I had such a great time here I could go on for hours!!! You get an hour to play on the inflatable water park which is actually a really long time considering you're using all of your upper body strength to climb these structures. You can also pay for more time if an hour isn't enough for you. You're provided with a life jacket which you have to keep on, and there are life guards stationed on all structures which made our group feel safe. The beach is bigger than I expected, and even though it was packed there was still enough space on the beach, and lawn to distance yourself. Make sure you bring your own food and drinks because the snack booth is pricey, and the portions are small. They also don't have condiments. If you don't want to go on the inflatable structures they also have kayaking, and paddle boarding which was inexpensive. I can't wait to come back!!

Thinking of taking the kids for some FUN today!

What's NOT to like about this place!?! It's a GIANT inflatable island on the WATER!! Imagine all the best bounce houses you've ever seen. Place them out on a super clean lake at Bald Recreation Park. Add a TON of people (safely all wearing life jackets). And you have the MOST EPIC summer FUN imaginable!! But seriously- this place is a MUST if you, your kids or anyone you know loves the water and obstacles courses. There are monkey bar, trapeze bars, swings, climbing walls, rope swings, balance beams, and numerous slides just to name a few options out on the floating island! Here's the deal: you can go out for 1 hour at the cost of $16, 2 hours gets you a better deal at $27, and if you come right at opening at 11am, is only $12 for the hour. They run Happy Hour deals, which is the last hour of the day. The pricing is as follows M-Th 6pm and F-Sun 7pm at the low price of only $12 for the final hour of the day. Prices are obviously per person, and all prices are valid for adults and kids alike. I highly recommend the 2 hour block because 1 hour goes by way too fast and there's so much to do out on the island. You really need the full 2 hours to be able to really experience all of it. Take note that the time blocks are every hour on the hour. So say if you arrive at 12:15pm, you can't go out until the 1pm time block. Also, print out and fill out the waiver form at home before coming. It will save you time and chaos from having to do it here. Again, life jackets are provided and yes, you must wear them at all times. Safety 1st, especially considering there can be up to 80 people out there at one time. At least that was the case when we were here the 1st time. Today we arrive for the 1pm block (2 hours block til 3pm) and there only about 40 people going out on the island. Earlier seems to be less busy than later in the day. Cash and credit cards are accepted on site, or you can pick your time and pay online. Bring your towels, pack a lunch and snack and definitely beverages to stay hydrated. The beach is clean and beautiful. There are plenty of picnic tables and green grass to lay blankets on. There are even grills to light up some charcoal on to cook. Bathrooms and showed on site too, circa 1970s- kinda scary. This place is truly EPIC FUN! If you haven't been here yet- I highly recommend! But you gota love water and a challenge! This will be in a regular ration of things to do in the summertime!

I really enjoyed my time at water Warrior Island! The water was warm and the staff is friendly. The facility was very safe and the attractions were fun to use. This is a place for some great family fun. The price is also very reasonable.

They also tore down the family slide over the winter. That was our favorite ride! Loved it! It was getting too old and too expensive to maintain. On the bright side. I like the tropical palm tree theming of the wave pool. They had plenty of tubes and we had a blast splashing around. The dump bucket area is still there, and the kids get a thrill counting down to the next dump of water. Today they had a zip line, and it was not extra. It was included in the price of entry. During the week it is $8 for all which is a great deal. During the weekend they offer a discount to Oakland county residents. The zip line was amazing fun, perfect for small kids through adults. The food looks and smells enticing like an amusement park. The pricing is very good. You can also bring in your own food, but no glass or alcohol. People often bring in fast food, or food to bbq. They have grills. I come here at least once a summer. I hope they will be able to build a new attraction. The slide was a great loss. They also seem to be having staffing issues. During the month of June they were only opened until 3:00. They seemed to have resolved that issue. We look forward to coming back.

The friend we were meeting is a local so she was able to get a reservation for the 11am-1pm time slot, which is apparently reserved for locals. It wasn't too crowded and was the perfect activity for a very hot summer day. My 6 year old was a bit fearful of the giant bucket of water that pours on your head at first, although by the end of the 2 hours he was standing under it welcoming it. My 9 year old and his friend jumped right in and couldn't get enough of all the slides and water fun. They were probably some of the older kids there, but still young enough to enjoy the fun. There's also a more babyish area to the side for younger kids who aren't into the slides and giant bucket. They also get 5 stars for cleanliness, including the bathrooms and changing rooms. I had to show out my coffee when we arrived since no food or drink is allowed inside the gate, but that's probably how they manage to keep it so clean. My sons are asking when we can go to Michigan just to go to this again so I can imagine if we were locals we would be there quite a bit.

The Whoa Zone is perfect for every age. They have 3 distinct areas, one for toddlers, and two for tweens/teens to adults. While you wait for your jump time, you can visit the playground nearby or play in the water. One thing that you should know in advance...you will pay for an hour and jump for 50 mins. Five minutes of the extra 10 mins is used for a safety training. I am sure it explained all of that on the website when I bought the jump times, but I was taken by surprise when I got there. Again, could have been my mistake, just thought I would point it out. With all that said, 50 mins was plenty for my kiddo. If you have younger or more timid kiddos, I suggest reserving an early jump time since they are less popular and will give them plenty of space to get comfortable. The jump times after lunch are pretty packed. Overall, he had a great time and the lifeguards are very alert and aware. The cost is not crazy in comparison to other kids entertainment. We paid full price for a jump slot and if you purchase another slot later, like after lunch. It is half price. Two slots is plenty. We will be back next summer!

The longest wait was to get into the parking lot, despite signs saying they were at capacity with the exception of online tickets. Everything was magnificent! They have lifejackets available. Bring your own chairs if you want a place to put your stuff and all the lawn chairs are taken. They have tubes to use for the wave pool and lazy River. Outside food is not allowed but I would recommend finding a way to bring it in because I would have purchased meals for my family at the concession stand but there were long lines all day and once it finally died down I realized why... they ran out of all the food-food (they still had bags of chips). If you're not going to allow outside food, you need to be able to accommodate guests! Yes, they allow you to leave and come back same-day but do I really want to get in my hot car where my skin sticks to the seats, while wearing a wet bathing suit just to find the closest fast food? No, not really. I would rather pack sandwiches and leave in the car or whatever. Plenty of people brought grills to set up outside the gates, so I would consider that in the future. There are so many awesome things about this place, that I look forward to returning next year!
