Wow. Just wow. I had an aftermarket exhaust that was installed 3 years ago by my mechanic, and I was dismayed to find that it had degraded and rusted in several spots, causing my muffler to hang loose from its rubber supports, and the exhaust pipe swinging free under the car. I spent almost $1,000 putting the muffler and pipe in 3 years ago, and I was not keen to replace it all over again. Muff took a few minutes to explain why it had degraded (cheap, thin steel), and that he could replace the entire thing with a custom fabricated pipe, preserving my resonator AND muffler. With that, he got straight to work, and I was out on the road again in an hour with a completely fixed exhaust system--all at a FRACTION of what I was expecting to pay. Muff and his team were kind, professional, warm, welcoming, and highly skilled. I've truly found a gem of a shop in Lancaster city, and I'll be recommending everyone go see them. 10/10. Would Red Rose again. During regular PA inspection, dealer told me there were leaks in the center pipe, and suggested I find an exhaust shop (dealer had no welder, and could only replace everything+muffler -- very expensive, unnecessary). With other repair shops booked out for weeks, Red Rose got me an appointment later the same week. I was able to wait with the vehicle. There is a small waiting room at the shop, but this place is directly across the street from Beilers/Mean Cup/Savoy Truffle. What a great location! My repair was simple, and was done in under an hour. Cost of my small repair: 150 (cost of an unnecessary total exhaust replacement: 2,000+) EVEN THE DEALER techs liked it: during re-inspection, they made a point to comment that "whoever did the exhaust repair did a really good job". read more

I had an issue with my car & took it to a different place than Red Rose City (the usual shop I always go to)... except my usual mechanic was on vacation. The shop claimed they fixed the issue, did not charge me & returned my vehicle. Once my mechanic returned from vacation, he checked it out & shared that it is something they cannot accommodate. He gave the suggestion to call Red Rose City Exhaust. I called, they answered right away, they were attentive to my concerns and assisted me in scheduling an appointment immediately. They had to order a part and again, scheduled me without any issues. I am so happy with the service Red Rose City has provided. During a routine oil change at the dealership in Nov 2021, the mechanic found a small exhaust leak in my car. Fast forward to my next oil change in March 2022 and my small exhaust leak had become a giant hole in the pipe and additional rusting in another spot. My dealership recommended I take my car to Red Rose City Exhaust to have the repair done, and let me just tell you... I was not disappointed at all. My oil change was on Friday so I called that same day to make an appointment and RRCE was able to get me in and get my car fixed the very next Tuesday (FOUR DAYS LATER!). They were professional and kind and got my car done ahead of schedule. I was able to drop the car off and pick it back up the same day, and honestly if I hadn't have had to work that day they got the job done so quickly I probably could have just stayed at the shop. Absolutely top notch service. Took care of my exhaust from the cat back with a sweet Magnaflow Hi-flow setup in less than an hour and I was on my way. Their price was the best I was able to find locally. My Accord sounds incredible. Nice deep smooth sound that is not at all disturbing under normal driving, but under heavy acceleration, and higher rpms it sounds so aggressive. So glad I went with the setup we chose, and that my Honda doesn't sound like a fart-can on wheels like these other Hondas all over town. The owner Mig is a great guy and was extremely helpful. I have to start by saying if I could give a 6th star, almost like hitting the gold button on America's Got Talent, I would without hesitation! So anyway, my girlfriend and I had recently purchased a 2000 Audi A4 2.8l Quattro last week. Within 4 days of having the vehicle a loud, I mean LOUD growl erupted from the undercarriage of this tank! She, being the typical girl, went in to a hysterical panic as I looked under the car and noticed the flex pipe looked a little out of whack. I called a few places in York in which reside with no luck to my dismay. Must be a tough time for exhausts or something but anyway, I called Red Rose City Exhaust and they squeezed me in for an appointment. We made the trek there and pulled in the lot. As we walked in the very friendly gentlemen at the desk greeted us with a smile as if we had been friends for years! We didn't wait at all and our car was pulled in to the bay and on a lift actually before our scheduled time as we were a bit early. They diagnosed the issue as what I had said with the flex pipe and gave us a quote cheaper than anyone else I had called in the area. He had then notified us that it would be about an hour and a half as both sides should be done as the other side was on its way out and pointed us in the direction of some great spots to check out such as Spring House Brewing Co. And some other cool spots! We waited and at exactly 1.5 hours our vehicle was all done and ready to go! They had us come out and look at the job and the mechanic who had done the job out in the sweltering heat greeted us with a big smile and was extremely nice as well! Overall the best experience I have ever had at a garage and I'm a car guy, as well as a BMW enthusiast so I'm at the garage a LOT! Go check em out, you WILL NOT be disappointed!! read more
