This is the BEST and friendliest accommodation we've had on our entire spring-break trip through Utah hiking various national parks from Arches to Zion. I wish every hotel we had was this good. Not breaking the bank, but new hardware, friendly staff, gorgeous setting, clean, everything! Apparently they offer e-bikes too. Breakfast was included in a nearby Mexican place (huge portion!). The highlight is their hot tub on a hill in the back, overlooking the Red Rock Inn and the surrounding mountains. Just amazing. The cabin felt so new; I love the soaking jacuzzi tub in the spacious bathroom. Sharon checked us in; she was super friendly and introduced us to the cute white puppy who was sort of the dog in residence. When we had questions about WiFi in our cabin and other small things, we were able to reach her on the phone. We stayed at the Zion Lodge inside the national park for the first few days of our hiking trip; it was a dump compared to Red Rock Inn, which is much more civilized. It is in Springdale, a very pleasant town at the entrance to Zion. read more

We stayed here recently on a trip to Zion Canyon National Park. It was perfect! - our room was comfortable (bed and pillows). We stayed at Cabin #3 - Emerald Pools - which was at the back of the property, so it was nice and quiet - we didn't hear any of the busy street noise. They were so helpful in allowing us to continue to park in their lot so we could take a morning hike the day we checked out. The breakfast at the nearby Mexican restaurant (Oscar's Cafe) was yummy with very ample portions. Would definitely recommend this as a great place to stay that doesn't break the bank! read more

Such a great place to stay in the heart of Zion National Park. Loved, loved, loved this inn. I was on a solo trip to Zion this time and I booked a cottage at this delightful inn. I spoke with Sharon the owner who was so easy to work with and secured my dates. I was able to check in early afternoon and my cottage was perfect. It was titled Temple of Sinawava. Nice and roomy with a huge king sized bed, a spa tub, refrigerator, microwave and privacy. The stay also included free breakfast at a local restaurant called Oscars. I was able to take advantage of this free offer on Sunday. Each cottage is uniquely decorated and named after various hikes and points of interest within Zion. One of the cottages titled Angels Landing is a 150 year old home. Sharon was kind enough to show me this vintage home complete with a creaking staircase. Loved it! The Inn has a jacuzzi which provided epic views of Springdale and Zion. I used it a couple times and had it all to myself. There is a sitting area with a fire pit and in the summer with all the trees in bloom, it must be wonderful to sit out there. I was cozy and comfortable here and really enjoyed my stay. I can't wait to return and I highly recommend if you are coming to Zion, book your stay here. You can thank me later. read more

Our first trip to beautiful Zion and had the pleasure of staying here. My husband initially tried to book the lodge in the park but they had no availability and boy, were we happy about that! This B&B is super charming, cute & comfy with lots of amenities. Lovely grounds, short walk to breakfast and/or coffee. The bed part - our room was very welcoming & thoughtfully decorated. We loved our stay at the Red Rock Inn - immaculately clean room very nicely furnished. Private and quiet room. Enjoyed the hot tub with the view up top. Breakfast at Oscar's was excellent. Beautiful views right out our front porch and the market right across the street - perfect for grabbing wine + snacks to enjoy the view. Sharon the manager struck the perfect balance between respecting our privacy and letting us enjoy our stay and being available for questions and we loved saying hi to her dog. Every inn should have a dog! The location is great - it was such an easy way for us to keep our bikes safe in our room and be only minutes away from the park. The property even has e-bikes you can use. Free shuttle you can catch right in town if you're hiking in the park. We had a wonderfully restful, scenic, peaceful beautiful stay and we loved how low key and accessible the property was. Sharon was also very responsive and kind with some followup concerns we had after our stay. We'll definitely be back! read more

