Skechers prices can vary depending when & where you buy them. I wear Skechers for work, leisure, and hiking. Each summer I get a new pair of Go Walks for theme park season - I find them super comfortable, however their soft & spongy soles can degrade quickly. For me it's an investment in comfort rather than bandaids and moleskin :-) Their kids shoes are very reasonable priced... my kiddo inherited my wide feet, so we often shop for his shoes as well at this location.

There were several sales people on the floor helping other people. I went to the sale rack first and then asked an older lady if they had Vionics in size 12. She said no. When I had called they had implied that they had other Vionic styles in twelves so i thought that was weird. I grabbed the loafer I wanted and waited for another rep thinking she just misunderstood me. The next woman was more helpful, but the situation still wasn't ideal. I tried on a pair of Danskos that were an EU 42 but that is really just an 11.5. (Eyes Dansko from across an ocean...) If we're being honest here, I think there were no actual size twelves in the store, they didn't want to look, or they didn't know how to look. I asked her what she had in the store that came in a 12, but she wanted me to go around the store and point to individual shoe styles and say "How about this one? How about this one? How about this one?" Listen...I'm 42 years old. I know that 99% of the time the answer is going to be "no...we don't have that in a 12." I have 30 years of shoe buying trauma built up, I don't need that in my life on my birthday. So when I ask what styles you have in a size 12? I know there are probably going to be like six of them tops. And if there are more that is AMAZING but SAY so, have it written down somewhere. Take me to the computer and let's look up your inventory by SIZE so you can show me what you have in stock TODAY. (((It's why I'm here and not on zappos.))) Started by a local couple with one store ( Run n Fun) in St Paul and built into five locations, now branded TC Running and run by one of the former employees. Many of the employees have continued to stay working here even with the changes and the stores continue to serve the community with their Run Squad membership available to be part of a running group and have extra benefits. Also they are active in local track teams helping supply needed quality gear. We stopped tshopping for our yearly upgrade of our shoes after many miles have worn out last years. The Rack in Maple Grove is decent sized and well laid out. They tend to have a bit of a smaller selection of the higher end designers that you can find at the Mall of America Nordstrom rack but still a decent variety. They carry women's, men's, children's, shoes, accessories and home goods. Parking is plentiful but the traffic flow is a little tricky directing you right into the first row. That row gets 100% of incoming traffic so I'd recommend parking one or two over. Customer service here is always good. While you are kind of on your own to hunt the racks (if you want a personalized shopping experience head to the actual Nordstrom's) the employees always seem to be in a good mood and helpful when checking out. Dressing rooms are always clean and they have plenty of spaces to try on items. It helps when people return unwanted items to the return racks so do your part and don't leave them in the room. Overall I think visiting this location is fun and I rarely leave empty handed!

The staff at Chet's happily exchanged the boots I had for a pair that did work. Since I needed a specific color for my work they had those boots shipped directly to my home. You can't get fitted correctly, and have service like this when ordering over the internet. It was truly worth purchasing work boots from a place like Chets in Spring Lake Park or Columbia Heights to get the professional service they offer.
