I talk to ALL the bouncers, the guy with the metal detecting wand (really?!), the chola at coat check, the bartender and all the smarmy managers only to find out the manager who was on duty Saturday night WASN'T EVEN THERE and wouldn't be until the following night... so I should come back and talk to him again. Fast forward another day - Cool, dudes. Well, I filed a police report for my phone. It wasn't even a cool or fancy phone you can sell on craigslist. Just a phone that gets me in touch with my clients, who are my family. A phone with 628 irreplaceable photos of my family, friends and kids on a memory card. A phone that I can't afford to replace, because I was barely making ends meet as it was. I spent over an hour trying to transfer them to my sister through their ticketing app. Nothing worked. When I called the main number for the theater for help, the manager picked up. She was immediately condescending and rude. She said, "Dear, I'm in the MIDDLE of OPENING and I'M the MANAGER and you can just go to the box office people and WORK IT OUT WITH THEM," and hung up on me. I never asked for a manager. I just needed help. They clearly don't have a real support system. No one was available to handle a simple ticketing issue. After everything I spent to attend, including hotel and airfare, being dismissed like that was unacceptable.
