Great place to visit with the family. Plenty of game options for all interests. They have really good specials each weekday so that you can save some money! The prize selection section is really good with different options for all ages. Definitely recommend this place to keep everyone entertained.

Lots arcade games. Monet loaded into card for credits and tap for games. Tickets will automatically goes into the card so make sure you bring it every time.

Photo booth, not worth it, go to Life Four Cuts instead

I just want to start off by saying, this is not Round 1. And for as long as I've been a patron of American Dream, I've always known the establishment to carry the best of the best brands in the mall. What other American mall has an indoor snow resort? None! I'm a huge arcade fan, in general, and would easily spend $200-300 per visit at an arcade whether with friends, family, my boyfriend, or alone, that's top tier, like a Round 1. Have done so before, will do so again, that's just how I am. I've driven over an hour just to play at a Round 1. When I recommend arcades, I recommend quality. But I don't and didn't see myself having that same quality here. I'm at the mall every week, snowboarding, and I've never been drawn to this arcade like that. Recently, I won a giveaway that had a free Game Card for the Game Room inside, so my man and I decided to check it out. LOCATION Parking deck A. Level 2. Across from Big Snow, towards the back. CASH PRICE - $10 = 40 coins (25¢ per coin) - $20 = 85 coins (24¢ per coin) - $35 = 175 coins (20¢ per coin) - $50 = 300 coins (17¢ per coin) - $75 = 550 coins (14¢ per coin) - $100 = 850 coins (12¢ per coin) GAME PRICES Most games are about 7-12 coins each, per play. Which would approximately be about $0.82 to $1.41 per play. GAMES It's not to say this place doesn't have games, because it does, but I just don't think the space is being utilized well. It's fun for maybe 5-10 minutes, and more for children than an overall inclusive experience. I recently saw there was a Yelp event here, I can't imagine it being any fun. With other arcades, any age can have a blast, and yes, while there is a bar, it's still not the quality of even Dave & Buster's. It just falls short of wonder or a wow factor, in my opinion. There's a lot of dead zones and empty spaces. Some of the classic games that you can find just about anywhere. No rhythm games, some carnival games, which to me, felt out of place. I understand the Game Room is sponsored by Hasbro, but I really think they could have made this place a whole lot more fun than what it actually is. I don't see myself wanting to come back and spend money on it. There are a quite few claw machines! Some of the prizes are meh, especially for 7-9 coins per play. The Ramen-san caught my eyes and I knew I was going to get them for my boyfriend and I. It wasn't too hard to do, for myself, as I'm pretty decent at winning at the claw machines. Again, I've been going to arcades and winning for a long time, so you can't judge my wins against yours. Besides that, I don't really see anyone come out with winning anything, and I won two Ramen-sans for my boyfriend and I. The amount of tickets we accumulated, together, on one card, was just 49. I have over thousands of tickets for Round 1. OVERALL I wouldn't go crazy here. I had some fun. it was a good date, but it was an average experience for an arcade. I wouldn't necessarily come back to spend a pretty dime. I most certainly wouldn't recommend the photo booth within this establishment. The one right next to Big Snow, Life Four Cuts, is way better and you get more bang for your buck. Note: I didn't review the service or food because they will be their own reviews for another day.

Located in the American Dream Mall overlooking stage area. Expensive video games and entertainment. Expensive to use. Buy cards that you recharge. This masks the cost per game. Ice cream and food inside .

A large arcade on the second floor in the American Dream Mall, Court A, level 2 section of the mall beside the food court and Lady M, the theme is by Hasbro, and while there are a few games that tie to the theme (Monopoly, Hungry Hungry Hippo, and other board games, etc.), a majority of the arcade is similar games to what you'd find in any Dave & Busters or Chuck-E-Cheese's, just maybe a bit larger and not really for serious arcade enthusiasts. The games cost between 6-20 "points" each play, and you can buy a card (for $3 plus the fill cost); $20 would be equal to 85 points, so around 4-16 plays depending on the game for that much. Skeeball was 9 points, as a reference (you won a ticket for every 1k in skeeball points). Refill card machines often had lines to wait, which was problematic if you didn't already have a card. They didn't have many helpers running around, so when a game has issues (like skeeball didn't want to give us balls), there was no one to get a refund or points back from. The card tracks "tickets" won and you can go to the area where they have the ticket prizes - $30 spent on cards each had the kids get around 180-220 points, so equivalent to 2-3 small prizes worth maybe a dollar at most. Not worth it. The whole exchange section was wide open; no idea how they prevent theft of smaller or larger items walking out of that area as people were just grabbing things and there were no pathways/walls/gating to prevent people from just leaving. Standard games and a few from Asia (anime-heavy) plus the normal arcade games to the side. Overall noisy and a rip off, though it does entertain the kids for a time. Pretty much the same with most entertainment in the mall - overly expensive and you can do it better elsewhere. They are supposed to have better food than a D&B, maybe they'll come up with an hourly play or similar card that would be more reasonable for play.

