This a great place to go and get away from all the BS and hype about sex in Vegas. Prostitution is illegal in Clarke County after all so all you tourist in town expecting to get laid need to wisen up. The Red Rooster is a swingers party place, which means you have a place full of like-minded souls and scoring might be a good bet, but definitely not a sure thing. Sunday nights are fun, because everyone is wearing their birthday suits for the most part as it is hot tub night. A great place to go hang out naked and people watch or participate if your heart desires. I was there on a Sunday recently and made a hook up in the hot tub that culminated on a big round cushion in the group room. I have my great Vegas story to tell back home for sure. If skiddish about getting naked, go on one of the other nights when birthday suits are not the norm. Visited Red Rooster for the first time on a Tuesday. Being that it was the middle of the week we understood that it wasn't going to be hype, but seeing that it was Las Vegas we were hoping for a little something. The fact that it was super slow wasn't the most disappointing it was the questionable smell of mold and old house that had me done. The house was old, the beds looked like they were from a garage sale or Goodwill. The old box TV playing porn from the 70's had the opposite effect on my vibe. The volunteers were friendly but ended up closing early due to it being so slow. Waste of time and money. We will not return! My boyfriend and I decided we wanted to experience a swingers club so we started checking out what was available to us here in Las Vegas. After reading many, many reviews of the clubs here in town we decided the Red Rooster would be a great spot for us to try. Being a transgender woman, I decided to call ahead of time to ensure I would be accepted and also check on which level of donation I would be required to make to enter with my boyfriend. I was told, as long as my ID says I am female, we be asked to make a couples donation and allowed to enter as a couple. We arrived at the club around midnight on a Saturday and found parking. The street was lined with cars so we had to park a bit away and hike in. Once we opened the door, we were greeted by the owner, Mike, who checked our ID's and took our $30 donation as a couple and off we went. The first thing we ran into was the bar so we handed over our bottle of Vodka and had a drink made for each off us. The dance floor was popping and people were mingling and having a good time. The feeling was very much like a house party in full swing. We found some seats and took in the scene for a few minutes while we finished our first drink. After having a second drink poured, we decided to give ourselves a tour of the place so we started our exploration out by the pool. There we several groups sitting at patio furniture enjoying each others company but no one in the water. Just off of the pool was a group room with 6 or 7 bed spread out across the room. Unfortunately there was no action in this room, just a couple of guys talking to each other and checking me out as we walked through. We decided to check out the upstairs next. This area is clearly marked as a couples area. We paid the couples rate when we walked in so we should have access to this area. Upstairs was crowded. I saw a seat open on a sofa so I grabbed my boyfriends hand and lead him to the couch where we sat and talked for a few minutes. Having been to a swingers club in the past, I took the initiative and started a conversation with the couple sitting on the couch next too us. Even knowing about my gender status, we hit it off and talked for about 45 minutes before we needed to refill our drinks. My boyfriend and I headed down to get cocktails and returned about 5 minutes later with our drinks as well as a cocktail we brought for the lady in the couple we were talking to. About 10 minutes after we returned to our seats and conversation, we were interrupted by one of the staff asking us to get up and talk to him near the middle of the room. This is the point things got out of hand... While standing in the middle of room, the staff member, Steve, asked in a voice audible by the entire room, if I had ever been a male. Having seen discrimination several times in the past two years I have lived 100% as a girl, I simply reached into my purse and provided Steve with my ID which states I am female. He anounced that he didn't care what my ID said and that because I was male, my boyfriend and I were not considered a couple and were told we had to leave the couples area. I hadn't even told him I was a transgender woman at this point and was insulted to the point of tears because of his blatant and public discrimination against my partner and I. This was the most embarrassing moment I have faced since I have begun my life as a woman. On my way out the door I saw the owner and talked to him about what had happened upstairs. He told me the house policy was that 2 men were not considered to be a couple and thus not allowed upstairs. After telling him about my phone call a week prior in which I was told my ID would dictate my sex and being charged a couples rate when we walked in, he apologized and told Steve, who happened to be in the area to allow us back upstairs. Steve replied to the owner of the house, his boss, that he would not allow two men upstairs and also that he didn't care what my ID said. He was really trying to drive his point home now. I started to walk out the door with the owner apologizing about what had happened. My parting words were that he needed to get control of his staff. Two stars. This is a swingers club. Compared to the other clubs I have been to on my own, this is probably the best place to meet another couple who is into swinging. This is the reason