My family and I stood a month here. It's a pretty quiet RV resort aside from the trains that pass through but not a deal breaker for me. There are children that reside here and the RV park plans family activities so it's a good place for families. Facilities and grounds are kept clean. They have a fantastic pool and outdoor area. No gym. The creek behind the RV park has a big drop down so I would avoid it with my children. One long term resident told me he suspected some of the water is from the nearby waste water facility. One day it was really low and next is was knee high, no rain. Really not sure how true this is. Staff is really nice and helpful. Dog friendly place.

It's a well-maintained, age 55+ property, so there were never any kids yelling or loud music blaring. It is also gated at night, and as a single female, I felt very safe there. The park is out in the country, so it is very quiet - the only sound being a rooster occasionally crowing, which was quaint. The property managers, Greg and Amy, were amazing. When I had issues, they were always available to help, even when they were off duty. The on-site shower/restroom, laundry room, and community room are always clean and inviting. The neighbors are all very friendly, and there is a large dog park your fur babies. When I moved out, they refunded my deposits promptly and in full. If you're looking for a great RV park, and you're age 55+, Central RV Park at Parkside is the park for you! I would still be living there if it weren't for my job.

It didn't cost much, had both 35 and 50 hookups, water, plumbing, very level. I believe it was $25, and when I asked about a check-out time, the gentleman who runs the place basically shrugged and said not to worry about it. The playground was just fine, lots of trees, very quiet. The few people I saw smiled at my kids (for once, they were being quiet and walking nicely, that must have fooled them) and waved. There's a garden close to the river, we left that alone, and a cleared path along the river if you feel like going for a walk. I had intended to go wading, as this particular river is wide and shallow. This is maybe half, to one mile east of Mankin's Crossing at highway 29, and one and a half to two miles west of Jonah. Although their website lists "River access," and I'm sure you could manage it if you were bound and determined, I didn't feel like jumping down a sharp 3 foot bank, and the river wasn't high enough just then, so there was pond scum... Not the fault of the RV park, but still not as great as I was hoping. Dogs are ok, as long as they aren't barkers, not that we had one to bring. I wouldn't stay for a long time, though, as in the 13 years I've lived nearby, I've seen this place flood drastically, twice.

After all the questions, the manager asked in a rude tone: "And do you also have children?" After this question we just closed the car door and drove away. The park is not high top, but it was supposed to be a cozy place. There is a lot of dissatisfaction with the management and manager due to the age of the camper, although the camper itself is in very good condition, clean and without leaks. Don't recommend this place!

Who text me almost every week with something I was doing wrong and the text wouldn't just state the problem but would have the word "immediately". When she told me I was going faster than 10 miles per hour I took acceptance because I was always looking and the bumps in the road, its impossible to go faster. I sent her a text expressing my concern I was having with feelings of being watched (single female). Apparently she has some tenants who were watch dogging because her own eyes couldn't see everything. She also made a comment of me using the word "tattle telling" and how childish that was. Always felt someone was watching me and I was on pins and needles, never knowing if my neighbors were friend or foe. I have to state the grounds are nice and I had 3 yorkies and I was only suppose to have 2, I just left a home and never lived in a trailer. We all were adjusting. She evicted me which was fine, but then she brought me the eviction letter and said something to me and I tore that letter up and told her to stop harassing me. She said I had 24 hour to leave, which she can't do. I believe my last electric bill was high but I just wanted out of there. Had moved the trailer and had 1 more day to move the last things, but I guess a ternate came and helped themselves to what they wanted.
