What a gem - this place exceeded expectation in every way. Super friendly service, easily accessible, some of the best bbq I've had on the east coast. And lastly, extremely fair pricing - I'd go so far as to say great Ang for the buck for the quality and quantity. We were visiting Binghamton from NJ so this a review from a first-timer. From the moment we walked in, the staff behind the register and in kitchen were all super friendly, patient, accommodating, and seemed to appreciate their customers. From the looks of it, have a steady carry out local customer-base so there was ample seating so no wait and service was quick for a late Saturday lunch. As for the food - it was straight well-cooked, moist bbq. It had a perfect amount of smoky flavor and very savory while not too salty. We had the brisket, ribs, and smoked turkey. The briskets practically disintegrated as soon as I put my fingers on them. It comes with a side of horseradish sauce which paired perfectly. The ribs were fall off the bone and dry rub (I believe) which I prefer. And my favorite - and sometimes hard-to-find - the smoked turkey was absolute perfection. Not over or under powering. Just the right amount of smoky flavor. I didn't need to add sauce to any of the meats to enjoy them. The onion rings were perfectly fried - crunchy with thick cuts of onion. While my son and I were split on the Mac n cheese (which was definitely good anyway you look at it), my son liked it more than I did. The best side IMO is their baked beans. It was acidic and less sweet in a good way and tasted like no other BBs I've had. I'm not sure I'll have another reason to be up in Binghampton again, but I will so be going here again if I ever do. Really solid BBQ; was pleasantly surprised to find this place in Binghamton. The burnt ends are really flavorful and the brisket very tender (goes really well with their house made sauces). Portions are HUGE. Baked beans were good; found the coleslaw and cornbread just average however. We decided to try Zeus BBQ instead of going to our normal spot. Not only was our order roughly 35% more expensive, but when we got home and went to eat, we were kissing things from the order. When you're charging $40-50 for what everyone else charges less for, 2 things need to happen. 1 - amazing food. 2 - a complete order. Since I didn't get what I ordered, and driving all the way from Owego would cost more in gas than it's worth to get my food, I can't recommend this place, regardless of how good the food may or may not be. read more

Burnt ends were a bit overly sauced-would have preferred no sauce, but that wasn't an option. Chicken was well seasoned. Salt potatoes were seasoned and buttered-very nice. Cornbread wasn't anything special, but good. Mac n cheese was just ok, but I am not a big fan of it in general, so maybe not the best judge. Nothing outstanding, but nothing bad. This is one place you absolutely have to come and eat! The pride they put into the food shows in the flavor. The ribs, brisket, and burnt ends are spot on every time, not to mention the flavor of the home made bbq sauces they have. Not once have I been disappointed with anything on the menu. The owner is great and the first face you see when you walk in and you won't meet a nicer guy. Service is excellent and very friendly no matter the time of day or how busy they are. The inside is a cool little corner spot with some booths for seating and it's nice and clean. You can see them preparing your food which is always a plus. Counter service. I had the brisket and my friend had the rib meals. The meals come with cornbread and 2 sides. Brisket was excellent nice smoke ring with good outer rub seasoning. I had heard of this place from a lot of people. Perhaps it is because I had ordered with high expectations that I has left me so disappointed. I ordered the 2 meat mac daddy with corn bread and banana pudding through door dash. The pulled pork and brisket on the mac daddy were well seasoned and good. Tender enough to cut with a spoon. The fries and mac and cheese that the meats topped were sub par. The fries were unseasoned and if you did not see them you never would have known they were there. The macaroni was so over cooked that it had the consistency of mashed potatoes. I have had frozen mac and cheese that tasted better. The corn bread was dry and came with no butter or honey for those of us that like it like that. Portions were above and beyond. I could only eat half of what was given. the other half I gave to my co worker. She agreed with me about the mac and cheese being sad. The price was very reasonable. If I decide to order from there again, I think I will avoid the Mac daddy and corn bread. Maybe just a meat sandwich or something. I DO NOT recommend this place...not about the food but how much they give you. I ordered the ribs and made it a double order. What I received was 4 ribs with a side and I had to order something else to meet the minimum. I called to complain and he said an order of ribs was 2 and since I doubled it I got 4!! With tip and delivery charge I spent close to 40$. What a joke! I can find a rack of ribs for at least 20$ at the store and make them myself. Please beware of this if you want to try them. read more
