The divots in the disc surface were not identified until after my nephew opened his gift and found that it didn't work. They refused to even exchange since I was outside the very narrow return or exchange window they have in place. I had no way of checking it before this window expired since I do not have a GameCube console. I found a place that tried to resurface it twice and it still did not work. I thought I could trust GameStop rather than some other online source for used games, but I guess not. I will not return to GameStop for future purchases for my nephew.
