I am always amazed at line dancing. The place is huge and has a pretty big parking lot with an over flow lot available as well. It you use you debit/credit card for anything here (bar tab, cover charge....) you will be assessed a $1 fee. The staff there was friendly enough, even though my interaction with them was limited. The place was very clean and had decent lighting for a bar. No country bar would be complete without a mechanical bull. This place in no exception. They have a bull that you can ride for an additional fee. The place has a very big dance floor in the middle, three bars (two were open while I was there), a stage, corn hole boards and an eatery (Rolyno's Pizza) that sells hot dogs, pizza, pretzels, sodas, and breadsticks. You will also find an outdoor patio out front that overlooks the parking lot. The drinks were reasonably priced, but there was always a long wait in line to get one. They were playing some real good music, a wide variety of country and hip-hop, and the line dancers really knew their stuff. I like this place. It had a mixed crowd, with the average age being about 30 or so. It is very spacious, with tons of room. It is defiantly a place to be on Friday and/or Saturday nights. Yeee haw!!!!!

Get there early! Gets busy really fast! Overall great place to watch a live band or just hangout!read more

We arrived after looking up "Lunch near Airport" and this place popping with good reviews and a high TripAdvisor position. Gayle and I had a very enjoyable Lunch. The inside was bright, clean, well-appointed and spacious. Our wait person was friendly and prompt. I ordered the tomato bisque and grilled cheese special, while Gayle opted for a Patty Melt (with Fries). Both choices were delicious and just the right amount of food for me. Gayle left a fair amount of food on her plate, mostly due to a huge sandwich and lot for fries. I appreciated that this place offered beers that didn't have the word IPA in them, with my Oatmeal Stout being a great choice. Gayle went for her favorite Chardonnay preference. We both nursed our drinks and the fries as we were in no hurry to get the airport. The Library Restaurant and Pub was a solid choice, and one that we would repeat for either Lunch or Dinner.

While the space is small, the energy inside is huge. I recommend taking a group of people and splitting the whole chicken dinner. It fed 3 of us plus leftovers. Their fry platter is also top tier. It's not often that I find myself on this side of town these days, however, I arrived at Duke's…read moreIndy to participate in a fundraising event. It gave me an opportunity to check out a venue I'd always wanted to check out. Duke's is a honky-tonk (think Waylon not Wallen), an intimate yet wonderfully decorated bar located in what was formerly known as Ice House Bar. Duke's has live music nearly every night - if it's not actually music, it's some other type of event. The venue is relatively small with about a max of 60 in the main room and a side space that could probably fit 20-25 more. The main room has mostly 4-top tables with a bar area available. The side space seems to be mostly high-top tables. Duke's has a lunch and dinner menu. While it may seem weird for a honky-tonk, Duke's actually has a rather extensive vegan menu. They are well known for their fried chicken, however, the menu actually has a variety of bar food ranging from burgers to tenderloin to appetizers to a bunch of other items. The vegan menu is also surprisingly extensive. Duke's has a full bar. I was pleased that they do have unsweetened iced tea. I ordered the chicken - which came with a chicken breast and a wing. It was nicely seasoned and quite delicious. In terms of accessibility (which was relevant since I'm a wheelchair user and one of the acts was using a motorized chair), Duke's has made some definite efforts toward accessibility (this is an older building with limits). There's a ramp offering accessibility in the back (and there is parking in the back). This is a very working class/industrial area, but everything felt safe to me and I had no issues. The ramp has a side rail you can hold on to if needed. I was able to use the ramp without much difficulty. The dining area is easily accessible other than the side area with high-tops (it's accessible, but the tables are higher). It looked like they had 3-4 bathrooms with all being single user. The first one I tried wasn't wheelchair friendly, however, the second one worked quite nicely and did have bars. Duke's had brought in a ramp - an impressive gesture. They stated it was something they'd been wanting to do and today offered the opportunity. It wasn't perfect, however, when you're disabled you get so used to lack of access that when someone genuinely tries you tend to give them the benefit of the doubt. I sure did. Employees were super friendly throughout the event and I got the opportunity to meet the owner for the event (which was comedy). Overall, this was an excellent experience. They have their concert schedule on their website along with their menu. This is a lovely little honky-tonk and I really enjoyed my time here. I almost stayed for tonight's concert (I actually knew her music), however, after being there all afternoon I was tired. That said, I'll no doubt return.

The front desk attendant at the hotel gave us a double thumbs up on the nearby Coachman Restaurant and Lounge so we made our way over with rather high expectations. We have to admit that at first glance the Coachman doesn't suggest a superior dining experience. A somewhat tired exterior and an outdoor deck populated by smokers gave us pause but we pressed on and could not have been more pleasantly surprised by the food, drink, and service. We started with a Casamiga Ranch Water and a pint of the local amber ale. The drinks arrived in frosted glasses with the perfect degree of crispness. The star here is the prime rib. We had the 12 ounce prime which was perfectly rare and served with a large dollop of horseradish as well as a medium rare prime rib sandwich. The meat was flawlessly seasoned and impeccably tender. Our visit to the Coachman reinforced the adage that one ought not judge a book by its cover. We don't know if our adventures will take us through Plainfield again but if they do we will prioritize a meal at the Coachman!

The place has a great ambience very welcoming. The hostess greeted me very promptly and with a great smile, my server Chloe was fantastic very well informed and suggested I try the prime rib. I'm so glad I did. It was fantastic. I took the smaller cut the 8 ounce they gave you two sides. I chose the French onion soup and baked potato and everything was great. The 8 ounce was plenty big with the two sides so I'm glad I didn't get the larger one. I will be back if I'm in the area. She suggested I try the pork tenderloin next time so I will do that. Keep up the great work.

I've tried to work with the GM regarding schedule changes but his policies don't take loyality to the brand and specifically to his hotel into consideration. After my last two night stay which was was booked for three nights originally I realized when refusing to pay a penalty charge for not staying the third night that he refused to honor the stay to count towards my status and didn't place any points in my account for the two nights. They get plenty of business next to the airport and apparently loyality means nothing. Can be the only issue here since the turnover is constant. Need to make better business decisions Michael

Great staff, friendly and helpful. 2. Cold water offered to those in the pit to help keep people hydrated and out of trouble/getting overheated. 3. Excellent restroom facilities in the main area (stage right), including people inside the restroom to help direct and keep traffic flowing during the busiest times. No more empty stalls simply because people couldn't tell if it was empty or occupied. The ladies line moved quickly and efficiently, best ever! 4. Good food offerings throughout the venue 5. Chair rental for the lawn area (I didn't do this, as our tickets were for the pit) but lots of people did and were able to secure excellent spots in comfy locations. 6. Perhaps most important: shade in the pit and seated area in the afternoon. I love the orientation of the stage and roof. It was well planned and executed. 7. Parking: on Sundays, street parking is free. But if it isn't a Sunday, there is still lots of parking, including the State Museum parking garage. Very convenient! Don't ever hesitate to come downtown for a show, well worth it.
