This place is a must-stop if you're in the area! I had the hamburger, and it was excellent--juicy, flavorful, and cooked just right. The meal included fries and a drink for only $10.99, which is a great value. I decided to upgrade to the waffle fries, and they were absolutely awesome--crispy, seasoned perfectly, and worth every penny. Great food, great prices, and friendly service. I'll definitely be back!

The food was excellent! Good service, too. We had the western bacon burger and the pastrami burger. We also had the huckleberry shake. It was one of the best I ever had.

There is nothing better than the only place to stop for lunch being freaking FANTASTIC! We stopped in at the Frostop Drive-in in Idaho on our way back from Montana, and it was such a good idea. They were moderately busy but still great service. The shakes came out quick, and he loved his Huckleberry shake. We both got the bacon cheeseburger basket, and it was LOADED with super crispy bacon. The bun was so good, and all the veggies were super fresh. The fries were perfectly crisp, and their fry sauce is pretty good, too. But honestly, the best part - the price! Their burger baskets (burger fries and drink) are all under $14.... the plain burger is even less. The stalls are a bit narrow, but we fit just fine in our big vehicle. The bathroom was teeny but well kept and clean.

We wanted a snack after coming back from seeing the Mesa falls. Huckleberry shakes hit the spot. The Fresh berries and a wafer cookie on top of shake were a lovely treat. The friendly server came out to take our order and offered us a pup cup. My dog had never had one before , so why not. Omg , she made it so special and it had bacon strips on top. Dewey was in heaven. We all had treats. We loved the fun Halloween decorations outside and the inside was warm and inviting on this chilly day. We will be back !

Classic American drive in- what a gem! Server was so sweet. And those spice potatoes are amazing!

Good burger! We stopped in for lunch and it was really good! We pulled in and ordered right from our car: 1 hamburger, 1 cheeseburger, 1 cheeseburger basket (with tater tots and a drink), and a corn dog kids meal. The total was just over $30. The burgers tasted great and were made to order! The tots were pretty basic and the French fries were yummy!

Not a fan of spring mix on a hamburger. Stale bun. The large root beer float had little ice cream and the ice cream was icy in texture. Fries were great crispy.

This place is delicious. Our CarHop was amazing she was quick and friendly and fun. My niece had shrimp and chicken that she said was amazing. And I had the grilled chicken sandwich with fries also amazing. We both had root beer floats and they are to die for. Recommend highly getting a root beer float. We came in and off time so it was not busy at all.

The food was decent but nothing special. Not many options around so a solid choice if your hungry and in the area.

The pub isn't on the Jackson town center, so that mitigates some traffic. Nonetheless the brewery was decently crowded. Fully menu service at the bar, upstairs or downstairs. Seating is first come, first served. Nice mix of tourists and regulars assembled for football, brews and lively socializing. Fun music playlist could still be heard despite the large TV screen. The space feels both contemporary yet a Jackson Hole institution. While the menu features pub food, I shortlisted a number of gourmet contenders. Ultimately the "slash and burn trout" was irresistible. You'll love this dish if you like a variety of colors, flavors and textures. I meant to 86 the fried leeks, but they added crispy fun to the tender fish, decadent pork belly, sweet corn & roasted tomatoes & fresh radish sprouts. This plate qualifies for culinary genius.

Be prepared for it, especially during peak times. We waited about an hour just to be seated, and once we ordered, the food also took quite a while to come out. The brewery itself has a lively atmosphere with plenty of seating and a fun energy without feeling overly touristy. It's a great place to unwind after a day exploring the area. The beer selection offers something for just about everyone, and the food was good overall. Nothing completely wowed me, but everything was decently prepared. The bison burger was pretty dry and you can't pick how you wanted it cooked so that was a miss. The service was friendly throughout despite how busy they were.

Piecing together that this is a tourist trap town on the outskirts of YNP, I lowered my expectations to like 5/10. Believe me, this is worse than mid. We were famished driving out of Yellowstone after a long day of sightseeing, as most of this place's victims probably are. I grimly perused the menu, and ordered a burger and fries because surelllyyyyyy... they can make a 5/10 burger?! My standards were so low! The bread on the burgers was soggy and gross, the burger wasn't seared at all, and the fries were burnt. Our friend ordered steak: the steak was bright pink through and through and also not even seared... how do you mess up this badly? Do they have a grill back there?? I've cooked steak way better myself on a skillet for way cheaper. A bowl of onion rings with no dipping sauce. Salads with tomatoes sliced round- not diced. I had never seen that before in my life. Other friend got a pizza. She said it was okay, but looking at it I had my doubts. I'll admit I didn't try it because it looked like day old frozen pizza. Mind you if the total bill had been $75, then whatever we were hungry, it's a tourist trap-- No. The total for the food was $148. For 4 people. No drinks at all, just water. I'm so appalled and embarrassed because there were lots of international visitors here for Yellowstone. Probably more than usual if some stopped here during a US visit for the World Cup. They probably come here and believe this abomination is representative of American food. Shameful. I normally wouldn't bring up something like ambiance, but since this place has the audacity to charge nice restaurant prices for food so disgusting I wouldn't even feed it to a dog, the music sucks too. It was the most cliche 70s American bar playlist ever. I personally enjoy that kind of music, but here it feels like rubbing salt in a wound. Positives: Server was nice, poor guy. The French onion soup was actually nice and up to par, but French onion soup is not enough to redeem a place, especially when this place is your first stop in civilization and you're ready to chow down. Next night we skipped West Yellowstone and opted for the gas station by our Airbnb. The hours-old chicken sandwich behind glass was Michelin star compared to this.

We arrived with our family of 5 and my brother's family of 7. Since I have celiac disease and this was one of the few places I could eat, my wife stayed to order while I the rest of us went to McDonalds. When I returned with my three young kids, the owner actually scolded us for bringing back McDonald's, even though we had done that to make his life easier. He also ignored the party of six behind us who had been waiting for at least 30 minutes and instead took the order of the group behind them (4 people). After waiting nearly 40 minutes just to order (there was only one party in front of us), our food was finally handed to us in a bag with hairs stuck under the sealing sticker. For celiac friendly food, it was above average- but it wasn't worth the hostility. There are plenty of places that appreciate their customers. This isn't one of them. Update: The owner's response leaves out important context. We arrived as two families totaling 12 people. After he said he wouldn't serve a group that size, my brother's family left. Because I have celiac disease and this was one of the few places I could safely eat, my wife stayed to order while I took our three young children to McDonald's. When I returned with just my kids, the owner told me to "get that McCrap out of here," not to use his trash cans, and later called me "a dick" to my wife. He also accused our nephews of scratching his table. We checked the table before leaving and found no scratches. After I posted this review, he publicly called us "terrible parents" and "terrible people," told me to "go back to Utah" even though I'm not from Utah, and later sent me a private message calling me "full of crap" and "utard." I've included screenshots so readers can judge for themselves.
