Top 3 Fries ever according to our 9 yr old!
    Ritesh M.

This stop was initiated by a parking deal we found for the Dolphins/Jets game. They shuttle you to the game while you park at their restaurant! Pizza - imagine a giant tortilla made crisp in a super hot oven. Now throw on some decent sauce and a lot of cheese- Yep! Can't go wrong with a bar style pie with a kid in tow. Fries - My 9 yr old said these are a top 3 fry in his experience. I couldn't disagree much as they were delicious and a generous portion at that! Pepsi - their co2 tanks were working magic- love it when the fizzy bublé is on point! Great staff and great service- even if we are Dolphin fans! (hey we suffer enough, be kind)

Stopped in for a late night snack. The ambience is really fine and we sat at the bar where there were a lot of folks who had gone to the game. My son had the wings which were just so so. They were kind enough to make us a dessert, even though it wasn't on the menu. Service was very slow, even though it wasn't busy.

This restaurant offers a shuttle service to MetLife. I paid for it but never received the ticket. I've been calling and emailing for nearly a month and getting no response. When I've spoken to people on the phone they have been cordial but not helpful telling me that the only person who can help is on vacation. As you can see this has been going on since July 19

This is a amazing secret deal

The owner is a genius. Good food, great beer selection, great prices and a parking and transportation combo package I've never dreamed existed on planet earth. I can't believe I'm doing this review, I should keep this place a secret. For anyone who has been to a large event, parking is a hassle. Little feeder roads, parking miles from the stadium, trying to find your car later, getting out of the stadium (please can I just sleep here overnight) and driving out. It stinks. What if parking cost the same, you could jump on a shuttle whenever you want (either direction) get dropped off at the front, drink on the shuttle, listen to tunes on the shuttle, and be in and out in minutes. (How??) Get back to Redds bar (and bathroom) and to your car in minutes and now be on different local roads from the other 100,000 people??? Again how??? You'd say this is impossible, but I've seen it and done it. I will never do MetLife any other way again, not at any price, not for any reason. Again the food is good, better than average, and better than stadium food. The beer selection is wildly excellent. But the combo deal is the ticket. I will kiss the owner if I ever meet them. Thank you for this service.

This place is Awesome! I booked a concert at Metlife Stadium...I paid a lot for a local ( thinking we could walk to the arena )..just to find it was impossible!! ( with highway crossings and fences ) so we looked into options...the hotel told us about Redd's !!!! An awsome restaurant with a large parking area who provides parking and shuttle to the venue. We paid $50 for parking and an a round trip shuttle to the arena. It was fantastic! And of course we had dinner there first and it was yummy!!! After we got back from the concert, we got a few Flat crust pizzas to go to take back to the hotel room. All and all....an Awesome place, great food, great service to the arena, fantastic employees, blue color friendly, and overall great eatery!!! If you are doing a local show or sports event, definitely check out this place!!! Enjoy!

This place has an extensive history in this NJ community and appears to be a quite a regular's hangout Even a sports bar should be able to make a decent chicken Cesar salad, unfortunately I do not classify lettuce covered in dressing and topped off with grilled chicken breast a Cesar salad. If you're looking for a good drink, especially before an event at the Met Life stadium, this is a great stop. They even offer shuttle service to and from the stadium during events. Cheers!

Great bar to get some good grub and some beverages before a Giants or Jets game. Breakfast was really good and their lunch and dinner menu were full of options. They have 2 floors so you can hang with the bar or go upstairs. They also have a shuttle to the games which is so easy and pretty cheap. Come check them out before a game!!

    Jumbo Wings and The Bookmaker

Came here on a Saturday night. Plenty of parking in the back back since the good parking spots get taken quickly. It's a nice sports bar with plenty of TVs, AC'ed and not too dark inside. They also got a shuffleboard which was a lot of fun for my first time playing. I was told I got a nice touch. Wasn't super hungry so I just got the jumbo wings with Buffalo sauce. I tried the bookmaker which was very tasty. The jumbo wings was good, wish it was a bit more crispier, will have to mention that when I go back. The bar is not too loud and you can have a convo with someone without yelling. Clean and bartenders are tentative. Will be back if I am around the neighborhood and I want to catch some football games.

Horrible venue and don't even think about parking there for MetLife events. I called restaurant up inquiring about refund for parking tickets TWO DAYS before event occurred and was told to email Doug Palsi the day AFTER for a refund if I did not use the spots. I was not told to email a certain account for full refund, like their website says, which would have been helpful. Emailed the day after event, as suggested, and was told they don't refund tickets, even though I did everything to try to release them well before the event. No response on further inquiries over the issue either. Avoid. I'd give zero stars if I could. Happy to retract this if Redd's make good on treating their customers better and fairly. I know you offered free parking for next time, but sadly that's not ideal.

