This was not the case with Red Shores! The place was really clean, super chill vibes, and the people were so great. Mike was my piecer and he was extremely helpful, professional, and patient in answering all my questions and giving me tips. He did such an amazing job with my piercing and kept it clean and quick. I was tattooed by a girl there who I really appreciated as a person, but I'm so upset with the way my tattoo came out. I kept looking at it every now and then throughout the session and it seemed fine. Once I left the shop and got a close look at it, I noticed how crooked so many of the lines/circles are. I messaged her letting her know how upset I was, and I received nothing in response. I don't know how I was allowed to leave with it looking like that. The tattoo was meant to be incredibly thin and special and now when I get it fixed, they will need to thicken the lines. My tattoo artist (Messiah) was high while doing my tattoo as well. When I confronted them about everything, I got blocked. NEVER GO HERE!!!!!!! Please look at the screenshot where she admitted to rushing through my tattoo. UPDATE: I was blocked by Messiah and another worker but ended up getting my refund. These people are incredibly unprofessional. Save yourself the time and BODY and don't come here. read more

Really cool little hole in the wall place! My partner and mother wanted to get a little spontaneous so they decided to get tattoos lol ( big Taurus energy) my partner was extremely pleased with hers and how the artist allowed her to express herself and gave her the time to figure out the location! He was very patient and kind. My mother's artist on the other had seemed a bit annoyed and my mom felt like she was rushed. But overall the tattoos both came out amazing and I'm so glad they did this. Parking was right up front so very easy but there are meter to pay for the parking. read more

My bf had an appointment Saturday at 12. Lee (the tattoo artist) texted him at 7am saying his appointment needs to be moved to 2. We get there a little early bc it's our first time there. He gets another text saying he's running 10 minutes late but shows up 30 minutes later. He begins sketching the tattoo but procedures to let things distract him. His work is amazing but he has a terrible concept of time. My appointment was today at 2. I get a message at 10 saying it needs to be pushed to 4. I show up and he's not there. I messaged him on Instagram, no response. I then proceed to ask the other artist for his contact info and call him. He sounds like he was rushing to get ready and says he will be there in 20 minutes. I waited for 30-40 minutes and then left. As stated before his work is great but the lack of professionalism is mind boggling. read more

This review is just for their piercing services. Their tattoos may be great but they shouldn't be allowed to do piercings- upon closer inspection, I found several other reviews that bring up their poor piercing practices. I was in the area and called to change out a nose piercing. There were several red flags which I ignored, since this is a fairly simple/routine procedure. The guy pulled his pants up/ touched a bunch of stuff AFTER he put on clean gloves. He had a dirty/greasy pair of glasses which he tried wipe clean with some random napkin. He didn't sanitIze the new jewelry prior to swapping. But the biggest kicker is that he seemed amateur. He took out the old jewelry just fine but couldn't find the hole with the new jewelry. He said he couldn't see very well and kept moving the chair around. After poking me/making me bleed for about 5 minutes, he asked me if I wanted to try myself lol. Battered bruised and bleeding, I took my leave and am now looking to find a piercing specialist who can help me. read more

Review based on Lee: I came in on a Friday evening after messaging the shop on yelp and getting an appointment with Lee. I follow the shop on Instagram so I was familiar with the work they do but had never been in before. I will definitely be back after the incredible job Lee did. From the time I showed him what I wanted to the time he was set up with a stencil was 30 mins. He was so nice and could tell I wasn't in love with the first place he stuck the stencil and made me feel really comfortable asking him to move it a tiny bit saying it was not a problem at all. I think it's important for artists to make you feel as comfortable as possible and this was a great experience. As far as tattooing, Lee is QUICK and precise. The tattoo took all of 30 minutes including shading (it's relatively small but still.. 30 minutes.). The tattoo was on my ribs so it was a little more painful than normal but Lee was good about moving areas when he could tell I was getting uncomfortable and talking to me to get my mind off of it. The line work is super clean and the shading is great. Overall I love the tiny piece. I also watched Lee change gloves twice to ensure everything was sanitary and watched him wipe everything down very well like in any sanitary shop. I will definitely be back and recommend others check out Lee's work!! read more

J.Cash was a terrible piercer... Maybe we caught him on a "bad day".. My friend and I just left the place and are both very upset but we were polite and paid. The owner responded within about 10-15 min and we proceeded to schedule an appointment in two hours with Michael. I immediately found their IG and had access to view Michels work, which he had done some fantastic pieces. I arrived to my appointment and was immediately greeted. We saw him on instagram originally, his at on instagram is @barfshake , he was offering free tattoos on his instagram which my of age friend responded to ( i am 17) when we went in he did not ask for id or anything, later in the experience i walked away and he directly asked my friend how much we were gonna tip him (even before finishing our tattoos) and we were gonna tip him no matter what for his time, but it was an odd question, then continued to tell us our tip wasnt enough, when he started on my friends tattoo( in the picture) his associate told him he needs to "wrap it up" and she ended up leaving with this tattoo. I tipped him 50 thru card and placed 10 more dollars in cash down for him and he laughed in my face, Overall veryyy rude!! He did not wrap them to make sure they heal properly but i did after i left, I waited for our tattoos to heal to complain and when i did text him directly he ignored me. I wouldnt be so mad if i thought he tried but he most definitely didn't because both tattoos look like they are already fading! I had always wanted to get a tongue piercing. Some say I'm going through my midlife crisis, I decided to get it in May. My husband was like"you're too old for this S.H.I.T", and I was like " I want it, I want it ". My piercer warned me I might feel awful and hate myself for it but I'll be ok. I was like, just pierce me already. As soon as that ring was in, I was like oh crap I didn't think this through, I cannot talk and I may not be able to eat but I like food and I have leftover crawfish at home made today from my hubby. I'm a therapist, how will I communicate with my client? Elyssia was not only my piercer in all of this, she turned into my mother/nurse/therapist and everyone I needed her to be to feel comfortable and heal properly, always a text and phone call away. I had 45lbs to lose and being on liquids diet for the first 2 weeks helped me lose close to 10. Talking was doable. Today, iam walking all around with my trophy tongue pierced and very happy.
