I was able to…read morestabilize the trim that was flapping in the wind with a bungy cord until I could acquire some duct tape that did the job. I bought this RV from a guy who had the windshield replaced by Rodfathers just before I bought it in April 2023. Since the trim was adhered to the body of the RV by Rodfathers after they replaced the windshield. After returning from Colorado, I took my RV to Rodfathers to have them to reattach the piece of trim on the passenger side in the same manner as the trim on the drivers side was attached. I was told that the warranty was not transferrable from one owner to the next and that it did not apply to me since the previous owner was the one that had the windshield replaced. The warranty should apply to the vehicle not the owner, unless they use this to get out of standing behind their workmanship. From the day the windshield was replaced to the day that the trim came loose was 90 days exactly. Any repair service that cannot stand behind their workmanship for 90 days is not a repair facility that I care to do any business with in the future. I related to them that I would not use them for any future repairs or services. I also will not recommend them to others for repair or services. Bill D.

When my Dallas based work truck needed an alternator I called…read morethem for a quote and to confirm they COULD complete job in the same day , This is very important because I had a 2 man crew sitting on the clock for the entire time of this ordeal. He gave me a ballpark price and told me if all I needed was the alternator he could do it no problem. He calls me with an estimate that was DOUBLE what he quoted. DOUBLE sucks but oh well stuff happens....... I was willing to pay to get my crew to the next job site and get them home for Mothers Day. Then he tells me he cant get it done today (Saturday) it wouldn't be until Monday. I reminded him of him assuring me if all it needed was an alternator (which it did) it would be done. he said oh well and starting making excuses. If he would have put half the time he spent telling me what he couldn't do into actually doing it, this would be a positive comment about how he took care of me. Out of towners beware.... DOUBLED the price and COULDNT do it. PS..... had to pay them $300 for wasting my time , My crew drove across street to Firestone and they had them back on the road in an hour with a new alternator for $400.00 less than I was quoted by Patrick Goodyear..............AVOID THEM

A couple of months ago I took my HVAC controls to them for replacement and was told by the service manager, my controls were no longer made and it would be best if I would replace all parts, including the control box located at the AC. I checked around with several RV repair places and was told the same. I decided to take my RV to Family Camping Center for the repairs since they got it right from the start. When I dropped off the RV, there was different person at the counter and I told them what I needed and that my controls were no longer available. I left knowing it was in the right hands. Little did I know the new service manager lacked knowledge and had not communicated previous information to the technician or the fact my controls were obsolete even after telling them so. When I returned to pick up my RV there was a $500.00 labor bill to replace the parts (a control box at the AC and a thermostat) Previously this business and others told me these would be needed. To say the least, I wasn't very happy. The owner tried to defend their charges by saying the labor was diagnostics and trying to use my old parts. All could have been avoided if service manager had known what they were doing or even listened when I told them my controls were to be replaced. The only positive was owner did knock off $100.00 (1hour) but still charged me 400.00 for a 2 - 3 hour job. I hope for their sake they change their attitude and the service manager learns fast. I've sent many friends to this business in the past but I hesitate to do this in the future.

After getting her car towed to Amarillo and attempting to get it repaired on Sunday to no avail, I turned to Yelp for help. I found a shop with great reviews for helping stranded travelers, especially on weekends. I fired off a message and accidentally turned it into a project which added Bryan's Auto and Body to my message. And it's a good thing because Bryan was the only response I ever got. He said they could definitely get it looked at, but it would be Monday. It didn't take long to see this was as good as it was gonna get. But it got better when, not only were they able to get it looked at on Monday, but were able to get the alternator and flywheel replaced on Monday. Melissa and Bryan were tremendously helpful. I drove up to Amarillo to get my daughter back to Albuquerque and was working with them through Yelp messages, emails and phone calls. I have a great mechanic in DFW that took me years to luck into, but managed to find the same level of service through Yelp in a faraway city through apps and phone calls when I didn't have a clue where to go. Thanks Bryan! Thanks Melissa! Thanks to the whole team at Bryan's Auto and Body for coming through with minor miracles in the midst of our little crisis far from home. You are greatly appreciated!
