This place have the best chocolate cake in the world with whipped cream frosting and cherrys I go here all the time just for the cake and the service is always great

I absolutely love this Red Ribbon location! The food is consistently delicious and brings such a comforting taste of home. The caramel bar is my ALL TIME favorite, and the ube cake flan is hands down the best!! I do wish they'd bring back the cashew nuts in the brownies.. But overall, everything is still soooo gooood!! Huge shoutout to the amazing staff for their friendliness and great service. Can't wait for my next visit!

This Red Ribbon Bakeshop can be found inside Seafood City, towards the entrance of the store and next door to Jollibee. After doing some of my grocery shopping, I made a quick stop here. I was greeted by both of the employees behind the counter. I ended up purchasing: Ube Mamon, $2.79- Mamon is Filipino sponge cake. This ube flavored cake is good. It was soft and a good portion for a sweet tooth. Mocha Mamon, $2.79- My husband ate this and he liked it. Butter Mamon, $2.79- My mom had this and she also liked it. -------------------------------- (Total= $7.87 (no tax) My mom is a fan of Red Ribbon and she always likes to get the butter flavor, since it is plain. So I always like to stop by and get that for her when there is a Red Ribbon bakery in the area. There was a special buy 6 mamon, get 1 free deal when I visited and believe that is the usual special (as I have seen that deal at other Red Ribbon Bakeshops). I will definitely be back if I am shopping in the area again.

I've been a loyal fan of Red Ribbon Bakeshop for many years, and I couldn't be happier when they finally opened a location in the Inland Empire. No more trekking to West Covina - now, I can get my cake fix conveniently at the Red Ribbon Bakeshop inside Seafood City Market. What sets this location apart is that you can combine your cake shopping with a grocery run, making it a one-stop-shop for all your cravings. Now, let me share my go-to orders that never fail to satisfy my sweet tooth. My Favorite Round Cakes: -Mango Supreme ($32.99): A tropical delight that's rich in flavor and refreshingly sweet. -Cake Sampler ($37.49): Perfect for indecisive cake lovers like me, offering a taste of various delectable treats. -Ube Flan ($35.49): The unique blend of Ube and flan is a match made in dessert heaven. -Ube Overload ($34.99): Ube lovers rejoice! This cake takes it to the next level. -Sans Rival ($20.49): A crunchy, nutty masterpiece that's hard to resist. -Choco Mocha Crunch ($35.49): A delightful chocolatey treat that's a true crowd-pleaser. My favorite Cake Rolls ($14.99 each): -Brazo De Mercedes Roll: A Filipino classic that's light, fluffy, and absolutely delicious. -Mocha Roll: Perfect for coffee enthusiasts, with a rich mocha flavor. -Mango Roll: A fruity twist on the classic roll that's simply divine. My Favorite Mamons: -Ube Mamon and Butter Mamon: Soft, fluffy, and bursting with flavor. Both are must-tries! -Empanadas ($3.19-$3.69 each): My personal favorite is the Chicken Empanada, but they also offer Beef, Pork, and Spicy Chicken. Current Special Offers: Don't miss out on their current special - buy 6 empanadas and get 1 free. While they don't have Arroz Caldo and Pancit Palabok at the Inland Empire location, when you are in the West Covina branch location it's worth to try these savory delights. In conclusion, Red Ribbon Bakeshop in the Inland Empire has become my go-to destination for all things sweet and satisfying. The variety, quality, and the convenience of shopping inside Seafood City Market make it a top-notch experience. Whether you're a cake connoisseur or just looking for a delicious treat, Red Ribbon Bakeshop is the place to be!

We come here every month to buy our baby's cake as we celebrate each month leading up to her first birthday. It's become a special little tradition for our family. The cakes are always fresh, not too sweet, and beautifully made. They have great options for smaller cakes, and the quality is consistent every time. It's the perfect spot for something simple, affordable, and delicious. We'll definitely keep coming back.

Located inside Seafood City. We have come here a few times and usually get a few ube manons ($2.79 each). So good! They still have a promotion, buy 6 mamons, get one free. They cashier who helped me was very friendly and efficient, so no complaints there. We'll be back.

After our Jollibee chicken visit, my eldest daughter and I ventured right next door (literally a few footsteps away LOL) to Red Ribbon (I have caught myself calling them Red Robin LOL) for some mamons and whatever cakes they have available at the time. I have been here once before, but just haven't gotten a chance to do the review until now. So here we are... staff was very friendly and helpful. The gentleman behind the counter answered my questions the best he can. Thank you sir! Yeah, they ran out of Ube Flan! And it's not part of the Cake Sampler either if you're wondering... I already asked LOL. Anyway, I ended up getting the Ube Overload which is a nice compromise because I wanted something Ube. Unfortunately, cake was dry, but cream was good. I will have to catch the Ube Flan next time. My eldest daughter love their Cheese mamons so we bought 6 of them and got 1 Butter mamon for free... hey, that's a savings of $2.47 as that's the price of an average mamon LOL. Any penny found is a penny saved! By the way, a mamon is basically the infamous Filipino-style sponge cake. Very light and spongy the way we like it. They do have several mamon flavors to choose from. Be Happy Choosing! Store is nice with lots of tables and chairs in front of it. This eating area is shared between all the eateries and shops around it. Love this concept! Mamon and individual cake slice prices aren't bad at all, but their cakes are a tad high. Cake sampler is about $37, but you are getting 4 different cakes to try... I guess that's okay since you won't need to buy 4 whole cakes to accomplish the cake taste testing desire LOL. We'll definitely return to try their Ube Flan. I am always intentional with my goals no matter how big or small especially when it comes to food and drinks LOL. Happy Red Robining... oops, I meant Red Ribboning!

