Some of the best BBQ I have ever had. My niece ordered a bunch of meats and salads from Red Rock the first night we arrived. We are sure glad they did. Fall off the bone ribs, tender brisket, with just the right amount of smokey flavor. Kielbasa was delicious. I couldn't stop eating it. Fantastic potato salad. Susquehanna is lucky to have such an expert pit boss. Next time we visit, we will be ordering from Red Rock for sure.

We had both the pulled pork sandwich meals which include two sides and also some brisket. The pulled pork sandwiches are good but the pork is ground and a little bit mushy. Sandwich was just a touch dry. But the real score here is the brisket. It's super moist and tender and some of the best iPad. I didn't want to sandwich so I ordered it without the bun and they just provided me what you see in my photo, nice juicy's heavily smoked brisket that is super tender.

So glad we stopped here. The brisket was great, tender, moist and flavorful - choice of 4 sauces - I had the Carolina vinegar which I enjoyed, The German potato salad was terrific and the cornbread had great texture and a bit of spicy heat to it. Had to try some of the delicious ice cream for dessert. The service is very friendly and prompt. The scenery is really nice out back with lots of trees and view of a vintage barn lit and the back porch lit with twinkle lights in the evening,

If you are in the area, I recommend stopping at Red Rock BBQ. We found this place while driving along 81. The environment is friendly with a small town feel. The staff make you feel welcomed and tell you about their restaurant. Ordering is a breeze as you walk up to a small counter for food. Beer and Wine is available; however, we learned this is operated by another owner on the other side of the dining room. We both had the beef brisket sandwich platter. The meat was cooked to perfection. The platter came with two sides and cornbread. While the sides were good, I would recommend that the cornbread be heated (personal preference). In addition, there are several types of bbq sauce to choose from. The portions were generous and the prices were much lower than expected. Overall, I would recommend this place. Be sure and check their hours as they are not open for lunch everyday.

We are in from Chicago and stopped here while sight seeing. So glad we did! Amazing pulled pork and brisket. Our favorite sauces were the traditional red and the sriracha Mayo. Staff was super attentive and friendly. The Pennsylvania liquor, particularly the whiskey was also a treat! If we come back to the area in the future we would absolutely come again.

I stop here whenever I'm in upstate NY to pick up bottles of this scrumptious sauce to bring home. This trip, I was delighted to find they had deep-sixed the "meh" buffet & now offered a full menu, including appetizers & desserts. A half chicken dinner ($19) includes their salad bar, a loaf of their homemade bread & one side. If you're not into chicken, which is what they're known for, they also offer ribs, brisket & other charbroiled meats. The salad bar had a good selection & everything tasted fresh & crisp. Their bread loaf is soft, white & served warm with whipped butter. We also ordered an appetizer of hush puppies, which were delicious with the whipped cinnamon butter that came with them. I chose baked beans for my side dish. Tasty & a good complement to the chicken. The chicken... perfectly charred, smoky, tender... wow!!! So delicious. Now for the weird part... we had leftovers & asked for take away containers. Our server brought us each a plastic box for the chicken. I asked for a small covered cup to take the rest of the beans & was told they don't give those out in the dining room. That was part of the meal I was paying for, so I asked her to please ask management if I could have a container. She came back with one but said, "We made an exception this time, but don't let it happen again." What?!? If it hadn't been for this, I would have rated it 5 stars.

And lastly, extremely fair pricing - I'd go so far as to say great Ang for the buck for the quality and quantity. We were visiting Binghamton from NJ so this a review from a first-timer. From the moment we walked in, the staff behind the register and in kitchen were all super friendly, patient, accommodating, and seemed to appreciate their customers. From the looks of it, have a steady carry out local customer-base so there was ample seating so no wait and service was quick for a late Saturday lunch. As for the food - it was straight well-cooked, moist bbq. It had a perfect amount of smoky flavor and very savory while not too salty. We had the brisket, ribs, and smoked turkey. The briskets practically disintegrated as soon as I put my fingers on them. It comes with a side of horseradish sauce which paired perfectly. The ribs were fall off the bone and dry rub (I believe) which I prefer. And my favorite - and sometimes hard-to-find - the smoked turkey was absolute perfection. Not over or under powering. Just the right amount of smoky flavor. I didn't need to add sauce to any of the meats to enjoy them. The onion rings were perfectly fried - crunchy with thick cuts of onion. While my son and I were split on the Mac n cheese (which was definitely good anyway you look at it), my son liked it more than I did. The best side IMO is their baked beans. It was acidic and less sweet in a good way and tasted like no other BBs I've had. I'm not sure I'll have another reason to be up in Binghampton again, but I will so be going here again if I ever do. I did want to try the fried catfish so hopefully a trip will come its way.

Baked beans were good; found the coleslaw and cornbread just average however. The banana pudding was also too liquidy for my taste (they went heavy on the condensed milk there).

Boasting rich and comforting flavors, this concoction was an amalgam of deliciously smoked meat and veggies swimming in a pool of a savory tomato and herb broth. The next favorite, and honestly the best I've ever had - the ribs. Fall-off-the-bone, moist, saucy and full, these delightful slices of heaven sung of flavor. Before I go on sounding like I ate a meal for a village, we were treated to a lovely sampling. The meatloaf, paired with the potato salad, would be the hit of any party. Finally, and I don't know how the chef did this, but the smoked tuna was so rich and different, it reminded me of eating a fresh and expensive crab cake. Note to all who are looking for some epic bbq: check the updates for availability. It's no shock, but this locale sells out of items quickly in its TH-S run. An experience I will never forget.
