I had a very positive experience with Red Rhino. We noticed our water level continually getting low, regardless of rain or refilling. After having to top up the water more and more, we decided to get some professionals on the case to take a look. We scheduled an appointment with Red Rhino to do an inspection and it was really easy. The staff was communicative and helpful on the phone and on the day of the appointment they showed up right on time. After an extensive search in the pool, the did identify a leak near the drain. They then quoted us a for a repair and we went ahead and agreed to do the work. For appointment number 2, they again did a great job. Showed up as expected and got right to work. The repair was quickly completed and the guy who matched the pool finish was spot on. It was really hard to see a repair was done at all! All in all, we were very satisfied. He kept at it till he fixed our problem and his care and determination have been unmatched with any vendor we've used so far. Wow. We already had a flood in our house, so when our pool guy said the pool water level was dropping lately, we knew we had to check for leaks. Just thinking that we might have a leak in or around our pool made my stomach curl into my chest. We didn't know who we could trust to check out the pool. A (really smart) friend suggested Red Rhino. I made an appointment, agreeing to pay $300 for a complete assessment that includes minor repairs that are warrantied for 60 days. So yesterday their tech Richie came to our house and checked out the pressure of the pipes underground, the pool pump, the pool light, the pool 'eyeballs' and more. He got in the pool and tested it further. It took well over an hour to assess the pool. Before, during and after strong rain. Richie showed me the issue - the leak was behind the pool light so he filled the gap with epoxy. When he tested the pressure afterwards it was back in normal range! Today I see that the pool water level hasn't dropped since yesterday's repair! Alright! No digging up the backyard! No expensive repairs! What IMPRESSED me even more was their email to me - the same day as the service - that had the invoice and LABELED pics. They are together. Red Rhino were recommended by my pool supply store (Pinch a Penny) who is a fantastic company so I trusted on the recommendation. Bud Red Rhino has been my worse experience as a customer in my 10 years living in Florida. So far, 3 months after and more than 2 thousand dollars paid, the leak is still there (exactly the same leak ratio) and they say now that the problem is in another place, "we found it"!. Maybe this time they really found it, but the money paid was for nothing and the worse part is their arrogant attitude, aggressive communication approach and they ask you to do A LOT of things for them (pump on, off, take pictures of level, move valves, check water level, etc) If you are reading this, don't go with this guys, expensive, cero customer focus and not reliable. They came highly recommended, but so far I'm unimpressed. I contacted them Jan 31st regarding a pool leak. It is early May and after 7 visits the leak is still not fixed. Weeks between visits illuminates their lack of priority to the issue. They told me the leak was detected and fixed, sent me an invoice for $800, but it is not fixed. That was three weeks ago, but they're not able to return until next week. read more

I'm in the hospitality business and exceptional customer service is key in our industry and Matt exemplified amazing customer service! I had made the mistake of going with another well known Leak Detection Pool Service Company the previous week who had claimed to have fixed all the leaks in my pool and within just a few days of the company coming out my pool was once again leaking. I need my pool fixed quickly due to the amount on water my pool was loosing each day so I called Red Rhino and I am soooo glad I did. Matt did a superb job. He was on time and was extremely knowledgeable and detailed in explaining everything that he did. Unlike the first company that literally spent 20 minutes from start to finish and then proceeded to tell me they would not even do a pressure test on the pool when they had stated that they would when I set up the appointment. Matt was very detailed and did a thorough inspection of the entire pool, skimmer, and pump. He even looked at the salt cell system we use which isn't even part of Red Rhino's inspection process and is managed by our pool guy. Matt went above and beyond and exceeded all my exceptions. Your Broward Co., team responded to my email promptly on a Monday morning & setup an appointment for the next day (Tuesday). When your technician (Cory) arrived, he was professional & spoke about the entire leak detection process. Within a few hours he had finished his troubleshooting & gave me the details & recommendations for repair. I agreed to his recommendations & he setup the repair service. On Thursday (same week), the repair technician (Chris) arrived & again explained in detail what he would be doing (leaking skimmer replacement). He was professional & kept a neat work area for the entire repair. Once the repair was completed everything was put back in place to the point where it didn't look like anything had been done, but the repair was 100% finished. Chris explained the next steps & warranty (as did Cory), & cleaned up his work area. Its been a couple of days & the leak appears to be sealed & we couldn't be more satisfied. The leak detection service was fine. Quote to fix the problem was redoing the entire pool for 7500 when all the issues were at the water line. Asked them to just address the areas showing leaks and they "don't do that". Problems were fixed by someone else for $1000. read more

