Fantastic adventure! We had a blast on our scooter tour! The scenery is gorgeous and seeing it from scooters and stops along the way is great fun. The staff however, is what shines the most! Scooter Steve and Bryce were our guides and they were amazing. From constant updates on hotel pickup, to additional stops as well as time in the car they kept us entertained. They pointed out sights on the car ride and even played a fun trivia game on the way back to the hotel. We were with a group of ladies from Jersey and they took the time to train everyone, and for the ones that were not comfortable, gave them options to ride with them on a scorer and in the chase van. One lady was uncomfortable with the cars half way through and they parked the scooter she was on and brought he back in the van. I had the best time on this tour! From start to finish it was non stop fun! My tour guides were very professional and informative! Most fun I've had in Vegas and I'm a frequent visitor! living in California, my family and I go to Vegas often! Taking this tour was something I'd never thought I'd do but I'm so glad I did! I definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to let their hair down and do something different other than hanging out on the Las Vegas strip. Get out and explore and take this tour! You won't regret it! Tip: January I believe is usually cooler weather, however we were blessed with some really nice weather that day! I would still recommend layering up, however you can remove your layers should you run into warm weather as I did :) bonus there's a small storage area on the scooter to store your stuff which was cool. Scooters: please don't let your fears or doubts of not being able to ride a scooter or afraid of not being able to keep up with the tour guide/small groups on this tour. It's super easy to learn and we had scooter lessons before we headed out on the tour which was very helpful getting familiar riding the scooter. Good news is that the roads are super wide and hardly any one on them so you have plenty of room to swerve should you need to haha. Also, there's a van that follows behind the group during the tour if you happen to not be able to keep up or not confident enough to ride a scooter. You can ride in the van but that won't be the case because it's super easy to maneuver the scooter I'm sure everything will be a breeze as it was for me and I've only been on a scooter once before this! Our awesome tour guides provide a bottle of water and a protein bar which was a life saver because I didn't bring my water and I was hungry too lol so that definitely clutch for them to provide that for the group. We booked the tour online And we were picked up by clay. Our guide clay was friendly and entertaining and made sure that we are confident about riding the scooter before hitting the road. We had so much fun riding the scooter which is by the way more fun than the bike and could be easier than the bike if you already know how to ride a bike. Scooter Steve was well versed on the Vegas scene and Red rock canyon was nothing short of amazing -4 different stops , 3 bathroom stops , complimentary water, jackets (which was a great surprise both the weather being in the 60's in May and also the amount of wind on the ride). This tour would be the perfect chill off in the summer! The scooters were faster than I thought- goes up to 80mph but with the terrain 40mph is fast enough for those needing a little thrill. I've been to Vegas a few times and was super stoked to get off the strip for the afternoon. Justin picked us up on time in clean van. We had such a great time during this tour! It was definitely the highlight of our trip. We were looking at Covid-friendly, outdoor activities near Vegas and happened upon Red Rock Scooter Tours. We were sold by the glowing reviews! The tour was so much fun and one of the most memorable tours I've taken anywhere. Justin, our guide, was the best - his passion for the history and appreciation for the natural elements of Red Rock Canyon made learning about this amazing place all the more worthwhile. He answered all of our questions and gave us tips for future trips back to the area for hiking. We made several stops along the scenic route and took in the gorgeous views, and we were given plenty of time to take pictures and appreciate the scenery on our own. We were even offered hot chocolate and snacks midway through the tour :) The scooter ride was also exhilarating!!! We went during December in ~55 degree weather, and thankfully Justin provided us with gloves (along with a helmet, of course!). I had never ridden a scooter before but got the hang of it rather quickly, and it was a very, very fun ride. This tour was a blast! The tour guides were very polite, knowledgeable and friendly. The tour itself was around 13 miles in the Canyon. I would highly recommend the early tour around 8AM as it gets really hot in the desert. One of the tour guides was named Steve, he lead the tour and also does a great tutorial on the scooter. The other tour guide drove the van to stop other vehicles while the group passed certain intersections. We also took a bit of a walk and learned about different vegetation and the tribes that once lived there. The tour guides stopped several times for everyone to take pictures and even would help take pictures of the group members. During the stops the guide would give us additional information about the Red Rock Canyon. The Scooter tour guides also gave everyone nicely chilled bottle water during the stops. Overall, the Red Rock Canyon Scooter tour is fantastic. read more