Great place to stay. Came here for our 10 year wedding anniversary and red rock inn was perfect. Very quiet and cozy cottages. The cottages were actually bigger than I thought especially the bathroom (which was a nice surprise because usually wherever I stay the bathrooms where narrow- but not here) When we arrived we were greeted by Sharon and she was really nice and asked what were going to do while we were in Zion. We said the mediocre just hiking then going back home. She gave us 2 maps and highlighted recommended places to drive around and make sure we see in Zion and let me tell you my husband and I are so glad Sharon did that because I honestly think the places she recommended us to see and do made this trip 10 times better. You do get breakfast vochures for 2 places Oscar's & Porters. These 2 places are walking distance from the inn. We stayed for 2 days at the inn so we tried both places with our vochures. They were both really good for breakfast and I'll attach pictures of it in my review. Thank you so much Sharon and the staff at Red Rock Inn. A cute little B&B with only like 8 cottages/rooms in the heart of Springdale. There's also a hot tub on a little hill with lovely views of town and some of the rock formations/mountains and there's a shared sitting area with fire pits and a BBQ. The location can't be beat and there is parking for each cottage right there. The cottage was cute and nicely decorated and the bed was comfy and the jacuzzi tub was relaxing. However, there was some definitely wear and tear on the place and you can tell it's getting a bit old and needs some painting and dents in the door need fixing, etc. Also, we had a ceiling fan and wall AC/heater unit but it was really hard to get a reasonable temperature consistently (over the course of a night where it was about 85 degrees outside we fluctuated between being very hot and very cold). Also, the AC unit was incredibly loud both the fan and the cooling parts of it. The stay did include breakfasts for both of us for both days at Oscar's (just a couple doors down) and that was great. Each meal included a drink and basically any item on the menu! read more

We stayed in #8 the larger room overlooking the main street. It was very accommodating, clean and surprisingly quiet. Easy walk to restaurants. As a bonus we had our own private fire pit. Nice to sit outside under the stars. The owner was so gracious and showed us around the grounds. We didn't partake in the hot tub but heard from others it was delightful. First and most important, Sharon I just want to say you are an angel. Like an absolute gem and I mean it. Thank you. This place was an absolute dream, the most comfortable and welcoming feeling in the most beautiful spot. Sharon makes sure that literally EVERYTHING is taken care of and is very, very helpful with showing you where to visit at what times. This has by far been my favorite experience traveling with my gf and relaxing, but at the same time exploring. And the breakfast is amazing... like amazing. This is an awesome place to stay right down the road from Zion National Park. Location-wise, it's right on the main road, Route 9, that goes into Zion, and it's about a mile away from the entrance. It's nestled right within walking distance of a bunch of restaurants, coffee shops, shuttle stop, and other points of interest in town. The property is lovely--a bunch of cottages with great landscaping and a beautiful "backyard" spot with chairs to hang out and take in the view of the mountains on either side. The room was spacious, as was the bathroom (the tub had tons of space), clean, welcoming, and decorated with awesome photography/artwork of the area. What really sold me, and the reason I highly recommend this place, is that Sharon, the owner, is incredible. She talked to me all about the area and shared some awesome insider tips (several of which I took advantage of). I won't share any of them here--you'll have to book and get them from her. :-) Sharon was so nice, and they gave us a breakfast voucher to Oscar's Cafe, good for a full meal there, and that place is one of my favorites in town, and the staff spoke highly of Sharon there, too. Those were my favorite parts of the room to take advantage of after being at ZNP all day. The stay was comfortable, very quiet area, and there seemed to be just enough parking spots for guests. You have a personal patio in the back, a shared fire pit and grill, and a hot tub with nice views. Perfect location for riding your bike, taking a shuttle, or driving a few minutes to Zion National Park. We started the day with Starbucks in the Kurig and a complimentary tasty breakfast at Oscars. Pros: Great location- walking distance to everything you want super close to Zion. Beautiful views all around. Clean cabins- you can easily tell a lot of effort was put into the cleaning. This to include inside and outside the cabins. Spacious- not sure about the other cabins but the largest one available is the one I booked and I was more like a small apartment. Big kitchen too. Kitchen- well stocked with appliances, silverware, etc, so someone could stay weeks if they wanted to! Cons- Bed- comfortable pillows but a very firm mattress! Temperature- even with multiple ac units (one is pictured) it for some reason was really hard to keep the place cool. I was worried I was going to break the thing by running it too hard just to get the room in the low 70s. Shower- if you like your showers pretty hot, expect about an 8 minute shower at best. I settled with a warm shower and managed around 15min before it was cold. Okay for the big cons... Upstairs bathroom- a shower curtain of sorts (as pictured) in my opinion is insufficient as a form of privacy. In the cabin I stayed in there was a downstairs bathroom so we ended up just using that one. Seeing the curtain did provide some humor upon arrival though! Hot tub- the room I booked stated that a private spa tub was available with this room. Not only was there not a private spa there wasn't even a bathtub. The pictures of the spa are actually a hot tub on the other side of the hotel property available for everyone's use staying there. I have no idea how the room justifies the price without that feature (approx $220 a night for me on a weekday). The ENTIRE reason I chose this hotel was for the private tub advertised. The private spa is advertised on many sites that can be updated by the hotel if they so chose to. I found this to be false advertisement and stayed somewhere else the best night. I paid around $130 for a much better bed and bathroom set up elsewhere close by. For those interested in the fallout of this- I coordinated with Expedia (hotels.com) to let them know the situation. I checked out of the room after the first night at about 7am (I booked 2 nights). Even though there was a no cancellation policy and I had already paid for both nights, I was refunded for the 2nd night. I am okay with the resolve but think that further action should be taken for future guests (bathroom door and correct advertising). This was supposed to be a more romantic type trip I was taking and it ended up being more effort toward coordinating a way to get out of that hotel. Also, when we called the hotel staff to inform them that we thought we were supposed to have a private spa they just expressed to us that the spa doesn't get used often and that if a family/couple is in there then usually they get left alone. We would have better appreciated that conversation as recognizing that we were falsely advertise to rather than downplaying the situation. Additionally we were also told by hotel staff that there used to be a room that really did have a private spa tub, but it is no longer that way- it seems like the Angel's Landing suite is advertised as the room/cabin that no longer exists. I will mention that even though I never met the staff in person (covid), I found them to be friendly despite our above listed issues. Thanks for reading! read more

