It is located east of the Food Center grocery store. This is a place where the locals eat. As you drive up in your rental car, they will totally know you're not a local. Do not be afraid and miss out where the locals eat. You will see a bunch of outdoor tables and a food truck that is now a non moving kitchen. There is a wooden staircase located at the back door of the truck. As you make your way up the stairs you will see a glass case with already cooked food. It will totally be hard to see the food past the steamy glass but the owner is brilliant. She uses a window squeegee to clean the steam off the windows. You will now have a totally clear view of all the food she has. It is typical Caribbean stewed meats like chicken, goat & fish. A plate of chicken with rice costs only $10. If you want goat or fish with rice it will set you back $12. You can also add on a Johnny Cake for just $1. Two sisters make all of the food and they have been in business for seven years which means that they are doing something right. So next time you find yourself on a winding road in St Thomas keep your eyes open and stay on the left side because these hidden culinary adventures exist everywhere.
