I'm really glad my dentist referred me to Red Rock Endodontics. The receptionist answered my phone call within the 2nd ring and she was very efficient and friendly. Upon entering the receptionist was friendly and helpful. She asked if I have an appointment which I did and told her so. She then asked for my insurance card and I told her I only have a digital copy of my insurance card but then she said she has already pre authorized my insurance, gave me a few pages of questionnaires to fill and take a seat. Within 15-20 mins I was called. The venue was clean, not crowded and not noisy at all. Their equipments seems up to date and well maintained. I was seated at a reclining chair and it was very comfy. Then the assistant took x-rays of my teeth and Dr Kim came in and spoke to me and let me know what my condition was and what to expect. Overall it went really smooth. His assistant, Liz and Dr Kim are a good team. They worked fast and efficient and they were gentle. What I really like about my treatment was that after the first anesthesia application I still felt pain so I made it known and Dr Kim stopped and gave me a 2nd anesthesia and tried to start procedure again but again I still felt discomfort so he stopped and took all the tools out of my mouth and administered a 3rd round of anesthesia. Now I numbed up really good and can't feel anything. Dr was done with my procedure in just a little over an hour. I had a 1/4 of my tooth broken and Dr Kim even added fillings and rounded out my tooth so it's not sharp. Thanks Dr Kim, Liz and Red Rock endodontics team for taking good care of me and doing such an amazing job!! I hope I don't need your service again but if I do, I know where to go read more

Amazing care and explanation when consultation regarding a possible root canal. Dr explained risk with the root being close to the nerve bundle , in depth pictures and took his time , agreed extraction of the wisdom tooth probably the better play here. Im so glad i got a referral here from my dentist to fix a very old root canal that started hurting. Dr. Tran is wonderful and so professional! My tooth has been hurting for over 3 months. I was referred to Red Rock Endo to see Dr Chris Tran. I usually do not like dentists because the drilling in my mouth gives me anxiety. Where to begin. I have been coming to Dr. Kim for 13 years at Red Rock Endo, for all my specialty dental procedures that require true expertise. I will have nobody else working on my teeth except Dr. KIm. Having said this, Red Rock is more than a dental office. It begins when you walk in the door. Your first encounter will be with an amazing woman named Denise. She is like a personal concierge as far as working and coordinating your insurance needs. Her pleasant and warm personality puts you at ease right away. Most importantly she cares about you as a human being, and not just a patient. She will navigate any issues you might have along the way with the logistics. From there you will go back to see the dentist. As I said earlier, for me, that is Dr. Kim. He is highly professional and skilled. He will evaluate your situation and give you practical options, then let you decide how you would like to proceed. He has done some complicated procedures on me, that were nothing but successful Again, he will make you feel valued and respected. For me personally, I have the feeling that my brother is working on my mouth, and has my best interests at heart. Of course, Dr. Kim can't do this alone. That is where his assistant Lizette comes in. Another part of the team with a great personality who makes you feel like "Don't worry, we've got this, you will be fine." What I really notice is that she actually loves her job and wants to take care of you. There are many others in the office, but this is my team that takes nothing but the best care of me. I could go on for hours, but still wouldn't have enough words to describe the appreciation I have for them. Fortunately I have only ever needed to visit an Endodontist once in my life before this week. I was experiencing quite a bit of pain in a molar and needed a consultation, but the referral from my dentist couldn't get me in for over a week. Went to my dentist thinking I needed a new filling but my filling was too close to the nerve so he referred me to Red Rock Endodontics & I met Dr. Kim. He reassured me that yes it's definitely too close to just replace the filling so he went into dept about the root canal. I was scared sh*tless I must say. Fast forward a couple months later, I got my root canal and I was a mess pre-procedure. My anxiety was through the roof and I had Kristin there to help calm my nerves, she reassured me that they don't play around with the numbing, it's about a 45min-1hr procedure and they make sure patients don't feel anything (I was telling her about traumatic experience with my last wisdom tooth removal + local anesthesia at my last dentist office) . Anyway, I popped 1 earphone in, sat back, listened to my music and before I knew it..my root canal was done. Dr.Kim works so fast & effective that I was amazed and Kristin made sure I was feeling ok the whole time. This is the follow up review. My tooth (#31) is now completely healed. Root canal was done last July. My dentist took x-ray on this tooth recently and he said the bone was healed a lot. I was actually able the see the huge difference on the x-ray photo. I don't feel any pain or sensitivity any more. Had an amazing experience here. I'm absolutely mortified of the dentist and get pretty bad anxiety when I'm in the chair for too long. I waited so long to get my cavity treated that it turned into an abscess, and had to get a root canal done. I was first referred to Seven Hills endo, but their available appointments were so far out. I was referred by them to Red Rock and am so happy they did. The staff is very nice. Dr Kim and his assistant were both accommodating, comforting, and quick. My root canal took 40 minutes, with minimal discomfort. Hopefully I don't have to come back here, but if I need further work done- I would 100% come back here. In a word, Unimpressed. Staff, including "Office Manager" Christine, VERY average at best. Dr. uninterested. Office is a good location, décor comfy/clean but expected more than the very least possible effort & service. The assistant was inept, literally dropping tools on the floor, clearly untrained, & having, what I categorize, as not appropriate (recreational drug) conversation in the presence of a patient. Doesn't inspire confidence. Referred by another dentist for root canal, no insurance (ca$h payer) so knew it wasn't going to be cheap, but also don't see the need to add insult to injury. Anyhow, maybe that is why the did an a (superfluous) "regular" X-ray rather than the 3-D scan, so they can charge more/double?.. makes NO SENSE, to do a regular X-ray for breakage (THEY KNEW was) below gum line. Especially considering was referred by another dentist that surely could have relayed the message that 3-D scan was better option, OR the office could do a little due diligence, rather than subjecting someone in desperate pain to TWO of what is essentially the same exam. Why not give the client the option. (i.e. we could do the old fashioned X-ray for $130, but it may not show us what we need, OR we could do a slightly more expensive 3-D scan for $180 & KNOW that we will get the info needed to proceed). NOPE, instead lets charge twice, since the sucker is paying cash. Either way this place left a bad first & last impression. Sometimes you should drive further for better service, if you need these services try Endodontics Associates up on Smoke Ranch, farther drive, MUCH better service! read more

I came here today for a root canal, referred by Precision Dental. I've never had a root canal before and I was scared out of my mind! First of all, the ladies at the desk that do the appointments are kind, patient and accommodating. They changed my appointment for me at the last minute because of a schedule conflict on my end. When I got to my appointment they were ready for me right away, but I had to use the ladies room first (from being nervous). The bathroom is clean, roomy and feels like home lol... I honestly gave myself anxiety about this appointment for no reason. There was no pain at all other than the numbing needle, which wasn't that bad. I was in and out in about an hour. I wasn't pressured, there was no upselling, they made me feel really comfortable about the whole procedure. Truly a 5 star office, from start to finish.
