Upon putting our names down, we had gotten notified ~15 mins that our table was ready - despite being told it could take up to 35 mins. There's a lot of different types of seating - booths, high chairs, and bar seating. There's also many appetizer and shared dish options if you just want to have a light happy hour - but there's salads, burgers, sandwiches, pastas, and more to munch on. The pizza was good, cooked good nice and crispy tastes good as well. 7/10 Got the boneless wings with the Korean chili garlic sauce and they were out of this world good. Pretty cool bar/restaurant in the food area of the Mall. In the back of the restaurant there are huge windows looking into Big Snow which is the indoor ski area. I don't drink much but they are know for their yard beers and they have kegs and all kinds of beer. There's a bar of course as well as seating. Booths and tables. I was here for the food and it was worth its. Delicious. Service was good too. Our server took our order though you could have used the tablet at the table as well. This place was packed on a Saturday afternoon, so I imagine it's even more crowded at dinner/during a big sporting event. We didn't have to wait to be seated because they do have a ton of tables, ranging from the "en plein air" seating overlooking the mall to the windows overlooking the skiing. Despite the crowds, we had great service. We started with the Bavarian pretzel which was a little expensive but very crunchy on the outside and soft inside with tasty beer cheese and tangy mustard sauces. I wanted to balance out the calorie count with something on their "under 700 calories" menu (which was pretty small). I got the steak bowl, and the steak was cooked nicely, but I think they overdid it with the red pepper flakes, making it spicier than I expected. The waiter was good with bringing more water. He got the filet mignon which comes with designated sides but he was able to switch out vegetables to his liking. It was cooked perfectly. Music was loud so that it was a little hard to hear other people at your table. Tables were very close together so just had to be aware of where to put my bag as to not be in the way. Overall, ambiance was nice, food was nice but more on the expensive side for casual eating, but it was a popular location. After visiting an expo at MetLife Stadium midweek, my family retreated to American Dream Mall in search of dinner. One of the only places that remained open past 8pm was Yard House - and while the food was decent, the time and money spent was not worth it at all. With a large menu you'll find something for everyone. Burgers to sushi to Szechuan noodles, Yard House has elevated diner fare with classic rock blaring across the dimly lit restaurant for all to hear. You have a view of the ski mountain from this restaurant, which is pretty cool! Unfortunately, when we dined in the service was atrocious. It took what felt like forever to receive drinks, have our order taken, and once our order was actually placed it took ~2 hours to receive our food. A member of the staff did come out to apologize, but after a long day of work and a long two hours at an expo, what we thought was going to be a quick meal turned into a 3 hour dining experience - so we were not happy, nor were we even hungry for the food at that point. The few bites we did eat were edible, but nothing spectacular. The bill for our food was astronomical for what it was, so with that in mind I don't think I will ever return unless I truly had to. Went to Yard house for the first time for my sons bday. Ive heard so many good things i was excited to try!! This place is a beer drinkers paradise. Over 200 beers on tap!! The menu is full of variety! I had the Lobster and shrimp garlic noodles and i was a delicious dish!!! Nice chucks of fresh lobster and tons of shrimp. I literally devoured it!!! We also had the cheeseburger sliders as an appetizer and they came with fries. Really delicious and a huge portion. My son had the pizza which he said was good. Wasn't anything special but watching the snowboard/ski slope was unique. I had the double jack burger with fries and it did not disappoint and the server was good at his job and didn't over check on the table and I always had a full beer and water. Walked in and only had to wait about 10 mins which was surprising due to everyone having the same idea to grab food before the show. I had such a wonderful time dining at Yard House this past weekend. With the World Cup being in the area, it brought along with it the excitement of the crowds. Although the restaurant was packed, the workers handled the conditions well. After checking in with the hostess, we were told that there would be a thirty-minute wait, but we were pleasantly surprised that it was more like fifteen minutes, which was nice. One thing I deeply appreciated was that our greeter asked my husband and me if we were there to watch the game, and when we said no, she smiled and brought us to a table in the back of the restaurant, where there was less noise and it was more comfortable. We loved that where we were seated felt like we were dining at a ski lodge. The view from our table had a large window overlooking the indoor ski slopes at Big Snow- this made the dining experience extra special. Our waiter Eddie was awesome! He was friendly, very knowledgeable about the menu, and helped us decide on what to order. Upon his recommendations, we ordered the Firecracker Shrimp appetizer to share--which was so good! It was our favorite food item of the night. We would order it again. For entrees, we ordered the Spicy Jambalaya and Orange Chicken. The food came out quickly, was the perfect temperature, and was delicious. We appreciated our server's attentiveness, and he even gave us instructions on how to reheat the food for later. We also enjoyed their flavored lemonades. The Strawberry lemonade was good but the Dragonfruit hit differently- so definitely try that one. The food at Yard House was delicious. For starters we got the traditional wings and the firecracker shrimp. 10 wings were in a serving as well as 10 shrimp. For the wings you can choose two flavors so we got buffalo and whiskey pepper. The whiskey pepper was so good I wish we chose only that flavor. For main dish I got the bacon burger. Whatever sauce that came on the burger was good, and it was cooked the way I asked for it. The service was really good especially given how crowded it was on a Sunday when the football game was playing. The margaritas were also good, not too strong and not overly sour. read more