Good arcade. Prices are a bit high compared to Dave and Busters but unique selection of massive Hasbro games.

I took my friend to The Game Room as part of her birthday celebration, and I was really excited to check out some of the themed arcade games, especially since I'm a big fan of Hasbro. It wasn't too busy for a Monday afternoon, so we had easy access to the games, which was nice. Unfortunately, I found the prices to be pretty unreasonable. The games are extremely short-lived, and that's if they were even working--several weren't. You can load up a game card, but if you want to play more than a couple of games, be prepared to spend quite a bit. Overall, I'm glad we went, but the lack of availability for some of the games I wanted to try and the high cost didn't make it feel worth it. I wouldn't recommend this place unless you're okay with dropping a lot of cash for a short experience.

Food was decent but no frills. Pizza was better than expected. Service okay. Definitely doable for a restaurant inside an arcade.

This is one hell of an establishment I came here for Yelp lead event, and I had the time of my life here definitely will be coming back. The game room is a great experience for people of all ages and all preferences when it comes to their gaming, the waitress Ashley I believe her name was treated us so well She made our day so delightful with her attention to detail care and charisma if you guys ever have the pleasure of going here please ask for her and she will take care of you once again I'm not sure if I got her name right but she is a tan skinned girl with Curly hair. Trust me you will not regret it. Take care of her. She will take care of you.

I was invited to a Yelp Elite event by a friend of mine and thought it would be fun to experience this restaurant/arcade... and it was! We were given a ticket for one free drink and a preloaded card to play some games in the arcade section. There were also a few menu items that servers were offering to guests. Here are some of my thoughts: * Music/ great variety of top forty tunes *Great for: Families, low key date nights *Staff: super friendly and polite *Decor: board game theme in a tasteful way, adult with a little bit of whim *Atmosphere: lively, sports bar/barcade feel, interactive (board game wall and trivia cards at each table) *Food/drink: I didn't get to try all items offered but from I had... - Nashville sliders: super delicious, crispy chicken sandwich (perfect amount of crunch), the hot sauce had a nice spicy kick, the slaw was fresh and added nice texture and coolness - Cheeseburger sliders: standard but good - Chicken wings: bare, dry, not really seasoned, no dipping sauce offered - Science and Nature drink: made with Bombay, melon liqueur, tonic, and garnished with cucumber and rosemary; mine was definitely made with Tanqueray though. It tasted kinda bland. I feel it needed to be a bit sweeter or maybe a dash a lime... idk but it was missing something All in all, I wouldn't mind returning to try some other menu items and it doesn't hurt to play a game or five if you're in a playful mood.

Well, now. Finding truly authentic Venezuelan cuisine wasn't on my 2026 bingo card (as the cool…read morekids say), but I'm definitely stamping this square. Dios mio, what a meal! There was not a bad bite to be had. We might've cut the roofs of our mouths with the crisped-to-perfection Patacón, but I don't care--I think all sandwiches should be encased in fried plantain instead of bread. And the succulent pernil filling? Dios mio otra vez! Though, tbf, when is pernil ever a bad choice? Then there was the stuffed-to-the-brim Cachapa filled with carne mechada and Venezuelan cheese. It was enormous. Like, Jesus pulling from the neverending fish basket enormous. It never ended. We had to take it home. But before we did, I practically ate all of the arepa, which was the sweetest, bursting-with-corn-flavor arepa I've ever had outside of South America. It was so good, I practically cried with every bite. Tears of corny joy, mind you. We got an entree of grilled fish (Filete de Pescado a la Plancha), which came with a complimentary side--in our case, arroz amarillo cuz I gotta have my grains. The fish was perfectly crispy on the outside, meltingly tender on the inside. As with everything else, it was also way bigger than it had any right to be. Finally, we ended with what we THOUGHT would be a small item--the Arepa Arcoiris Llanero--but we were mistaken. It was stuffed so full of fresh avocado, shredded chicken, and various veggies that it had to be further encased in a paper wrapper for fear of the arepa wrap giving up on its job. We didn't make it more than a few bites before having to regretfully pack it home, but those few bites were chef's kiss. Venezuela has long been on my bucket list (who doesn't want to see Mount Roraima or Angel Falls?), but until I can get there, I'll be more than happy to "settle" for coming to this beautifully modern paradise of culinary delights. Throw in the huge portions and unbelievably low prices, and it's kind of a no-brainer to make the trip.