Cannot say enough about the terrific service we received! Responsive, professional, neat, and the pool and pavers look perfect. Our first responder came , introduced himself, appraised the situation , and called us back later with the estimated cost of the job. ( wish I remembered his name since he was very professional in his attitude and performance.) First thing Monday morning, Craig and Rory called prior to their arrival and explained exactly what they were doing and how long they expected the work to take. Turned out it was the epoxy glue that had cracked due to weather changes and our skimmers needed to be replaced. many times we overlook great service. We only take the time to make complaints. I want to commend your service technician Terrence Young that came by today and answered all of my questions and resolved where the leak was. It sounds simple but it really wasn't as easy as that. He was diligent in his approach to make sure that he tested every pop up, pool vac line, spa, pool return line,main drain and skimmer. This was not a easy task because I was sure that I had a leak in the skimmer, main drain and possible pool return line. He checked, double check and triple check to ensure me that only the skimmer was the problem and reason why I have lost hundreds of gallon of water. Once completed after a full day (He arrived as promised at 9am) he tested again every line while the pump was on to ensure I had full prime in the Main Drain and Pool vac line. BINGO! Finally ! I took advantage of the 100.00 discount to have them repair the skimmer and he made a appt. for me right on the spot. He cleaned up the area and left as if he never arrived! I am a 25 year home owner and have rarely ever had anyone complete their assignment with such competency. Red rhino is lucky to have such a great employee! Terrible experience. Team came out in 2015 ('surfer' in tank top and flip flops) and supposedly pressure tested and fixed a leak. When the pool was filled after that, it was apparent that the leaks were not fixed and so we called back for an appointment. The tech 'broke down' on the way and never showed up. We had to call to find out what happened after paying our house man to sit there for two hours and wait. They were completely unapologetic and rude on the phone when we asked for someone to come within 48 hours after they stood us up. They did not care and simply said to call someone else. This is despite their warranty, which they breached willingly. BEWARE! read more

I couldn't be happier. When my pool guy referred Red Rhino to repair my leak, I did a little investigating. After checking other's rates and experience, I called Red Rhino and decided on giving them the go ahead. Gregory came out right on schedule and brought his technical analysis equipment. He was completely thorough in his review and determined there was a leak and the skimmer assembly would need to be replaced. He quoted a price which wasn't cheap but was inline with others. I scheduled the job for while we were away at Disney World with the family. Jeremiah came out early enough that morning so I was able to discuss the job with him before we left. He started immediately. When we came home, the pool was running beautifully. He had added chlorine I left for him and filled the pool with an automatic shut off device. He hooked up my pool vacuum. The repairs were done professionally and efficiently. He restored the patio back to almost original condition other than my needing to add a little paint. Now everything is working perfectly and the pool looks great. He even saved me $300 from the original quote because the skimmer wasn't encased (whatever that means). WOW!!! This was a great experience!!! Tiago came to our house on time. Did a very thorough leak detection. Determined our skimmers were the culprits. He showed us pics of the problem and explained what needed to be done. Craig & Grant came the next business day replaced the skimmers, pressure tested, put the pavers back perfectly, & cleaned up everything. Professional and courteous. RED RHINO RIPOFF Personable and knowledgable young man came out to do estimate. Found leak in skimmer & 2 or 3 returns. Also found a crack developing that needed stapling along with a leaky checkvalve. Charged about $350 for inspection which I thought was high for roughly 1 hour. However he did go in the water so I think that might justify the price. He then informed me that RR could do the repairs. He drew up an estimate excluding the checkvalve which he forgot and it totaled almost $4000. I told him it seemed outrageous and then got an estimate from a pool refinisher (diamond brite) who I alerted to the leaks indicated by RR. They gave me an estimate to resurface the pool, new tile, staple 2 potential cracking problems, fix leaks in returns and skimmer for $4600 3200 for the refinish 800 for tile & tile work and 600 for the work RR quoted 4000 dollars. I had a leak in my pool and after using another company first, I quickly realized I made a mistake. I called Red Rhino from a recommendation and I could not be happier that I did. The wait time for a leak detection was a couple weeks, but let me tell you it was worth the wait. Once they showed up they were completely professional and took the time to explain everything in detail. Once the leak was quickly detected, I was given a quote in reference to the repair and scheduled it right away. Within two days Kenny called me and told me he would arrive early which was a pleasant surprise. Kenny arrived to my home and immediately started the job. Again, he explained everything in detail prior to doing the job and even addressed and unforeseen issue while completing the job. He explained to me what he found and told me he was going to fix it. Once he was finished, he cleaned up absolutely every piece of debris inside my pool. The work he did was very clean and you can tell he knew exactly what he was doing. I had their team come out twice to try to resolve the issues that I am having with my pool. Their customer service and communication surpassed my expectations and this was in large part due to my Technician Tiago. Tiago was professional, friendly, informative, and he took the time to educated me on what his process and procedure will be for the leak detection service. Although their best efforts could not resolve my very specific issues, they demonstrated a high level of integrity and refunded me in full, exactly as their advertised Service Guarantee.