I didn't give this place one star. Not a single patron had a problem with me from the point I entered until the point I left. I received plenty of smiles and winks indicating the clientele was perfectly accepting of me. The owner told me he couldn't tell I was a transgender woman. I am knocking off stars because Mike has allowed a bigoted member of his staff to impose their own opinion rather the opinion and dream of the owner. Don't get me wrong, this place is pretty fun. However has more negatives than positives. Friday crowds are pretty slow not much going on ,Saturday is much busier. They (security )also decided to start knocking on our private room while playing with another couple after 15 mins and then ever 5 mins after. Later to find out there is only a 20 min max time in the room unless of course you want to tip them same amount of money you can get a nice room for on hotels now app. Another major problem is all the single guys in there that think they can touch and do what they want whenever . Fridays should allow singles and Saturday not. Last, the rooms upstairs for couples only makes you undress in front of everyone before you can go to the rooms up there. We went on New Year's weekend expecting a great time. On the cab ride out we were told it is a great fun place about 70% locals and 30% tourist. It is about a 30 dollar cab ride from the strip each way and 30per couple to get in to the establishment. When we arrived the driver introduced us to the owners and we were given a tour by a very nice gentleman. However this is when it went to spiral downhill. They did have a buffet dinner which was not bad. The website said the average age was 30 -50. I would say the average age was 50 plus this night. In addition don't go expecting beautiful people unless you are into people easily over 200 pounds. I would say the average weight was well over 250 and if they charged by the pound they would make a fortune. There was also a LARGE number of single men ( all well over 55-60 and NOT ATTRACTIVE REALLY CREEPY). They did have a couple area which was where we choose to spend a majority of the time. We could see all the comings and goings. While there we saw 4-5 couples including us that were attractive. I assume they were tourist as well. One couple stayed for about an hour and then left. My wife and I were just there on the 16th of January. It was a lot of fun. There web sight is pretty good about explaining things. I called them before so I would know some of the rules. They were very friendly and helpful. You can ask them anything about their facility and they give you straight answers. When we got there they were very friendly (the staff) there must have been about 200 people there all ages and sizes. If you have any questions do not be afraid to ask they will gladly answer and give you tips so you do not break any rules. There are only a couple anyway. Things really get steamy at about 12 midnight on. Upstairs is a real treat but you have to be a couple to go up there. That does not mean it does not get steamy downstairs. I am not sure but I think a couple could be male and female plus on or two. Could also mean female female. Someone said you had to arrive as a couple to go up there not sure because I did see some threesomes go up stairs. So just ask. Everyone was very friendly. A lot of repeat customers but they did not make you feel left out if it was your first time. I would recommend it to anyone even if you are just thinking about this kind of adventure. We were in Las Vegas recently and thought that we should try out the legendary Red Rooster. It was a Monday night but, heck, it's Vegas right? We took a cab from our hotel and got there around 10:30. We walked in and the place was DEAD. There was the owner, Chris, the bartender, one couple and about 4 single guys milling about. We went ahead and went in and got the tour from the bartender. From a swingers club standpoint, it was pretty cool with nice rooms but the upstairs area is closed during the week. We sat around for while and drank while my wife (who is smokin' hot and all dressed up) was the center of all attention. We played some pool while talking to one single guy and another creepy single sort of lurked into the shadows to watch her. We put some music on the jukebox instead of the crap from what sounded like the 40's playing on the intercom system. We hung out for another hour and another couple showed up and promptly went into the pool. More single guys showed (and that's not our thing, we wanted ladies or couples) so we decided to head out. On the way out, the other owner, Mike, became somewhat belligerent talking to us and accused me of being insecure and not letting my wife show the single guys a good time. So I walked into the Red Rooster with high hopes, since we had heard about how great it was. My hubby and I had been to other "lifestyle" clubs before and had fun watching the activities. The Red Rooster decor was a flashback from the 1980's, which isn't really what the problem was. The place was seedy and smelled like food, smoke and sex. Little to no ventilation. More single guys than couples or women were there, which is a little scary for a first time couple or woman at this place. Yes there was a "security guard" if you want to call him that, but by his weight and stature did little to comfort me. They had a "viewing" room where you could see couples and groups have at it. On a positive note - if you like a place that smells, and don't care how short, fat, balding, wrinkled someone is that is having sex in front of you and you get REALLY super drunk, this might be the place for you :-) read more

