Our neighbor used to run with Steve Ridler in the day and suggested we stop by while visiting Spokane. We met Steve and his son before the show and they are such humble folks. The opener was pretty good too. The bartenders do a great job with the cocktails. At one point I looked back and the bar area was packed. The dueling pianos and drums don't start until 9PM and then the crowds converge. Looked like a loty of local college kids frequent this place. Good to see many of the younger crowd appreciate the piano pop favorites. Chaz, Steve's son and drummer, really belts out the country classics and looks like he is having a great time playing with dad. Stopped in New Years and loved seeing Carson Rhodes - epic! You'll experience a mostly younger, inconsiderate crowd so you'll have to be aware if you get up from your seat as they'll likely take it! Came here last night on the fly and it was such a fun time. The dueling pianos were incredible as was the drummer (s). One drummer sang which is always fun to see. They swapped out a few drummers but the piano players didn't skip a beat. Being an amateur musician myself I was just completely blown away at how they could spontaneously play so many covers at request with some of their own spin on songs. These guys are crazy talented. The crowd was enjoying it, dancing, singing along. Eclectic mix across generations and genres. No masks on anywhere so hopefully everyone is vaccinated (I'm a nurse too ;-) read more

We arrived super early to this place as one of our stops on a night out on the town. Since we were literally the only ones in the place, we spoke with one of the servers about when the show would start. So he was kind enough to reserve the booth near the stage area so we could come back around 7-8pm when the show would start. Coming back after 7:30, there was a duo act that was opening for the piano guys. We actually enjoyed the vocals and music they were playing. It gave a good set up before the main event. Our Server, Kai, was spot on all night in getting us drinks and recommending things since this was our first time there. By 8:30 - 9 the place was pretty packed. I was thankful there was a good dance floor in the front for people to get up and enjoy the music. The piano duo came on stage and they started out with a few funny jokes and how things worked there. I love how they encouraged Britney Spears requests as a joke and that was one of the first songs requested. The two played well off of each other. Needless to say, we stayed most the night, dancing, drinking and putting in a ton of requests for a variety of songs, all of which the piano guys had no problems playing. I especially liked that they had a drummer to go along with the piano's, and he had quite a wit about him in between playing. Then Kai got up and sang a song, which was unexpected! She has a great voice, we enjoyed the performance! The drinks were all delicious, if a little on the sweet side, and not too terribly pricey. This is great place to go if you want to hang with friends and belt out much loved songs. Perfect for birthdays, bachelorette parties, anniversaries! Kitschy drink list with drinks named after singers. We had the Carol King which was sweet just like the singer's melodies. A security guard in a cowboy hat kicked my buddy out because he was talking to his 19 YEAR OLD GIRLFRIEND and got jealous. When i asked why, he just kept saying 'don't worry about it'. I asked him several times and that was his response. This is a joke of an establishment, and their 'security' is a sorry joke made up of middle schoolers. They could offer nothing but a 'idk man come back tomorrow it will be better'.this was after we spent 100+ dollars at their establishment. I went here for a birthday party and had a really bad experience. Basically, we were expecting awesome entertainment and a relaxing atmosphere on an unexpectedly snowy night. I had just returned from Fort Worth where we went to an AMAZING dueling piano bar, so my expectations were high. First problem was the service. We came a little later because we were finishing up dinner somewhere else, so our group was already seated. When we got there, our server came to us immediately and I didn't know what drink I wanted yet, so I told her to give us a few minutes. She never came back, after I waited literally 15-20 min. That time passed by because we were chatting and kept wondering if she would ever come back to even ask if anyone needed another drink. Eventually, we just got up and walked to the bar and ordered there, because she never was in sight to even wave her down. When we sat down with our drinks, she saw us later in the night with drinks already, so she kept ignoring us because we didn't order from her, and never came to our side of the table anymore. Very rude and downright unapologetic. We ended up leaving early after finishing our drinks because of the music. We came for the dueling pianos, but couldn't handle it because they had the speakers on so loud, it probably would cause permanent hearing loss. It was not like this at all at the piano bar down south. This place definitely has some kinks to take care of, but let's just say, I am never going back here again. read more

My friend set up a night out here for my birthday, and it was a bit underwhelming. For one, they were incredibly pushy about making us pre-pay cover for a minimum number of our party and be there by a certain time, but we got there on time - and no one was charged a cover. It felt as if we would have been fine to just show up. Then, even though my friend had paid for the table and the musicians made a point to ask about my birthday before they started, they never mentioned it again or asked me for a request or anything. It was extra insulting because they brought two other girls up for their "VIP" birthdays. I don't care about being the birthday princess, but I felt bad because my friend was totally ripped off for setting it up. Apparently, nothing happens here without greasing everyone's palms... twice. (Plus, we never got that memo!) Musically, it was fine. The music was really loud, but the musicians did a good job. I particularly liked the older man who played guitar as a warm up. One recommendation is that giving drunks instruments (uggggh cowbell!) is a horrible idea. One woman wandered all around with a cowbell and zero rhythm. Please leave the music to the professionals. Service was very slow, but friendly. The mixed drinks were on the sweet side, so beware if that's not your thing. (And do not order a margarita!) They have a decent selection of beer and wine, but oddly no sparkling (Also, the menu is totally different online, so don't bother looking ahead!) All in all, it was fun for once, but it was all about dropping stupid amounts of cash, and that totally wasn't worth it. Finally went here after living in Spokane 7 months :) Its a fun place, decent amount of seating, bar had lots of options, they have a shuffleboard (!!!) and the music was fun. They actually play what the audience requests on little paper slips (that you have to include a tip with). The musical abilities were great - very cool to see how talented they were on the pianos. Vocally the songs were very different than the covers (more like a wedding band) but still good and very fun. read more

Visited on 4/1/22. $10 cover charge. They had a guitar guy from about 7 to 9pm and then the piano team came out. Singers had great voices and they could play a very wide range of songs. We went to the comedy show and it was the least funny thing I've EVER seen in a show. The expectation wasn't super high for a free show but OMG... awful. I kept hoping we could sneak out but we didn't and couldn't. Everyone was gross and the topics horrendous. We have been here when it was Gibliano's and have been twice now that it is The Ridler. It gets crowded, but that is what happens when you are doing good business. There is an opening act before the dueling piano's and it is enjoyable. The dueling piano's kick in and they are so much fun!! They can play just about anything, and requests are taken and met. The staff are friendly and stay very busy!! There are times it is interactive and the staff will sing along with the musicians. You can rent the VIP section for your group and they take good care of you. The dance floor gets crowded, but yet again that happens when people are having a great time. Stopped in here after having dinner at Churchill's with my boo to cap off the night (Tuesday night/Dueling Piano's). We didn't feel like drinking spirits so she had a root beer and I opted for a coffee. They both hit the spot. Our sever was very pleasant and quick which was surprising on such a packed night. The crowd was fun and the performers were on point. We had a blast! To make things even better...when we went to cash out there was no charge since it was just a soda and a coffee. I couldn't believe it but they said they do that for "designated drivers". The piano bar was super fun! There is not much room but it was not overly crowded when I went. We hung around the bar and then we we're able to get a table in about 20 minutes. It was a really fun and live atmosphere, all kinds of different people. We apparently went on country night so we didn't really know any songs but it was still a lot of fun. They do play SOME requested songs but the majority of the show is just them playing whatever they choose.
