Then came along Prescott Valley Dog Squad (PVDS ) and Donna the trainer! Found them totally serendipitously by driving down Florentine one afternoon, made a call, talked to Lisa and went in for a "meet and greet". What a difference that board and train made with our pups! The do follow most commands, being 6 months old, they don't believe that they have to follow all the rules all the time. However, it's a work in progress and we as parents have to be consistent and work with them. But, Donna gave us a great base to work from. It was hard having them gone for 17 days, but better behaved pups and worth the fee and differences in them.

They were able to make an appointment for the following day and when I called to push it back a half an hour because I was running late, they cheerfully did so. The main reason for 5 stars is the way Pal looked, felt and smelled when I picked him up. He's a heavy shedder and they somehow succeeded in removing all of it and he looked the best I've ever seen after being groomed. On top of that is their very reasonable price which included a nail trim and ear cleaning. No more Petsmart for Pal. We're going to CCC!

The previous owner was extremely personable, polite and displayed gratitude for her customers. We never had any issues until the second owner took over. At first, she was great, very bland personality but did a good job so we continued to patronize her business. About 9 months ago I was on my way to take my dog to get groomed and he had started to develop symptoms similar to he ate something bad or was ill. He began excessively vomiting and seemed very lethargic. He had not ever experienced anything like this before and it was so sudden so I became concerned took him to the vet and they told me he needs to rest and lots of fluids so I had to cancel my appointment. Of course, I missed the appointment as I was at the vet, it was the first time I have ever missed an appointment. The vet said he needed rest and didn't think it would be wise to take him in case he had the flu. So I called the owner apologizing profusely and she was not understanding she did not care about the well-being Of my animal. I did not want to risk getting any other pets sick! You'd think she would appreciate me not wanting to possibly get other dogs sick. Fast forward to this incident I had an appointment scheduled for February 18th at 9 am written both on my paper calendar and my phone calendar. I walk in and she abrasively says your appointment yesterday and I apologized and said there must have been a misunderstanding because I wrote it down on two calendars. *** SIDE NOTE***this same incident has happened to SEVERAL customers according to her yelp reviews and googles reviews so I am NOT the only customer this has happened to as she claimed I was the only one ) *** She goes into saying all these unprofessional and abrasive things and begins to make comments about my life how I need to manage my and priorities differently. Mind you, I run several businesses and a family so that was not relevant obviously she felt the need to pick apart someone to make herself feel better. I understand how challenging it can be to run an independent small business however it's all about being professional, having grace, post your rules and regulations in case of a missed appointment as salons and other groomers so. She obviously seems to have deeper issues and I believe that is a reason why she hashed out so incredibly volatile. I will never bring my business to doggie delight and all the other customers who I referred years ago to get their pets groomed as a result of my experience will take their business elsewhere.

We needed last minute care for our longhair Dachshund puppy, Princess Leia, and they made it possible. My son's girlfriend was able to share Leia's vaccination records electronically, and Johnny's confirmed our booking right away. We checked her in around 10 am the next day and picked her up that afternoon, and the price was very fair. They also sent photos and videos that gave us real peace of mind. This time my groomer was Sidney (not sure on spelling), and before grooming she called to ask permission to shave underneath my husky and around his chest area. I agreed to THAT only. At no point was I told she intended to shave his entire body. I picked up my husky completely shaved down, which was shocking and honestly devastating. Huskies have a double coat, and shaving them is generally not recommended unless medically necessary. If a full shave was being considered, that absolutely should have been clearly discussed and approved beforehand. I'm honestly embarrassed to even take him out for walks right now because of the stares and comments I know we're going to get. Beyond appearance, I'm also genuinely concerned about his sun protection and ability to properly regulate his temperature now that his coat has been shaved off. My issue is not with the salon as a whole, since I've had positive experiences there previously. My issue is specifically with the lack of communication and consent from this groomer. I trusted that my instructions would be followed, and they were not. I'm extremely disappointed and hope management addresses this so it doesn't happen to another owner.

G2GO gave me the peace of mind and comfort right from the jump that people who make their pets family like I do, need. The pricing was fair and competitive for the area. She took a few minutes to meet our dog so that he would feel comfortable with her. Shayna asked good questions and listened to all of my input. Our dog was a little matted since it had been several weeks since his last grooming plus he had been swimming a few times. Shayna took the time to get the mats out without shaving him. He looks terrific. Shayna arrived on time with her grooming rig. She was very considerate of our neighbors in where she parked it. Her grooming trailer was neat and clean and air conditioned. She has a hot water heater so that the dogs can be bathed in warm (not cold!) water. I will definitely be booking with Shayna again.
