Being that Hasbro is an arcade, you would assume it only offered fried foods and easy food for kids, but their menu is a pleasant surprise! We ordered the Chicken parm sliders and the NJ Smashburger. Both were sooo good. The chicken parm sliders had a king's Hawaiian bun and vodka sauce -- such a game changer. Sat at the bar on a Saturday afternoon, busy with parties but this area was quiet. This is a really fun place both kids and adults. Located in 2nd floor of Court A in AD, the huge arcade area had variety of games that we all know like coin machines, ball drops, racing cars/motorcycles, air hockey, basketball, water shooting, zombie games, ski ball and so much more. Token are paid via card. The cost is decent, $50 comes with 300 tokens that is good enough to play 20-25 games. They have a huge claw machine game section with over 6 rows of different types of dolls and toys. There are couple of giant ones. Claw machines have very low win rate. It is really a matter of luck. Rewards token won from games can be used for buying toys and several other items in the redemption desk. They have a big dining area too. They integrated several Hasbro's popular games in the design, including a vault inspired by Monopoly. I had dined here few times but the food is average. They also have a small drinks booth by the ticket redemption counter. But overall I like to visit here more for the arcade rather than the food. I bought $100 tokens to get the maximum bonus and have been using the 850 tokens over several visits as we go to AD often. read more

This is a nice, clean arcade located inside the American Dream Mall. The games are well maintained and kept in good condition. There are a wide variety of games including your old classics like skee ball and a variety of other midway style games and video games, as well as a large selection of claw machines. As with most arcades, some of the games give very few tickets for how much you pay, while some of the games give a lot. But it's all for fun, right? The tickets go right to your card. There are a wide selection of prizes. There are deals each day including half off games on Tuesdays. Overall the arcade is a very nice place to take the kids on cold, winter days. I just want to start off by saying, this is not Round 1. And for as long as I've been a patron of American Dream, I've always known the establishment to carry the best of the best brands in the mall. What other American mall has an indoor snow resort? None! I'm a huge arcade fan, in general, and would easily spend $200-300 per visit at an arcade whether with friends, family, my boyfriend, or alone, that's top tier, like a Round 1. Have done so before, will do so again, that's just how I am. I've driven over an hour just to play at a Round 1. When I recommend arcades, I recommend quality. But I don't and didn't see myself having that same quality here. I'm at the mall every week, snowboarding, and I've never been drawn to this arcade like that. Recently, I won a giveaway that had a free Game Card for the Game Room inside, so my man and I decided to check it out. LOCATION Parking deck A. Level 2. Across from Big Snow, towards the back. CASH PRICE - $10 = 40 coins (25¢ per coin) - $20 = 85 coins (24¢ per coin) - $35 = 175 coins (20¢ per coin) - $50 = 300 coins (17¢ per coin) - $75 = 550 coins (14¢ per coin) - $100 = 850 coins (12¢ per coin) GAME PRICES Most games are about 7-12 coins each, per play. Which would approximately be about $0.82 to $1.41 per play. GAMES It's not to say this place doesn't have games, because it does, but I just don't think the space is being utilized well. It's fun for maybe 5-10 minutes, and more for children than an overall inclusive experience. I recently saw there was a Yelp event here, I can't imagine it being any fun. With other arcades, any age can have a blast, and yes, while there is a bar, it's still not the quality of even Dave & Buster's. It just falls short of wonder or a wow factor, in my opinion. There's a lot of dead zones and empty spaces. Some of the classic games that you can find just about anywhere. No rhythm games, some carnival games, which to me, felt out of place. I understand the Game Room is sponsored by Hasbro, but I really think they could have made this place a whole lot more fun than what it actually is. I don't see myself wanting to come back and spend money on it. There are a quite few claw machines! Some of the prizes are meh, especially for 7-9 coins per play. The Ramen-san caught my eyes and I knew I was going to get them for my boyfriend and I. It wasn't too hard to do, for myself, as I'm pretty decent at winning at the claw machines. Again, I've been going to arcades and winning for a long time, so you can't judge my wins against yours. Besides that, I don't really see anyone come out with winning anything, and I won two Ramen-sans for my boyfriend and I. The amount of tickets we accumulated, together, on one card, was just 49. I have over thousands of tickets for Round 1. OVERALL I wouldn't go crazy here. I had some fun. it was a good date, but it was an average experience for an arcade. I wouldn't necessarily come back to spend a pretty dime. I most certainly wouldn't recommend the photo booth within this establishment. The one right next to Big Snow, Life Four Cuts, is way better and you get more bang for your buck. A large arcade on the second floor in the American Dream Mall, Court A, level 2 section of the mall beside the food court and Lady M, the theme is by Hasbro, and while there are a few games that tie to the theme (Monopoly, Hungry Hungry Hippo, and other board games, etc.), a majority of the arcade is similar games to what you'd find in any Dave & Busters or Chuck-E-Cheese's, just maybe a bit larger and not really for serious arcade enthusiasts. The games cost between 6-20 "points" each play, and you can buy a card (for $3 plus the fill cost); $20 would be equal to 85 points, so around 4-16 plays depending on the game for that much. Skeeball was 9 points, as a reference (you won a ticket for every 1k in skeeball points). Refill card machines often had lines to wait, which was problematic if you didn't already have a card. They didn't have many helpers running around, so when a game has issues (like skeeball didn't want to give us balls), there was no one to get a refund or points back from. The card tracks "tickets" won and you can go to the area where they have the ticket prizes - $30 spent on cards each had the kids get around 180-220 points, so equivalent to 2-3 small prizes worth maybe a dollar at most. Not worth it. The whole exchange section was wide open; no idea how they prevent theft of smaller or larger items walking out of that area as people were just grabbing things and there were no pathways/walls/gating to prevent people from just leaving. Standard games and a few from Asia (anime-heavy) plus the normal arcade games to the side. Overall noisy and a rip off, though it does entertain the kids for a time. Pretty much the same with most entertainment in the mall - overly expensive and you can do it better elsewhere. They are supposed to have better food than a D&B, maybe they'll come up with an hourly play or similar card that would be more reasonable for play. read more