While Ihave lived here for some time I still hadn't spent much time in Red Rock. When my brother and niece came to visit he set us up for a morning scooter tour. This was one of the best times I have had here. They spend some time teaching you how to use the scooter and getting you comfortable riding it in the parking lot. Then, once everyone has the hang of it, they take you out on the senic loop. They make four stops at interesting locations and are happy to take pictures of your group for you. Once you finish up they take you back to the parking lot if you drove there yourself or back to your hotel. Wow, what a morning! I'm still smiling as I am telling my friends about the experience! I've been to Red Rock Canyon about 25 times and didn't think there was a better way to experience it until today. On a scooter. I am a fairly inexperienced scooter rider, and with a quick lesson to start, I was confident after just 5 minutes on the open road. Trust me when I tell you anyone can do this, these are simple and easy to use and so much fun to ride. I never felt nervous or uneasy after the first minute of practice in the parking lot. The views are indescribable, and I honestly had a smile on my face for the entire 13 mile loop, even though its a view I am lucky enough to see a few times a month because I live in Las Vegas. I have traveled a lot of the world and taken many tours, and this is at the top of my list. A VEGAS MUST-DO! We were so excited for this tour (full disclosure- we went on the sister tour which was in a van but provided by the same company) and it did not disappoint! Jason aka JT was our driver/guide and was so friendly and funny, he made our whole trip a blast. We got picked up nice and early and spent a good 3ish hours driving around the 13 mile loop through the park and had 4 stops to get out and do a little walking while JT provided tons of info about the park/geology/and native tribes. He also took pictures for us which was so helpful instead of just taking selfies! I think the part I liked most was JT's enthusiasm for his job and the Red Rocks park, you could tell he just loved this place and everything about being a guide there. We hit the road (minimal traffic and paved) and I loved every minute of it. A lot of grinning and weeee-ing. Really great opportunity to try scooters on a low pressure and safe environment. There is a reason these guys have such "glowing reviews" (stated by another reviewer) and I agree whole-heartedly! My husband and I chose this tour because he wanted to drive the scooter and I would be his passenger. After making the reservation, we received an email that notified us of a 250-lb combined weight limit and we were offered a refund if we chose to cancel. Ultimately, after communicating by email with Ms. Rachelle, they agreed to allow me to try out driving my own scooter and if I didn't feel comfortable, I could travel in the van (that follows behind the riders) and they would refund the "passenger" fee. It was great meeting Justin (the warm and friendly van driver who picked us up in the morning) and Scooter Steve (the knowledgeable tour guide). They are a comedic duo that gave me several belly laughs at each stop on the tour. Obviously, I decided to go on the tour and that was because they made sure to review the mechanics of riding a scooter (it was my first time) with the entire group before we started off on the tour; they ensured that each rider felt and demonstrated competence in driving before we made our way out on the tour. And oh the VIEW!!!! It's such a beautiful natural resource. We stopped 4 times (I think) for pictures and because it was my first time on a scooter I didn't spend as much time as I would have liked enjoying the view on the way from one stop to the other. The only negative of the trip was that I didn't dress warmly enough but the tour guides were prepared and had gloves and a jacket for me to borrow - a risk in these Covid days but it was worth it to not have the cold be a greater distraction. I look forward to my next trip to Las Vegas because this Red Rock Scooter Tour will definitely be on the top of my list! SO MUCH MORE WORTH THE MONEY we spent rather than that spent going to dinner at the Top of the World Restaurant... but that's fodder for another review (side eyes).