We found this place on a simple google search and man am I glad we did. This was one of the most enjoyable experiences I've had staying over night away from home. We got there early and spoke with the man and woman at the office, they gave us some great information that we really needed. They were very knowledgeable about the area and park. We were first timers at Zion and were clearly lost. They were happy to help and extremely friendly . After we hiked all day, our room was ready . We came back to a beautiful, cool, clean, quiet room. The wow factor was definitely the bathroom. Huge claw foot soaking tub and walk in shower with rain shower head. The water pressure was amazing after a long hike. The king size bed was comfy, the fridge kept things cool and the over ambience at night was something we needed to relax after a day at the park. We sat outside of our cottage and listened to the night sounds and looked at the stars. The place couldn't have been more perfect, we have already talked about staying there again. read more

Red rock inn is a beautiful inn located right in the heart of Springdale! I loved its proximity not only to Zion National Park, it also to local restaurants, gift shops, galleries, etc. M family of five stayed in the Angels Landing suite, which my girls loved. All three for downstairs in the two sofa beds provided. The kitchen was very large with all that we needed. There was an individual keurig machine with k pods. Sharon and Micah were friendly and during the current situation with covid, they found ways to communicate minimally. I couldn't get into he office both times I tried to contact someone, but they did have their numbers posted. The bummer for us was the upstairs room, as it was pretty hot while were were there and we found that both nights it took a long time to cool down, even with running the AC unit in the room all day. My husband was pretty warm! The cottage is tastefully decorated and I loved the outdoor seating all around the property. Spa is up the hill and maybe big enough for 3-4 people depending on size. I booked my room on Expedia and got a fair price, but I did get charged for an extra person each night, even though it says the room accommodates 5? We only received two breakfast vouchers per day, so we had 4 total, but I had 5 people. That was a little disappointing. All in all, it was a cute inn, close to Zion, and very quiet-not a lot of people around and very tranquil setting. read more

