When I tried to return this, the receipt was somehow lost so they would not take the dress back. Within 7 days, they were evidently unable to pull the purchase from my account. I keep running into issues with the sizing and selection of clothes so haven't been able to find anything that worked to return on previous purchase. The other top I bought for $60 has shrunk after one wash and no longer fits. So many items are way too cropped or transparent. I think the quality here has gone way down. I also purchased a denim skirt with shorts under thinking the shorts would help with the length of the skirt. Because of the return policy, I don't have the option to dispute the transaction from my credit card since I've had to use store credit.

Tonight Doc got us reservations for a Speakeasy Mystery Crawl in Nashville. The COLD night air confirmed I better buy a black coat to match the new black dress since they have a dress code. Thankfully I found a bedazzled light weight black coat for $30, bling earrings and a ring to get into the mood for this evening's 7:30 pm event. This shop did not have that musty smell like Goodwill or Savers. We'd shop for music or Big Sky bears ages ago but not clothes. I think watching Twilight Zone in my school age years gave me the Willie's of wearing someone else's clothes. Hub's aunty even told them she had nightmares with her own mom's clothes when she passed. When I tried to return it to Nordstrom, I was told it was outside the ABLE return window and they had no authority to override the policy. They suggested I contact ABLE directly. I did and was told Nordstrom, and their system, was the problem and I should contact them. ABLE's response puts me--the customer--in the middle and makes it impossible to resolve this issue. And, after many years of excellent customer service from Nordstrom, I suspect ABLE and not Nordstrom is the problem. To be clear, I was responsible for knowing the seller of the item I purchased and their return policy. I did not; my fault. But, when I contacted them, if ABLE had confirmed their policy and graciously refused the return, I would have been unhappy but I would have respected their response and continued purchasing their products, being more careful in the future of their return policy. As it is, I will avoid their products; customer service is everything.

If it happens to be the weekend, good luck, because there's no one available to handle it. I love their merchandise, but the return process makes me think twice about ordering online again.
