost is not crazy in comparison to other kids entertainment. We paid full price for a jump slot and if you purchase another slot later, like after lunch. It is half price. Two slots is plenty. We will be back next summer!
