We went for a birthday celebration on a Saturday night. Great atmosphere! Our server was very nice but he took a long time to actually take our dinner order - we finished our 3 appetizers before ordering our meal. The calamari was my favorite appetizer and it was big enough for 6 people to have multiple bites. The steaks are amazing!! The crispy fingerling potatoes are delicious! The green beans and pancetta were so flavorful with a little bit of spice! Every bite of food was amazing. Will be going back for a nice date night! BEST meatball in Cleveland!!!!

The food was delicious I got the porter house steak it juicy and the most tender steak I've ever had my husband had the short pasta which he loved the sides were good the only criticism is the green beans could cook more for me staff very awesome Marie was very helpful will be back

We love the RED Steakhouse downtown, so we had to try the one in Pinecrest. The vibe of the restaurant is a bit different, maybe less upscale feeling? But, that's not a bad thing. We were seated right away and we got straight to ordering. My partner and I shared the shrimp cocktail, lump crab cake, ribeye, diver scallops, whipped potatoes, and the mac & cheese. For dessert, we got some sort of s'mores dessert, which was delicious. Overall, I would come back, especially with the lovely location of being among the Pinecrest shops.

The bone in steak was extremely salty that we had to get it redone. The mashed potato the same but my daughter kept quiet but later mentioned the same. We were not charged for it. The appetizer's were good. The steak as a whole was not good. The drinks I loved purple rain and my husband his pecan 43. Perfectly made. The server was excellent. The place is classy. If you want a high end experience I would recommend capital grille which is slightly more expensive but worth it.

So this review is not going to give you a great breakdown of the possibilities of the restaurant as we came here solely for dessert (we did have one appetizer, their special bruschetta with artichokes - it was really good). As far as the desserts - really disappointing. We tried 3 desserts: 1 - Black Tea Honey Cake - it was ok; 2 - Opera Torte, was also ok; and 3 - Pear Tart - really disappointing, the taste of star anise was so overpowering, we had to send it back. Kuddos to our server for taking it off the bill. Speaking of service, really good and timely. Red might be great for steaks and I can't comment on that but definitely will not be back for desserts

I was really excited to eat here! The service was amazing unfortunately the food was a bit underwhelming. I ordered my steak medium and it was dry and tasted more on the medium well side however it was seasoned very well. We had the mashed potatoes, green beans and brussel sprouts none of which wowed me. The wedge salad and cheesecake however were both really good and plated very nicely. In addition i really like the overall vibe and ambience of the restaurant.

Wife and I went here to celebrate her birthday. First time in this location. The place is modern and welcoming, not what I imagined at all. The host was friendly and got us to our seats immediately. When we sat down, we were by the bar, we were greeted by the bartender, who turned out to be our waiter as well. Since we were there earlier (before dinner rush) this wasn't much of an issue. It became evident later-on when the bar filled up and the restaurant got busier that this was a bad idea (hence the 4-stars) The food was amazing. We had calamari for appetizer, it was fresh and not overly coated; Also not greasy, as some places tend to serve them to be. Dinner for me was a ribeye steak while the wife got the NY strip steak. We got the double crisp fingerling and Brussels sprouts. The food was delicious! Steak was cooked the way exactly we wanted them (medium) and the sides were pretty tasty. The potatoes had a rich garlic flavor to it that made it very savory. As a treat, as it was mentioned on our reservation, they brought out the beignets. This caught me off guard, as I assumed it would be "airy" inside....NOPE! It was like a fried pound cake, very dense. It came with 3 dipping sauces, chocolate, caramel and a berry one. Loved the berry dip and the chocolate was okay, Carmel, I could have doubled up on the berry. If you like sweets, make sure to save room for this, because it's very filling. Overall, we'll be back. Not as expensive as I thought it was, and it's very laid-back. Additionally, made for great left-overs the next day and the steak is just as tender!

Decent service and pretentious ambiance. The food is not worth the price. Very over rated and over priced, not recommended.