Let me start out by saying that my husband and I were staying out on the strip and had to take a 30 cab ride to experience this place, so if thats you then, well you know. Also in this house/club there's an up stairs where only couples can go. Now this means olny the conventional couple, a guy and a girl. This is a hetero club and although there were two beautiful lesbians there that I would have loved to see fucking eachother while I got fucked. But they couldn't come upstairs with us. : (. But if you guys out there are lucky enough to have an adventurous girl, you can go up there to hang with other couples, swap, play, or go into the towel or less bedrooms where everyone lays out their towels on the bed and has group orgie sessions or that's how it went for us. This is the 2nd time I've been to Vegas and visited the Red Rooster. The 1st time I did not leave any feedback. The first time I went was during the week and the place was empty except for an old couple and a couple of ugly men. I paid the admisson and went in for about 15 minutes. They gave me a tour and then I left. It was just not happening. I decided to give it a 2nd chance because my 2nd time they had an event planned. It was naked night for men and women could wear lingerie. They advertised that a lot of people show up to the party. I paid another 40 bucks to go in. They were correct as advertised that a lot of people show up, that was not the problem. I would guess that there were about 75% of ugly men walking around in the buff and the other 25%, were some ugly women. I had to get naked which felt uncomfortable walking around with these older ugly naked men. This time I stayed for about 5 minutes and left. read more

i would not recommend this place to anyone single or couples. the place is filthy and shady. it is very small with cramped conditions. when you get upstairs you have to go completely naked and you have to leave your clothes with someone at the door so dont take any personal possessions with you. the sites there were unbelieveable and not what i would have ever dreamed of. paid 30 dollars to get in with my husband and we walked in and were there for 10 minutes at the most and went to walk out. the owner mike and chris were mad because we didnt want to stay. sorry to them but didnt see anything in there that i would even want associate with. he and chris wanted to argue looks dont matter but they do so i would highly discourage anyone from attending this place. read more

We have been in the LifeStyle for more than12 years. We have seen many establishments around the world for those types of events. We are based in Vancouver, Canada where we must be blessed as we attend spectacular events at an up class club called Eden. So far, in our experience nothing ever comes close to that. We have been to 3 clubs in the States: New Horizons close to Seattle, Sea Mountain Nude Lifestyle Resort in Pal Springs and now The Red Rooster in Vegas. 1 common theme is how greatly exaggerated the publicity for those places always is. I guess in the States you can say anything as long as people come. Any publicity is good publicity!?! The places are all run down and in need of massive renovations and de-molding. Not a place you want to get naked and have sex. The pictures they show must have been taken when it first opened but nothing is recent. Even when we called to inquire about the clientele, we were told the usual range of age of members. At the Red Rooster, they told us from 30 to 60. What a lie! Don't get me wrong, I am glad old people can go on to have a healthy sexual life past 60. But when I only want to see it when I am 60. It does no good to anyone to lure people in saying there is a young clientele when everyone there is twice their age. Stay true to YOUR clientele and inform people inquiring what they will find there. We felt like we were visiting grandpa and grandma in their old people's home! Music was consistent with the crowd. I was insulted when we had to pay for this nightmare! Like I said, I'll be happy to continue in the lifestyle when we are older but PLEASE, don't rush us. We love partying with people who are young professional with good strong bodies and hygiene. Never ask for the range of age in the clubs. Ask for the average. If you go in the States, make sure to take any publicity with a massive grain of salt as they always blow everything out of proportion! read more

i have been in the business for over 20+ years owning 3 successful clubs...my wife and i decided to check out the scene and i want to give the readers a true and accurate review of this place. first the bartenders are polite and do their job well, security is friendly but too friendly to be in this atmosphere. the owner is a sweetheart. the lay out of the club is nice but with all good i must post the bad. first with security some of them think they are part of deal sticking their noses in the rooms to sneak a peak or in some cases try and get a piece which in this type of business is a big no no....the upstairs should have had a locker area for couples to change their clothing instead its open for everyone that hangs out there creeping on others. the finger food they serve is just that finger food and the music has to change....again i love the owner she is great but what they did in the 80's doesnt work now and to compete in this type of business you need a all around crowd young to old minus less creepers....for vegas this is the best club offered green door and fantasy i hate to say it is a joke cant even have alcohol in them which is strange if they are a true private club my prediction someone is going to come to the vegas area to build a real upto date life style cub that offers everything in the life style wants...unfortunately this review you may see or not it seems like the true reviews seem to vanish on these post ....but we are always looking and reviewing so you know the real deal read more
