They had my tire repaired on car by 5pm, when they closed. 5 star primarily since they were honest and great attention to detail. In such situations, shady shops could easily take advantage and say tire not repairable and make have us buy a new tire. Was also able to watch techs from window inside wait room - good transparency. Our vehicle needed the cv joint replaced, presented them with the part which a specialty shop had…read moreordered and provided to us. They said they could do the job in 1 1/2 hours. It became apparent they were not able to do it at all as the apprentice was not monitored and the mechanic paid little attention. When putting the cv joint back in the bearings fell out. Initially they failed to use the packet of grease that came in the box with the new cv joint. Reassembly of the joint left it so stiff it would mot articulate and the mechanic told us it did not need to. This caused much delay as it could not them n line up for the bolts. This was pointed out to them but by then it was closing time. We spent the night in a motel returned the next morning to do the job correctly. When all was complete there was a washer left on the floor which turned out to be from one of the shocks. We got the job all done, only just left the drive when the vehicle started to make a terrible grinding noise. We limped it to Canadian Tire, called the owner from there to discuss the issue. He asked "why didn't we bring it back". He said he didn't want to hear from us again and hung up. Fortunately Canadian Tire diagnosed what was wrong....not properly torqued stretch bolt and an optional abs part left on the CV joint which shouldn't have been for our model year vehicle. Many dollars later our vehicle had the proper repairs done by Canadian Tire. If you aren't confident in doing the job don't take it on! Would not recommend this garage for any major work needed on a vehicle.

I recently took my motorhome in for an oil change on the chassis and generator. Last year and this…read moreyear I dropped in to get a quote and on both occasions I spoke with one of the owners, son, Jason Giesbrecht who gave me a quote of approx. $100 + tax ($70 for the motorhome and $30 for the generator). I decided to give them a try as most others are $120 for both. It appears after speaking to his father, Larry Giesbrecht they arbitrarily decided I should be charged an additional labour charge for the generator of $25 without my knowing. After having the work done the bill now came in at $150 ! When I questioned Jason about the extra billing he said they needed to be compensated for the extra work for the generator but that is why I asked for the quote. No additional work was needed other than the oil changes so there should be no extra charges! When I challenged him on the price and the quote he held his position and became very defensive. Even after telling him that they needed to be honorable or I wouldn't be back they held their position. We Canadians don't want to be argumentative but I should have refused to pay the extra billing. I told Jason I would not be back and, under protest, paid the bill. As I was leaving, Larry came out saying to take my F'KING business elsewhere because they didn't want my business anyways! I have noticed their empty bays as I drive past their shop on a regular business so maybe their reputation is starting to get around but, just in case I'D SAY DON'T REWARD THIS BUSINESS WITH YOURS.
