Horrible experience, had high hopes from the reviews. I only write reviews when needed. We ordered 2 exact same meals, and even gave the young girl working a tip. Tell me why we waited 30 mins for her to assemble our dish, when everything was already made and packaged? She forgot the sauce we ordered on top of that and took another 20 minutes to bring those out. Horrible customer service aside, the brisket was literally cold and rock solid, so much that you can see the solidified fat within the meat. I honestly left sick and never wanting to eat again. It was our first time at Park's Place Smokehouse & we'll definitely be back. We ordered a brisket meal and it was so good! The flavor on the brisket was unmatched -- and we've been to almost every bbq spot in town. I do wish the brisket was smoked a little longer. The fat cap was still slightly chewy. It was a great deal for the price! The coleslaw and chili were yummy and I don't even like coleslaw. The chili has a great flavor as well but there were way too many beans for my liking. OMG!! This place is amazing. I'm just traveling through and stopped in Rexburg to resupply and grab a quick bite. I saw this place on yelp and thought it was worth trying something unique, and I'm so glad I did. It's off the beaten path next to a bunch of food trucks. I had the pig wreck burrito and also ordered the brisket mac & cheese to go. Both were exceptionally good. Unique but really good. It's a little hard to find. Small but mighty! This smokehouse puts out some delicious food. I tried the wagyu brisket, ribs and sausage. Sausage was good as it wasn't too salty but tasted flavorful. The ribs were also very good but not your typical ribs, but more like a slab of meat with some bones. The best was the Wagyu brisket that was delicious and fell apart with a fork. Also extra flavor was the smoke sauce. Aaron the owner of course wouldn't discuss the secret but a real nice guy friendly and informative. No way I could finish, so I have a very savory midnight snack. Oh and I had a side of slaw which was good and had an extra spice to it, but I felt it needed more dressing. read more

This place is incredible!! We were passing through on a road trip and found this place on Find Me Gluten Free. Google took us down a side ride and we gave up thinking maybe the business had moved. We rounded the corner and saw the BBQ banner along with the other food sheds. I ordered the pulled pork quesadilla. Their bbq special sauce was incredible. My husband who has gluten allergy opted for some of the smoked meats and brat, and said it was so flavorful. This is a must stop!! read more

I am selective with 5 star ratings on BBQ. I have been to over 300 bbq locations all over the country including Kansas, Texas, Carolinas and WOW!!! I got the meat sampler meal. 3 meats/2 sides and cornbread. I honestly can't off the top of my head think of a place that had better Brisket and better cornbread! Best I have had. The serving size is huge! The chicken and ribs = A++ Chili and Mac N Cheese = A Owner checked in and was super kind and does everything himself!!! If you can make it here!!! The customer service is fantastic, every time I have visited the owner himself has come out to greet me and offer his advice on menu options as well as will hand deliver the food to your table, he is an incredible person with a lot of ambition, respect, and is very friendly. They always play great country songs to help you feel right at home. This food is truly amazing, all of the meat has the smokey flavor throughout, signature of a long smoking time with high quality wood. I have eaten here a few times my favorite item on the menu is the "Dirty Mac" is BY FAR the best Mac & Cheese on PLANET EARTH. I always have photos with my reviews but didn't include this one because my wife and I devoured it before realizing I had forgotten. I get Mac & Cheese just about every restaurant I go to and am well too often disappointed.