The honey garlic chicken was excellent not too dry a little bit sweet with a balsamic tomato accompaniment. The Parmesan potatoes were awful. They tasted like plastic! The to go food was 20 minutes behind the time I asked for it by which ticked my off. The Mac n cheese was lackluster at best. Basically pasta and a bit of watered down sauce. Hardly any flavor at all. Awful. The cake was dry. Skip this too. Not great flavor and not rich. Just bad. The sirloin was fine. Nice grilled flavor. Same with the salmon. I was very impressed that it wasn't dry at all and had excellent grilled flavor. Best part of all the food was clearly the salmon!

Since we were hungry, we followed another yelper's advice of getting an appetizer since we were warned the mains can take 30-40 minutes. Ordered the cracklin wings--got the ghost pepper dry rub which was recommended by the staff who also reassured me that it wasn't too spicy given that it was also sweet and came with ranch. Tasted great, super crispy on the outside, chicken not the most juicy but still tender. 4/5. Also ordered the truffle orcchiette, pork chop, and heirloom carrots. The truffle orcchiette had a great al dente texture but surprisingly compared to the other yelper reviews, was saltier than expected. 4/5 Favorites were definitely the pork chop and heirloom carrots. The pork chop came without the bone, already chopped up, and was the he most tender pork chop I've had. 5/5 The carrots were so well seasoned, with a great charred taste and came with an addicting puree. 5/5 Service was fantastic, with great recommendations. While the birthday guest was away from the table, I did sneakily ask if they do anything for birthdays, and the staff said that they do a scoop of ice cream. Since the sticky toffee pudding already came with a scoop of ice cream, they were considerate to do 2 cookies instead--the cookies weren't too sweet and reminded me of brownie batter. Sticky toffee pudding was good. 4/5 Restaurant is located in Pinecrest so parking available as free parking in a garage about a block away or as pay by mobile street parking. Ambience is great, perfect for a nice meal for a date or hangout. Overall a great place to celebrate a special occasion due to all the good food choices and staff who know how to treat birthday guests well.

I told him I would arrive within 40 mins and he said to just walk-in. The website says this is fine dining so for someone to answer the phone and discourage reservations was skeptical. When we arrived we were told since we didn't have reservations we had to sit outdoors. Now the forecast said rain in 10mins. So we told the lady at the desk that I spoke to the man that also at the door about reservations. She said no problem we waited about 10 minutes and we were seated. Our waitress Abby was amazing! I wanted a wellness drink and they were all out but she suggested other mocktail options. She then asked if we wanted tap water or sparkling bottle water. I was confused that they don't have filtered water. We got the tap and it smelled like sewer. We then asked for a bottle of sparkling water. And realized the glass cups smelled bad. If you want a wellness drink arrive early when they open around 11am. It was 1pm when I ordered my food. I ordered the Farmer's breakfast, it came with Two eggs any style, choice of crispy bacon or chicken sausage, grilled sourdough, potatoes. The potatoes were crumbs and left overs, a scoop of potatoes. For a $19 meal I couldn't believe what I was being served. The chicken sausage was amazing! The sourdough bread was grilled with no oil or butter. I asked for jelly thinking they would have compote. Instead they have mini jars of jelly. The main difference is that jam is a shelf-stable, fruit-puree preserve made with high amounts of sugar and added pectin. Compote is a chunkier, less sugary fruit sauce cooked quickly without pectin and meant to be eaten fresh. My husband had the Last Chicken Sandwich, which he said was good but the sandwich didn't come with a side just a $18 chicken sandwich that tasted wonderful.

However, there were several issues: 1) TV didn't work 2) Toilet intermittently ran all the time (Ever try falling asleep to that sound?) 3) Nearby elevator hummed loudly every time it ran (Made the toilet noise seem tame by comparison) 4) Glass barn door to the bathroom rattled and made noise every time it was opened and closed (How can anyone sleep through all of these noises?) My breakfast experience had some issues too. The menu listed 3 pancakes for $12. I ordered those for dine-in. Instead, I received a take-out container with 2 pancakes for $10. That was a 25% higher price per pancake than was listed on the menu. I then requested a plate and real silverware from the cashier so I could eat the pancakes in the dining room.