I was looking for a classy, yet fun, restaurant for a celebratory dinner when I discovered…read moreMaracaibo. I could tell from the photos that the vibe was lighthearted and trendy, and the reviews of their food were also excellent, so it was the perfect choice. We pulled up in our ride share and noticed that valet parking was available, which was helpful to know for the future. We ascended the several steps up to the lobby, where we checked in and were then escorted to one of their two dining rooms. We were greeted by our nice server and then I went to look for the restroom, only to discover that there was a single bathroom for all diners. I found that odd, particularly because, though the restaurant was not super crowded on that evening, I know that it could be busy on weekends. Anyway, after waiting around five minutes, I was able to get inside and then rush back to my dining companion. We both reviewed the drink menus, intrigued by the fruity, tropical concoctions on offer. I settled on the Ex Keeps Calling, which was made of Don Julio Tequila, passion fruit, cinnamon, Cointreau, lime, Aperol, and mint. The orange-colored drink arrived in a rocks glass on a large wooden board that also included an antique telephone that was ringing. It was such a playful presentation! The cocktail resembled a passion fruit margarita, but had slight bitter notes from the Aperol and sweetness from the cinnamon. I could not detect the mint, but the cinnamon really made the drink memorable, in my opinion. My partner ordered the Guarapita, which included Patron Reposado, guava, pineapple, lime, and thyme, and was served in a large rectangular glass that looked like a purse and even had a leather strap attached to it. The drink was decent, but tasted like cotton candy, so it was a bit too sweet. From a food perspective, we were very intrigued by many items on the menu and decided to start by sharing the Trio De Cesticas De Platano Rellenas, a set of three plantain cups with protein stuffing. The menu said that we had our choice of fillings between beef, pork, and chicken, so we had assumed that we would receive one of each. However, the trio only accommodated one variety. We choose the beef and were thrilled with how juicy it was. The meat was tender, and the marinade was juicy and savory. The plantain cup, however, was a bit dry and was potentially premade. For my entree, I selected the Pechuga de Pollo, which was always a favorite dish of mine. The chicken breast was pounded into a massive, thin filet that was juicy and well-marinated. That was a contrast to my companion's Lomo Salteado, a dish of stir-fried beef with onions, tomatoes, and spices that included pretty dry and chewy meat. The dish also had a few large potato slices that looked like they had been fried, but tasted baked. Those could have used a bit more flavor. Both dishes came with our choice of side dish. I went with the mixed vegetables, and he went with the yellow rice, both of which were good but needed more pizazz. Overall, we loved the tropical rainforest atmosphere, childlike cocktail presentations, and tasty food. We just felt that the dishes could have used some additional seasoning. However, we would gladly return.

Our server eventually got busy with other tables, but overall everything still flowed well. The wings were HUGE -- the sticky wings were my favorite, even more than the Hennessy wings. I also ordered the Smokehouse Special, though they were out of the sausage that day. Our drinks were Long Island Iced Tea Premier, and let me tell you -- they were Texas‑size and definitely left us happy. Worth every sip. One thing to be mindful of: my partner is allergic to mustard, and I didn't realize the pulled pork plate comes with two different sauces -- one side barbecue and the other honey mustard. So anyone with allergies should double‑check the sauces on the meats to avoid any issues. This place is definitely a must‑try at least once, just like I did -- and I'll be returning. I travel from place to place trying different spots, and this one stands out. It's unlike anything I've found in Virginia.
