We were in town and stopped by with a large party. Huge portions, delicious food and excellent service! Highly recommend!

Our food was incredible and the service was friendly, efficient, knowledgeable. The quinoa salad is fantastic. Hamburger was perfect. The small cake desserts are perfect for sharing. We picked the German chocolate cake to share. My ice tea was refilled promptly. The decor is cute and tastefully done. Everything about our lunch was 5 star!

The restaurant smells weird. But our server was amazing, and we didn't have to wait long for great food.

Our server was Annie and she said it was her 3rd day. She was super friendly and had a nice smile, was comfortable with the menu and taking our orders. You could tell they were understaffed but I think that is everywhere now so definitely no judgement there. Ordered the country fried steak and eggs, which is always my favorite meal anywhere. Our food came out timely and looked amazing. Tasted great too, definitely would come back.....and my 14 yr old loved the music.

Delicious. I had the turkey, ham, avocado croissant sandwich with sweet potato fries. The fries are thick cut. The price is good.

"Am I in the right place?" I had to ask myself--'cuz this is almost the Denny's I remember. I know…read morethat sounds a bit confusing, but the Denny's I remember--slipped away. I lived the Denny's of old through its days of bustling $1.99 slams, when families would come and thoroughly feast on the delicious, high-quality, and extravagant menu. 9 to 5-ers were often stopping daily for that cheap and hearty start to their day. Night owls came to hang out with friends, and together devour a pie or two. With coffee cups constantly tilting back while laughing and celebrating through till dawn. Yep, I remember that Denny's, so it's been kinda sad to live through the quality, gatherings, and smiles slipping away into a lonely and forgotten--unconsidered diner. Heck, just recently our Denny's here at home in IF closed down, along with close to 200 other locations nationwide. Being honest, the last few times that I'd tried Denny's over the past couple of decades had been complete and utter disappointments. Lately my other half and I have been trying to branch out from our established eatery safety-zone. This means traveling from home as far as an hour or more to try places we've never been, or trying again. So, knowing Denny's as a thing of the past, imagine my surprise when we located one in Rexburg. I kept double-checking both Search and Maps, to make sure neither of them had changed their mind--a Denny's really does exist in Rexburg--it's true. While we were hesitant to try it, we were also hopeful for something that we remember from long ago--so here we go! Arriving at the fabled Denny's, the first thing I noticed was a long stretch of tree-lawn before entering a parking lot big enough to hold a convoy of buses. It was obvious by its larger than average architecture, this building was made special to handle the crowds of a university town. While thinking to myself "this is a big Denny's," I opened the door with the fresh and bright logo. Woww, was all my inner thoughts could muster for a moment while I scanned around the room looking for something familiar--nothing! The Denny's of old was bright and shiny yellow, and its larger than life building sign would emit a glow that lit up the parking lot--Its neon beaming into the night. Booth seating and counter seating, both saw their fair share of patrons--and it was awesome! This new Denny's--is a complete and total redesign--and it is stellar! Dimmer lighting, darker wood panels,--Denny's still has the counter seating, andddd one piece of neon that I did notice. Take into account here that I am a little color blind, but like yellow filaments glowed from inside red bulbs, creating a sharp, lit up display that spells out the word Rexburg. From a dark chestnut-colored wall, it charms the eyes--and it is handsome. Okay, we didn't come here to look, we came here for table service and to eat! We both started off with coffee, which our server, Danika, brought back promptly. Perfectly placed cups and the pot held high, she happily and easily engaged in conversation while her muscle memory showed off streaming liquid gold without losing a drop. I'm not even sure she was looking at the cups while she poured--young girl--seasoned pro. We take a little while to order (usually cuz I'm too distracted looking around and snapping pics), but Danika made it easy, refilling our mugs and treating us like old friends when she'd stop by. It wasn't slow in there either. There were two servers, including Danika, lighting up the place with a fresh and youthful energy. The other girl, I'll just call her Penny, cuz that's about how big she is--itty bitty little thing trotting around in there--with her ponytail bouncing and waving at everyone every time she passed by. Her brilliant smile beamed while she zipped to and from the host station, seating yet another customer. The place was filling up with happy, laughing and smiling customers--this is starting to feel familiar. Denny's of old got to where your host, like a zombie, led you to your table. Today's customers are enjoying staff who seem to truly like their jobs. Danika circled around keeping her customers happily entertained with smart and fun conversation, refilling drinks while waiting for their food. Now everyone's heard that loud call out "order up!" causing the servers to rush the window hoping for their order. Today's chef, Eddie, runs his kitchen smarter--"20 up!" tells servers exact table numbers. When I say Eddie the chef, he might not have created the dishes, but he has sure mastered them. Strawberry and cinnamon crumb pancakes, eggs, sausage, bacon, nachos, a milkshake--we got a lot, and all of it scrumptious! It's comfortable and beautiful, the service is a newly energized and improved creation. Eddie's food is his passion--welcome back Denny's, you've grown up! I can't believe it--Danika, Eddie, "Penny," and Denny's crew-- high rating Super-scale 8.5* Come see for yourself.

I ordered a salad and I know what you're thinking, who orders a salad at Denny's. But most of the lettuce was brown and my cucumbers soggy. We ordered the Oreo brownie for dessert and it tasted like a protein brownie. Not a compliment. But what am I gonna do, eat at Applebee's? Yeah right. Oh and the sign is spelt wrong.

We were served by the best server that I have had in a very long time, years even. I dine out at least ten times a month and our server knocked it out of the park on every level. His name was Matt and his service and attention to detail were second to none. He greeted us with a smile and was very kind. We were looking for recommendations and he had a few with very detailed descriptions of them. My wife had something on her taste bud craving radar and Matt was able to guide her to what he believed would be the best choice for what she was looking for. She ordered his recommendation and was spot on with what she was after. Our drinks were always full and every little thing we requested was given to us in a timely manner. When it came to dessert, Matt once again had a very great recommendation that we ordered and enjoyed. Food: Great Service: Best Ever Atmosphere: Great Cleanliness: Great I recommend the Applebee's in Rexburg and definitely recommend that you request Matt as your server. You cant miss him, he is as tall as the ceiling.

Have gone a couple times because I was invited and there is nothing on the menu that is good or won't hurt your stomach! And each time the waitress wasn't doing their job correctly. The last time I went (last week), the waitress handed out the receipts 10 minutes after we received our food and was hurrying us out. So unprofessional! Last time going there, idc if I get invited. It's a hard pass! Too many bad experiences time after time. A waist of time, money, and peace.
