The usual Cantonese bakery delights, such as "wife cakes", gorgeous mango tarts, da'an tat, custard buns and more. There were several customers coming and going who had reserved mango cakes. My neighbourhood Asian bakery joint that has been around for more than a decade. This was my goto place to grab a quick bite when needed. They also got a good HK milk tea. Not too bitter. Just right! The employees pretty much know who comes into their place being a neighbourhood joint. Good service. Buns wise, a decent selection. But not too pricey. So they tasted decent. This bakery is located in a strip plaza on warden between Finch and Huntingwood. It may be small but don't underestimated them! We've ordered egg tarts and always been happy. Recommend going early to get them fresh and before the run out. Their buns are usually good. They're a pretty good price for what you get. The most recent item we tried was their chestnut cake which was really good. Generous with their chestnut filling and it was definitely very chestnut-y. The cake is decorated well with fresh fruits. Cake is very fluffy with light cream and fruits mixed in along with previously mentioned chestnut cream layer. Overall, a delicious and pretty huge cake. Best egg tarts in toronto. Nice family run bakery and is a hidden gem. Egg tarts are with a flaky crust and not so sweet filling. Not oily or artificial like the ones you get at other places. I drive 30 mins to get these and tell as many people to try them. Definitely a must try and you need to get them early or call in or they sell out! They also have other pastries as well as bubble teas. Support local businesses like these. They are awesome. You won't regret it. read more

It's a pretty good bakery for the quality and price. My husband who is not Chinese loves the pineapple buns. I love the egg tarts especially when they are fresh out of the oven. I'm an egg tart addict. I've had the chance to try egg tarts from all over the GTA and Hong Kong, and this place is my #1 pick. Egg tarts generally come in two main varieties: flaky pastry crust or butter/cookie crust. Too often, the pastry crust variety has an overwhelming volume of crust. The end result tastes more of dough than custard. Cookie crust egg tarts usually have a better balance of crust and egg, but obviously cannot provide the same delicate, flaky goodness that only a pastry crust can. Red Sail Boat does flaky crusts perfectly. The crusts, extremely thin, accentuate and dutifully contain the rich custard within, never overpowering it. In a nutshell, this place makes the Platonic ideal of egg tarts. If anyone reading this disagrees and thinks there's a better egg tart place in Toronto, please message me and let me know! The egg tart is less sweet, mostly due to the age group in the population in the area. Quality of the baked stuff is not bad, but I do have an utmost disgust of the woman who works at cash. She has no respect for her customers and I don't think I'll be visiting this bakery again because of her. It's not the only bakery in the area, and not the best either. It's not a bad bakery at all. I live really close to this location, so I stopped by sometime ago for a snack when I was at the bank. I tried their taro cream puff and the typical sausage and mayo buns. So far, it's decent. They have a nice deal that comes with one HK style tea and one bun of your choice for like less than $2. This bakery should, however, add more variety and choices in their bun and pastry selection. read more