Our experience here is phenomenal! The room is so nicely decorated and we realized that each room has different decor and style! Very comfy and relaxing. There is outdoor seating where you can enjoy stargazing as well. What makes our experience amazing is the main keeper, Sharon. She shared so much of her knowledge and passion about Zion - provided us with super useful tips and secret spots in Zion! She always reminds us to drink plenty of water and insists that she gives us the coldest water she has in the fridge. Super sweet! If you stay here, you'll get your breakfast at the Oscar's cafe just down the road. You can get any breakfast item of your choice and a beverage for free except for latte. This is a lovely little Inn located in the charming town of Springdale just outside one of the best national Parks in America -- Zion. Red Rock has a great location and very nice premises. We enjoyed the fire pits and hot tub. The highlight here is the manager, Sharon. Sharon is one of the sweetest, most generous and attentive people you could find.....much less as the manager of an Inn. I cannot say enough good things about the Red Rock Inn B&B. Starting with the owners. Our first morning there it had snowed 5 inches which was very unseasonal for them. They were asking all the guests if they needed to stay an extra night to be safe or if they had a car that could safely get down the canyon pass. The food at Oscars (which is one of the two places you can get a free breakfast at through the inn) was PHENOMENAL. The room was clean and the sheets were nice and warm. My wife took me here for my birthday as our base camp to explore Zion. The hotel is ~1 mile from the park entrance, and is central to all the shops & restaurants in town, all in walking distance. What really makes this place special, though, is Sharon and Trevor. Our original plans of backpacking in from Lava Point to the Grotto overnight fell through on account of the intense heat wave. We found ourselves at the gateway to Zion with no idea what to do... Trevor (who I have now nicknamed "The Zion Concierge"), after listening to what we were looking for (solitude, minimal crowds, sights to behold), spent well over an hour with us going over different hiking/biking options in the park. After we landed on the itinerary for both days, he printed us out trail maps, driving directions, and reference materials specific to each hike. We followed his itinerary to a "T," and ended up doing 4 hikes/activities that he recommended over the course of 2 days and a night. I can honestly say that after having visited the spots outlined by the Zion Concierge, I'm actually glad that our backpacking plans fell through as we wouldn't have had such a complete experience in the park otherwise. Seriously - there is no way that we could have put together a trip like this w/out help from a local who knows the park inside & out. Since Trevor claims that many of these routes are his personal favorites and remain relatively unknown, I won't reveal his secrets here... While the rooms here aren't cheap (and really, none of the hotels worth staying at in Springdale are...), if you factor in the added bonus of Trevor's knowledge of and obvious passion for Zion (and let's not forget Sharon - she has some great insider tips, also) and his willingness to share, this little gem of a B&B is well, well worth the cost. If we ever make it out this way again, we'll be back. read more

Perfect location, great views, and so close to all the Springdale restaurants and shops. A short shuttle to Zion as well. We stayed here for 5 nights and could not have been happier. The location is ideal with being right on the main road of Springdale. It is a short drive to the park or short walk to get to a shuttle. A short walk to any of the many good restaurants in the area for dinner or to any of the great shops/galleries in the area if you want to shop. Basically it is a short walk from anything you would want/need. We stayed in the newly remodeled cottage #3 and it was lovely and very comfortable (perfect size for the two of us). The cottages are off the main road so it is very quiet and feels like a little oasis - especially with the nice new landscaping! The cottage has a king-sized bed, a nice seating area with two comfy chairs and table, a nice space for luggage, and a good sized bathroom with whirlpool tub (did not use the whirlpool tub...but the shower was great). There was also a nice seating area outside for the two of us to sit and enjoy a glass of wine or a cold beer after a day of hiking while watching the stunning sunsets in Zion. A perfect way to end each day. Our hosts were extremely welcoming and helpful. They really helped make our trip special. Trevor and Sharon went out of their way to help us with our trip planning and pointed us in the direction of many great trails that we may have otherwise missed, told us what spots were great for dinner, etc. We truly enjoyed visiting with them every day and really hope to visit them again. On a side note: Breakfast is no longer being delivered in baskets but instead vouchers are provided to have breakfast at one of the nearby spots (Oscar's was the one we went to most days). This was great since you could get anything you wanted on the breakfast menu. One item to note is that the portion sizes are huge there. The Pork Chili Verde Breakfast burrito could have fed me for three days. All of the breakfasts there were delicious. In summary - I would not hesitate in recommending the Red Rock Inn to anyone. We hope to return here in the future to continue exploring Zion National Park and to visit with Trevor and Sharon. read more