I took my friend to The Game Room as part of her birthday celebration, and I was really excited to check out some of the themed arcade games, especially since I'm a big fan of Hasbro. It wasn't too busy for a Monday afternoon, so we had easy access to the games, which was nice. Unfortunately, I found the prices to be pretty unreasonable. The games are extremely short-lived, and that's if they were even working--several weren't. You can load up a game card, but if you want to play more than a couple of games, be prepared to spend quite a bit. Overall, I'm glad we went, but the lack of availability for some of the games I wanted to try and the high cost didn't make it feel worth it. I kinda wish the arcade and the restaurant had two different places to leave reviews about them because I have completely different feelings about both of them. So first I'll start off with the main reason why people come here, The Games. On Mondays here they have a deal where you can get 1 hour worth of free play for only $15, which is a steal. My friend wound up taking advantage of that deal. The only problem with those cards is that you need to wait 45 seconds between plays at a machine to reuse again. I personally paid $50 for my ticket which left me 300 points and I did not need to wait any time between play. The games here are unique and fun, and the claw machines are even winable. However while we were there all the games started having technical issues and we had to stop playing for awhile. It was fine for me since I didn't pay for just the hour, but my friend did and it least 20 mins went to waste. At the restaurant we had a fantastic server but the food left a little to be desired. My friend and I got some food to share. I returned our beef skewers because they tasted terrible. The menu cocktails were a little too sweet for my liking. The corn dip was amazing along with the chicken fingers. All and all it was a fun outing but I expected a little more out of the place. read more

In a lifetime of going to arcades, this was quite possibly the worst one. First off, super expensive. A $38 card lasted 15 minutes, which is saying something because most games were broken. Luckily, a few of them also ate our money - the screen got stuck on "processing," the game never started, but it took the points off the card. The people at the counter I assume are used to this because they didn't act surprised when I told them and they put credits on my card.