I prefer their cakes here, more than the cakes from Goldilocks. Lol I also come here for their palabok and combo meals. Main dish, delish slice of cake for dessert and a drink for $10? Yes please! My kiddos agree too. So far, customer service has been great. Friendly service the past couple of times I've been to this location. And those times were surprisingly not too bad of a crowd. The line was not too long and wait times for food and service were less than 5-10 minutes.

The store is always clean and food is always good, always recommend coming here for the cakes

    Butter mamon
    Leilani M.

I've seen the red ribbon bake shops in different cities but have never tried it. This location is inside seafood city. Along with other eateries. Finally got around to one and tried the butter mamon I'm so glad I did. Upon the first bite I asked myself why did I wait so long these are so good. It's like a Asian angel food cake with a light buttery topping. It's so light and airy it sort of melts in your mouth. It's a must try. Service was excellent and they have other flavors to choose from. Being the first I went with the classic. I will venture to the other baked goods next time.

    Michele L.

A slice of Ube Flan or Mocha Flan anyone? Yes please @redribbonusa is inside of @seafoodcitysupermarket So many bake goods to choose from. It's hard to decide, right? Overall favorite of the 2 we tried was the Mocha Flan

How long does the cakes last?

Do they add purple food coloring to the Ube cake? Or is it naturally that color?

The color comes from the ube root, which is a purple sweet potato.

This was not our first time ordering from Mr. Baker we usually stop in and pick cakes straight from the display case but this was our first custom cake experience, and it was so easy from start to finish. When we went into the bakery, we were given a card with the email address and told to email the baker directly. I emailed that Saturday while still in the store, and by Sunday morning I already had a response from Victoria. She was wonderful to work with throughout the entire process! I sent her inspiration pictures, and she quickly provided three different quote options. All of the inspiration cakes I sent included fresh flowers, and Victoria explained that we would need to bring our own flowers to the bakery the Friday before pickup so they could safely place them on the cake the next morning. Everything went smoothly, and when we arrived to pick up the cake, it looked absolutely stunning! The flowers we brought in were beautifully arranged, and the entire cake looked elegant and professionally done. We ordered vanilla cake with buttercream and their Strawberry Chiffon flavor, and both were AMAZING. Everyone at the bridal shower kept talking about how delicious the cake was! So many guests had never heard of Mr. Baker before and wanted to know where the cake came from that we actually brought extra business cards and handed them out during the shower. Thank you so much to Victoria and the entire team at Mr. Baker for creating such a beautiful cake and making the process so easy. However, I found the quality of the drink and food to be mediocre. The strawberry matcha was decent and visually appealing, but aside from its cute appearance, nothing stood out in terms of taste. My almond croissant was hard to bite into. This was disappointing as it was flavorful. I'm not sure if it was because I went in the afternoon, but I had to bite and chew harder than expected. I've never had that experience with a croissant before. My sister had no issues with hers, so I'm perplexed as to what went wrong with my croissant.

My wife clearly stated she needed a gluten free cake. Hours later, the business owner sent a follow-up text, even though the dietary requirement had already been discussed. After we sent the deposit, which was described as non-refundable, an additional $15 charge was suddenly added. I explained there was a misunderstanding and that we would rather not move forward. Instead of handling it professionally, the owner became defensive and dismissive. During the call, we were spoken to in a condescending and hostile tone. I responded in a condescending tone to match theirs, and the owner abruptly hung up. After the call, the owner later sent a text instructing us not to contact the business again, even though we had not called or texted back. The deposit was refunded, but the way the situation was handled was completely unprofessional. This was never about the additional $15. It was about honesty, transparency, and professionalism. Instead of acknowledging the misunderstanding, the owner doubled down, deflected blame, and personally attacked a customer. Even more concerning is that the owner's response tries to attack my character publicly instead of addressing the facts. They brought up a dealership review from eight years ago, which was simply about negotiating a vehicle purchase, to claim we "bully" businesses. This is irrelevant and clearly an attempt to discredit us rather than take responsibility. Based on this experience, it is clear that accountability does not exist at this business, and that they are more focused on trying to silence or detract from what occurred than taking responsibility. Readers can decide for themselves. Update: Additionally, after I responded to the original reply, the business owner edited their response and changed the story, context, and accusations in an apparent effort to further discredit me. I have attached screenshots showing the original version of the post for transparency. Update 2: The business owner previously responded by publicly sharing my private information. I reported the comment to Yelp, and Yelp removed it after determining it fell outside their Content Guidelines. In my opinion, publicly sharing a customer's private information is unacceptable.

I was so happy to be able to buy bread locally at a panadería vs the grocery store nearby. It makes a huge difference when you get to enjoy warm, freshly baked bread. I love the variety of breads that are offered - my favorites are still the mini conchas, the puerquitos, and the polvorones. I'm especially grateful that they added a food menu - it's saved me from starvation, and people around me from my hanger. I also really appreciate that they've allowed me to try tamales I have never had the chance to try before (I love the oaxaqueños made with mole). Not only is this a great place to get delicious pan and food, but it's also helping to serve as a community space where everyone is safe and welcomed. It's a place where you won't just see Latinos rushing in to buy and have a quick chat, but it welcomed anyone who has an interest in eating Mexican pan and food. There have been countless times when I see people coming in wanting to try something even if they don't yet know what they'll like. Everyone from owners, to owners' family, and staff are incredibly nice and informative. They patiently answer questions and often have some yummy treats to sample. It feels like you're going home to visit the Tia that spoils you with food. I really loved when the family was tending the shop, because I enjoyed hearing the stories of how recipes were obtained and how a certain kind of technique worked best. I find it fascinating because it wasn't just about food, but the history and stories behind it. It's a beautiful way to showcase our culture. I hope that they continue to grow and be even more successful.