Room - The good: Clean and has flat screen tv with DVD player (with a good selection of DVDs you can get from the front office 24 hours, around the clock). - The bad: The A/C is very loud and the pillows aren't very comfortable. Location - Supermarket is just across the street - Walking distance to a few restaurants and close to shuttle stop; About a mile from Zion Nat'l Park Service - Breakfast was ready each morning at the time we asked for. Karen was accommodating and served our breakfast at 7:30am instead of the normal 8-9am breakfast schedule. Full breakfast was served outside the room and was more food than you can eat. - John and Karen were helpful with suggesting hikes and areas in the park to visit and places to eat. read more

These newly remodeled cabins are very very nice. Eileen and her son are super friendly and extremely knowledgeable about Zion Park. They recommended we rent bikes for the park but get the shuttle to do the uphill- what a fantastic suggestion and a beautiful way to enjoy the park. Since the main road is closed to cars, there's essentially no traffic when riding bikes. Their suggestions for restaurants were spot-on and Eileen even called to make reservations on our behalf. The room included a very nice breakfast at Oscars cafe (next door). Cabins have gorgeous views and are right in the heart of Springdale. This is a small, family owned business and they really appreciated our phone call to let them know we'd be arriving late. That was when they also hooked us up with dinner reservations as they knew everywhere would be packed! Would highly recommend a stay here. read more

Absolutely loved our stay here! Our cottage was so cozy, it was hard to leave to go enjoy the park. Not only was the inside of our cottage great but we enjoyed the outside area as well. We had a small patio in front but also took advantage of a little sitting area they had up on a higher part of the property. I wish we could have stayed longer than just the one night we were there. The property is centrally located so once we parked we didn't have to drive any where. The shuttle stops into the park and great restaurants and shops were all within walking distance. DONT BOTHER LOOKING AT ANY OTHER HOTELS IN ZION. STAY HERE! My husband and I were absolutely blown away by this place! The rooms are SUPER clean, beautifully decorated, and flat out amazing!! The bed is extremely comfortable, the linens smell amazing, and the pillows are just right (soft, yet keep their firmness). The room has a microwave, Keurig, and mini fridge which were super helpful for keeping groceries on hand in the room. The bathroom is beautiful, jet tub, multi-setting shower head, and lots of counter space! If that isn't enough, the owners are extremely nice and helpful. At check in, Micah gave us a full run down of the best places to hike in Zion, the best restaurants, and how to use the shuttle (where to get in and off). In addition, they have a move collection of like 120 different awesome movie (everything from hotel Rwanda to lord of the rings) DVD players are easy to use in the room and the TV is a great size for chill in bed and watching a movie after a long hike. If all this isn't amazing enough, you also get breakfast vouchers every morning for two different restaurants that are within walking distance from the hotel. Book fast as there are only 8 cottages on this property! You many think oh it's smaller, but trust me it's soooi worth staying here! read more

We could walk to a variety of awesome restaurants, we were a minute away from the park, and we were also a minute away from the company we used to book our tours (Zion Rock and Mountain Guides... check them out). -The room was so cute! We actually spent our first night in a cabin with no hot tub (the hot tub cabin was not available the first night)... but then we moved to the cabin with the hot tub for our last two nights. Moving cabins was super easy to do and we are glad we did it! The hot tub was amazing... and that cabin was so great. -The views off the patio of the cabin were incredible. The breakfast basket in the morning is so great... we loved sitting on our patio eating breakfast and enjoying the views. -The owners are so sweet and accommodating! They were friendly and always came to talk to us and ask about our day. They did everything possible to make sure that we were happy and enjoying our stay. This is the cutest cottage ever! Really well done with thoughtful details such as a kuerig with pods and cream! They thought of everything including charging all our gadgets! It's right in the middle of town and they give you a detailed map of how to navigate the canyon. CANT wait to get an early start in the morning! read more
