My 10 year old son started at Red Rock Martial Arts 5 months ago. My husband and I are amazed at the progress he has made. He was having issues with self-confidence and bullying at school. Attending class and learning Tang Soo Do has given him confidence. He is learning he can do hard things. We are also so impressed by the instructors who know his name and are very well trained in martial arts. They teach the children in a fun way yet also require discipline and respect from the students. I also love how they incorporate character building themes into each class. I have been in the Martial Arts for almost ten years. Mr. Gubler is a good teacher, who has been involved with my training for about eight of the ten years I've been training. He is very experienced and professional with high goals and expectations for the members of his studio, but helps each to gain the skills needed to progress in the World Tang Soo Do Association. While Mr. Gubler can come across harshly and seem angry when he knows that higher-ranking students aren't doing there best, he knows his material and does his best to help students succeed if they are willing to work for it. He received his training through Ross Lindsay, who is in my opinion the greatest martial arts instructor in the world. I believe that Mr. Gubler is doing his best to follow this example, making him an absolutely incredible teacher of the Martial Arts. Go Red Rock!!! read more