Finally got to check this place out the other day with another couple and my husband. We only had…read moreto wait 10 mins for table without a reservation which was nice. The service I found to be on the slower side especially when it came waiting for water and drinks. The ambiance is absolutely beautiful and I love their sake menu- it has so many choices!!! The food menu has a lot to offer. I do however feel like they do whatever they can to potentially upcharge the guest. For example, I honestly do not know any hibachi place that does not offer soup or give you a choice of noodles or fried rice- this place offers steamed white rice for the meal knowing almost everyone is going to pay for upgrade. All of us chose to upgrade, I wound up getting the vegetable fried rice, when my husband and two other friends got the chicken fried rice. There was another family next to us that also upgraded to chicken fried rice (about 3 of them). This place used ONE small chicken breast chopped it up into little pieces for 6 people which I thought was absolutely insane. Even with all this going on- I would be a liar if I said the food wasn't outstanding because it absolutely was- it was easily one of the best hibachi meals I have had in a long time- the quality of the steak was nothing but perfection- the rice and shrimp were mouthwatering good- and the salad was fantastic. I wish my scallops had a little more flavor but I was happy with my combo meal overall. We even ordered the Spicy Tuna Crispy rice app and it was one of the best I have ever had. My meal was also supposed to come with ice cream and they never asked me if I wanted it or brought anything out to me so that was disappointing. The show was ok- typical fried rice heart beating with onion volcano. No shrimp getting tossed into the air to catch or sake squirting though. In my opinion- food outstanding 5 star worthy, but it also needs a lot of work done before this place gets a higher rating.

I'll start by saying the restaurant itself is beautiful. The ambiance is inviting, the restrooms…read moreare clean, and the staff are friendly at first impression, but BEWARE... vultures with a smile. However, my experience left me with some concerns--particularly around pricing and communication. We were a party of one adult and one child, and an automatic 18% gratuity was applied. This caught me off guard, as I typically see that for larger parties. I didn't initially notice it and ended up tipping on top of it, which added to the overall frustration. The bigger issue came with the meal itself. My mini ordered hibachi with scallops from the children's menu, but I was later charged $60 for the dish. When I asked for clarification, I was informed that scallops are not included on the children's menu and that the charge reflected an adult entrée. Unfortunately, this was not communicated at the time of ordering, which would have been helpful in making an informed decision. Olivia also charged me for a "fountain drink" I didn't order. I only ordered a sparkling water and pineapple juice for my child. There were also a few smaller service inconsistencies--for example, I requested sparkling water but was initially served still water before it was corrected. While the staff remained polite, I would have appreciated more transparency and attentiveness throughout the experience. Overall, while the restaurant is aesthetically pleasing, I recommend asking detailed questions about menu items and pricing before ordering to avoid any surprises. For me, the experience did not align with the value received. Olivia pumped me for sure but NEVER AGAIN! I CAUTION ANYONE who wants to patronize this establishment. Extremely high prices for less than mediocre hibachi!

When I told my mom where we were going her reaction- "omg that place is still around?!? It use to be excellent back in the day!" Well I am happy to report this place is just as good today as it was during my mother's heyday. I decided to get a few oysters and clams to start off with and everything was just so fresh. As an entree the Seafood in a spicy red sauce was easily one of the best I have had in a very long time. There was a generous amount of seafood within the dish, the sauce I swear I could just drink it out of a cup and the pasta was cooked perfectly. My husband got the bbq ribs which I didn't try but you could see how they just slid right off the bone and he couldn't stop talking about how good they were. We ended our meal with some strong espresso. I enjoyed how it is a very casual atmosphere with a nice bar area that had a few TVs to watch some sports games. No need to dress to impress. The service was a little bit on the slower side but the waitress was very nice. The man who brought out my oysters, I asked him which were the east coast and which where in the west coast oysters, along with asking him where in the west coast my oysters were from and he couldn't tell me. I just think a place should just know these things is they are selling them. Nonetheless we still really enjoyed ourselves and can't wait to return.

The Jersey Shore restaurants will always have an advantage when it comes to seafood because of location. North Jersey offers a diverse, high-quality seafood scene, ranging from upscale Mediterranean-style fish markets to casual, beloved neighborhood spots. Situated less than 2.5 miles from MetLife Stadium, Biggie's has been a neighborhood institution located off of Route 17 South in Carlstadt and is best known for its clams-on-the-half-shell and wide selection of beers on tap. My partner, our friends, and I have been to this family-owned establishment numerous times and decided to have dinner last night. The reservation was easily made via OpenTable. Upon entering this casual vibe, we were greeted by the host. There is a lively sports bar side full of TVs and a dining room side, where we got a booth immediately by the window. Their menu has a wide array of options, rivaled only by the countless photographs and mementos that fill nearly every inch of wall space. There are many sandwiches, a half-dozen salads, thin-crust pizzas, and a substantial range of pastas. For starters, we decided on two dozen East Coast oysters on a half shell and Steamed Mussels with white wine butter broth. A side of Italian bread was brought for dipping. As a main meal, we opted for the Turkey Chili, Baby Back Ribs, Fried Calamari, Caesar salad, and Fries. The food was excellent and delicious, using the freshest ingredients. The portions were healthy. The staff went out of their way to make one feel welcome, creating a friendly and comfortable atmosphere. Our server was Hadiyah. The price was reasonable. The Garden State's seafood scene is a testament to the state's rich maritime heritage, offering something for every palate, whether one's a regular or a first-timer. This is why people keep coming back week after week.
