I'm pretty patient when it comes to service but we had to find a new server to let our server know we were waiting for drinks, to get our check, to get our to go boxes... it ruined the whole experience. Frescos is a great place. The vibe is nice with big wooden benches and nice pillowed benches. I have been here multiple times and it is usually really good. I have had a couple bad experiences but the food is consistently yummy. The service is always a gamble. I love their pizzas and they have yummy chicken sandwiches. I have tried almost everything on the menu because so many of my friends enjoy it. I think this could be because it's one of the few restaurants in the area! The service is always great, quick, & it's a great environment. The servers have always been exceptional. That said, I have never enjoyed my meal. The pizzas taste off. I've tried the margarita, spud potato one, and the buffalo one. I LOVE doorza pizza (they're made in the same kitchen, but are different as i confirmed this with the waitress) and recommend just ordering doorza for pizza. Doorza has so much more flavor, the best crust, & you can't go wrong with any topping! Their combos pair together much better. The sandwiches and burgers all have nothing special to them for the price you're paying. The buns have always been a little on the stale side and never taste fresh. Red Rabit is superior for these menu items and are comparable prices. The desserts i've had were always imported from cheesecake factory so those are always delicious! We don't love their appetizers either. We've tried the wings & they taste like they are covered in a buffalo sauce that could be bought at walmart. Nothing special to the sauce. read more

Found a place that served pasta last minute on yelp. My first time to Idaho and my first time having potatoes on my pizza! All of the food was amazing! Glad I picked this spot. The pizza was definitely the best part. The pasta was good and we also tried the loaded fries. Perfect place for a carb load! Went to Fresco the other night with my family. It was the second time I have been there. We had a group of eight and they found a perfect table for us. Our server Kendall was great. He gave us some suggestions and kept our drinks filled. Two burgers were ordered and they were great. One of our party had the chicken dinner and loved it. I took my sister here for her birthday since I heard that they had incredible gluten free pizzas (my sister is gluten intolerant). We went right into the restaurant and were immediately greeted and sat down by the kind server Simone and she was just wonderful the whole time. We told her we were celebrating a birthday, she sat us down in probably one of the most comfortable booths I've sat in ever next to the beautiful big windows they had. Our server walked us through all the options, ensured the appetizers we ordered were prepared properly to not upset my sister's dietary restrictions, and our food came out faster than at any other sit down restaurant I've attended. Food: Pretty good! We had the loaded fries as a starter, and they were ok. Just a smidge of cheese and a sprinkle of bacon, most of the fries were plain. The sauce that is served with it is really good though! For my main entree I had the Idaho Russet pizza which was exceptional. I am not hesitant to say it is in fact, the best pizza I have ever had. The crispy bacon, with the little hint of truffle, and goat cheese is just an amazing combination. Service: Good! Our waiter was very attentive and nice. Ambience: Not too busy and not that loud, which is pleasant! The only complaint I have is the booths have no cushioning so my back did start hurting at the 30 minute mark. Worst bar I've ever been to. Ordered a glass of Cabernet, they had only one choice and they were out. The bar was cluttered, used as a workspace--wrapping napkins from a pile of silverware just piled on the bar. A plastic create full of glasses just stacked at the bar. The counter behind the bar (workspace) was a disaster--personal items just thrown on the workspace-purses, sweaters, personal candy, old plastic flowers, two old coffee makers, one looked as though it hadn't been washed or cleaned in years. Consistency is the name of the game. We have come here a few times because we know what we'll get...a pretty descent meal. I find myself getting the Fresco Burger the majority of the time as it is cooked well and seems to be some pretty high quality meat. The flavored lemonades always hit the spot as well. I'm partial to the grape lemonade as it reminds me of a childhood drink we had at my grandmas. So this place is in the same parking lot as both hotels in the area. We were tired and just walked over for a quick dinner. I ordered the Fresco pizza and my wife ordered the Chicken Alfredo. I thought the pizza was pretty good instead of slices of green peppers. They use large diced pieces. Iris Liam sausage was crumbled very fine and pepperoni slices were quite large. My wife's dinner was not so good the chicken was like mush and resembled canned chicken. The pasta was average and the Alfredo sauce was very bland. Service was very good and fast. When Frescos first came to town it was great. But these last couple of years we have received inconsistent service. The food is a hit and miss. Sometimes it was so good, then you will go a month later and get the same item and it tastes and is presented completely different. Just came today and it is my last time. My burger was completely pink and raw in the middle. Staff haven't cleaned up tables for over an hour and there are only 3 customers. They are just sitting and talking and eating at the bar. I've been in Rexburg for a week and have eaten at Fresco's four times. The first time I had the Fresco burger, it was good. The second time I had the salmon, it was over cooked for my liking. The third visit I had the chicken bacon ranch pizza, this was very good. The last time ate there I had the guacamole burger, this was fantastic. I was always treated well by everyone and the restaurant was very clean. I would give it a 5 but I am a firm believer there is room to grow and learn. read more

I don't know quite where to begin on this one. We were staying at a nearby hotel and they suggested this restaurant for dining. The server gal was nice but never brought and dressing for the salad that came with our meal. They gave some in our group regular salads but left the others in the group with 1/3 size salads and said they were out of lettuce. All of the Alfredo meals had no sauce with the noodles leaving them dry.The chicken Alfredo came out saltier than the ocean. The fries for the fish and chips were cold and gross. This fish was medium warm at best. We ordered two shrimp Alfredo meals and one was brought out and after all the rest of the food came out they informed us that there were no more shrimp for the other pasta and gave that person a very sad looking plate of Alfredo noodles. Waitress was nice but kitchen seemed to not care about food presentation. They gave us full credit on the no shrimp meal but not the salty, salty chicken Alfredo (none of it was eaten).I probably could have made better noodles in the hotel coffee pot. I tried to warn them but nobody wanted to listen, not that I've been here before, but I had a gut feeling. And my gut was right, was disappointed. We're staying next door at the Hampton Inn and thought we would give a try. It was very busy but we were seated right away. It wasn't long before we greeted by our waitress, Lindsy. She was completely slammed but managed to maintain her composure and deliver awesome service. Lindsy, you are the best! We started with the cheese bread appetizer which was delicious and was served with two dipping sauces. I ordered the special, Steak Sandwich. My wife ordered the potato pizza and our nephew order the steak. My steak sandwich was very tender and came with the yummiest onion rings. My wife said her pizza was very good as well.
