On Friday, I was meeting up with a couple of friends at Hee Kee Seafood Restaurant for lunch. I had parked my car in front of both Cotti Coffee and the eatery. I walked into the latter. There was a woman with her two kids. They were going to Cotti Coffee through the restaurant. They held the door open for me. I thanked them as we all entered the restaurant. I noticed the latest Cotti Coffee offering. It was the double coconut collection. I was hungry and needed lunch. However, double coconut was calling out my name. I was intrigued. Our table was near the Cotti Coffee stall that is between the corridor to the washrooms and the tanks with live fish, lobster, and more. It's brilliant having a beverage place inside a restaurant. One of my friends and I are huge beverage people. We both got drinks after our meal to get us through the rest of the day. We were the only folks dining at the restaurant. It was fairly steady business at Cotti Coffee. My guess is that things get busier at the restaurant for dinner. Maybe folks getting a drink may want to do takeout. I would after dining at this restaurant! We both placed our orders online. My friend went first, as she had to go to work. She got a large iced stardust oat latte, which looked amazing. It had jelly in it. She told me later on that the coffee was strong, but she enjoyed this drink. If I had her drink, I'd probably not sleep for a full day. Before I left, I ordered a large iced strawberry matcha coco latte. There was the option to not add any sugar, which I chose. Fantuan gave me a pickup time of twenty minutes, which seemed excessive. The woman behind the counter was taking a breather. I decided to use the women's washroom and return to see if my order was ready. I got word that my order was ready in under ten minutes. Much better! I headed to the counter and matched the last three digits of my order with the receipt on the table next to my drink. I thanked the woman and grabbed my drink, thinking that it was in a sippy cup. She asked if I wanted a straw. I needed one, as it wasn't the type of drink that you could drink without one. Thank goodness my hearing is decent! The straw was a paper one and extremely sturdy. I poked it through the lid, stirred my drink, and had a sip. This drink was excellent. It had bits of strawberry in it. The matcha was smooth. The coconut beverage added a creaminess that I enjoyed. It was iced and delicious. On Fantuan, the regular size was discounted by 30%. I upgraded to a large, which came up to $6. Not too shabby! I'd come back and get more drinks. I like that it's a part of the restaurant. I can see myself getting takeout at the restaurant and a drink from Cotti Coffee. (364)

It was not too sweet and had just the right amount of tang. Fairly light, but still very flavorful. Pricing I thought was a little on the pricey side. It was. $103 for the small cake and 7 cookies. Definitely a must try if you've never had it. 2) Thai tea tiramisu - this had good Thai tea flavor but I felt it was a bit one note in comparison to the classic tiramisu. It had all tiramisu varieties discounted by $5. Yes! What tiramisu flavour should I get? I had a tough time deciding. Classic, Thai milk tea, or earl grey? I went with Thai milk tea. This place also has gelato bars. I was curious and got a white chocolate raspberry gelato bar. I drove down to pick up my order. Nonna Lia is a part of Bontea. I was so excited to get my goodies that I didn't even bother getting bubble tea. Next time! Bontea is a couple of doors down from LaMochi Donuts. I had no problem parking in front of Bontea and heading inside. A woman greeted me. I let her know that I had an Uber Eats order. She fetched it from the fridge and handed me a nicely branded paper bag. I thanked her, wished her a great evening, and headed to my car. I immediately had the white chocolate raspberry bar. It was excellent! If you love raspberry gelato or anything raspberry, this bar is for you. The white chocolate was subtle. This bar wasn't sweet. I still dream about the bar. I need another one! The following day, I brought the Thai milk tea tiramisu to share with a friend at work. It has more mascarpone than lady fingers. It's like a decadent mousse with bonus lady fingers. We both loved how it tasted like having Thai milk tea, but in dessert form. It was light, yummy, and full of flavour. The lady fingers were perfect. Each container of tiramisu runs between $22 and $25. It's on the pricy side, but it is worth treating yourself here and there. This place is grab-and-go for both desserts and bubble tea. There aren't any seats to sit down and enjoy your treats. I'll definitely head back for more tiramisu and gelato bars. It took a while for me to finally give this place a try.
