I have been going to this location for 20+ years with my sisters and mom. I have had multiple hit and misses but today after I got my eyebrows done, I felt a burning sensation on both of my eyes. After seeing some burns from the wax, I told the girl in the front that I had burns on my eyebrows that were not there earlier. I never got a sorry, but instead "would you like to pay with cash or card". After paying for my service and even tipped the waxer, I asked to speak with the owner. I left my number and received a call from the owner, Kary. She asked me to send pictures of the issue. She told me that I had sun burns on my face and sled if I went to the beach. She continued to tell me that it does not look like there was any burns. When I told her that I did not go to the beach, or have sunburns, she continued to tell me that I had. I told her that I would not be returning and just post my experience. She said that she will just post my pictures that I sent her in response. I asked her to delete MY photos that I took on my personal phone and sent her in confidence, she continued to refuse and said "it's my proof". She continued to refuse to delete the photos and said that her employees said I have caused problems before. I only come here in a blue moon when I'm in the area and have never had an issue. Just don't waste your time and avoid at all cost. It seems like new ownership does not care about the experience. read more

Came in for a pedicure and was given the menu. I chose the middle level, but then partway through was told they didn't have the "orange" products. I needed to choose another level and took a chance on the more expensive one. The gal started the timer for the massage and then walked away to get the hot stones. I came in to get a full set done, and unfortunately, the experience was extremely unpleasant. An older male nail technician worked on my nails, and he was incredibly rough throughout the process. While removing my cuticles with an electric nail tool, the speed was way too high and he ended up cutting every single one of my fingers. I expressed my discomfort and let him know he was hurting me, but he simply brushed it off, saying "it's okay, just a little bit." When it came time to apply the powder, he rushed through the process--placing it without properly letting it adhere. It felt very careless and unprofessional. I initially planned to get a French tip design, but I changed my mind because I didn't feel confident paying extra for something that might not turn out well, based on how things were going. Overall, I was very disappointed--not just in the quality of the work, but in how physically uncomfortable and painful the experience was. Despite the technician cutting my fingers and the poor service, I was only given a $5 discount. It's now been just a week since I had my nails done, and they already look worn out. I started doing my nails again, and was pleasantly surprised that the salon had a remodel including new spa chairs. Their manicure and services also got an upgrade, very spa like. I usually get my nails done no problem but unfortunately today that couldnt have got done. I asked for a french tip on my toes and they made it very difficult. When i said that i get acrylic dip on my toes for the base they said "no its fine you dont need it" and completely just ignored me. They were really aggressive when working on my feet and literally chipped off the acrylic on my toe and didnt even care to add another acrylic. The lady who did my hands was doing a french tip and when i asked her to make them more sharper she said okay then continued to make them round but longer. I paid for an initial on my nail which was supposed to be visible but when they did it you can barely even see it unless u shine a bright light on it and look real good at it. The lady doing my feet then stopped midway removed all the nail polish and said she was gonna have another person do it. I love going here for a good pedicure with basic polish. I've been to way too many places that rush through the pedicure and barely look at your nails when cleaning them. I don't know what they charge compared to others but I'd rather pay more for a relaxed experience than a rushed low quality one. read more

My 11 year old daughter and I went here today 7/21/24, we called around a few spots to ask about the wait time for a walk in for 2 pedicures & Red Persimmon was the nicest over the phone so we decided to give them a try. When we arrived they were super nice in person Amy & Lani did a wonderful job, they took their time and made us feel so comfortable. I decided to go here today for my first time because I just needed a change. I haven't been very happy with my nails lately. I was lucky enough to get a very nice lady named Amy to do my full set of acrylics. I went with the intention of doing gel X, but she talked me into acrylics because I wanted, a couple of clear nails with butterflies on them. Something I seen on the Internet and fell in love with it, she bent over backwards to make me happy and to make sure that everything was perfect. I ask her please not to file underneath my nails because it takes the curve away and I specifically like curved nails, she did everything I ask and was fun to talk to, and I am extremely happy with how they came out. I will be returning to this nail salon and trying a few of their other services also, thank you Amy. Went in to get a dip so my nails would look nice for my birthday next week. I sat for 2 hours and paid $50 plus tip and I'm not very happy with how they look at all. The top coat is bunching up around the edges and they just look sloppy overall with dip powder caked on skin where it shouldn't be. For the upscale prices this salon charges, they should put more focus into the quality of their jobs versus trying to help every single person that walks through the door. It just cost me $50 for the worst pedicure ever., Put feet in cold water and then added warmer after I say whoa, cold. Didn't do cuticles even though asked twice and told not yet yes not yet. Did callus and only did heel and two swipes. Came with and full of lotion and slopped, yes slopped on couple patches on legs, no smooth or spread over area and just wrapped Then nail polish, it didn't dry mostly cause put to much acetone in top coat to use more...what?.. my color is blue and she messed up and my big toes bluish hue now. My nails feel ruff. Polish not smooth at all...I'm soooo upset. I really looked forward as it had been months and it was quick, messy and frustrating. I've been coming here for a while now for my pedicures and acrylic nails. The service has always been average at best, but today's rush job was really disappointing. I always book my appointments in advance and it's really unfair that they rush through it in order to get to the next customer. The quality of my pedicures have never been great, but I only wear sandals on the weekend, so whatever, but expect my nails to look nice, although it's just a gel set with no designs. My nail tech, "C", was in such a rush that she hit my cuticles more than once with the sanding tool (ouch!) and the rest of her work on my nails was just tacky. I always, always, leave a tip, but if I decide to go back and the quality of their work isn't on point they won't be getting a tip or a return customer. I knew going in that they only had 2 1/2 stars on Yelp, now they have shown me why that's the case.