I absolutely love this place. It is my go to and even an excuse to visit American Dream Mall. It is conveniently located near an entrance. It is on the third floor. You can access it by entering the A parking lot and taking the escalator up. It is right next to the escalator exit on 3rd floor. The place is huge and has astonishing views of the indoor snowboarding spot which is located under on the second floor. It is truly really inexpensive and has great tasting beer and cocktails. Happy hour is until 6PM daily. They offer a variety of food selection at half off which basically you can get skier sand fries for less than $9 and they are delicious. The staff is very friendly and most of the time you are seated right away. Pro tip: ensure that no events are happening because if they are inside or nearby then you will be best of getting a reservation. read more

Nothing to write home about - the best part of the evening was the service. Our waitress was helpful, attentive and sang happy birthday for one of our guests, and he got a cake/brownie. The food felt like standard pub food, with each screen displaying a different sport. They have multiple beers on tap, and a pretty extensive cocktail selection as well. The best was probably the spinach dip. Inside was a bit loud, and it was hard to hear conversations. The floor was also sticky and the bathrooms weren't as clean. Been here several times now and was actually surprised that I haven't made a review! ( I will update next time I'm in and add photos!) Great place if you are interested in a beer and some great food. Their menu is EXTENSIVE and I often times struggle to decide what I want to order off their menu. They have the typically "bar food" like flatbreads, nachos, and wings but also have Asian and Latin inspired dishes. This is one of my favorite things about Yard House, the large variety of options - but also always makes it so complicated to order lol As we were waiting to place our food order, the food coming out to the tables around us smelled soooo good and made my decision that much harder. This last visit my husband and I shared the queso dip and chose to add meat. This portion was HUGE and came with both chips and flour tacos. We also wanted to also try the Asian garlic noodles, which were to die for! For my entree, I went for birria tacos and my husband had the truffle burger. We both loved our meals and my husband got an IPA and I the strawberry mule. I've never had an issue with service, but also every time we've come by, we had to put our name on a waitlist. This is to be expected as this Yard House is located in the American Dream mall and there are often events that are ongoing. This day we visited there was a big game on, which accounted for the longer wait time. FYI- you have to pay for parking for all stores and restaurants located in American Dream. read more

My family and I visited Yard House around 3PM for Happy Hour before walking around the American Dream Mall. Since it was a Wednesday they weren't too busy and we were seated right away. I've never been on a weekend but I can imagine they can get pretty packed. Our waitress was training someone so it was like we were being served by two people which was nice. Service was prompt and friendly. Happy Hour includes drink and appetizer specials. Yard House has a huge selection of beers so they definitely have something for everyone. For food we decided to get the poke nachos, calamari, brussel sprouts, spinach dip, cheese curds, and truffle mushroom pizza. Everything was solid but the pizza was a crowd favorite. The crust was solid and the truffle added a welcome hit of umami to the pizza. I've enjoyed my visits to other Yard House locations and the American Dream location is no different. As my first time here, Yard House was so chill! It is located at the American Dream Mall is next to the MetLife Stadium, so great view! The food, drinks, and service was great! The Baja and Vampire Tacos were delicious! I just was not a fan of the rice and beans. The lemon pepper dry rub wings with bleu cheese was just, WOW! The Oreo dessert was delicious! This menu has so many food and drink options that honestly it was hard to chose from lol. But of course, everyone has their preference. When I went, I did see that people were ordering beer in the half yard glasses! Oh my goodness, yum! That will be my next challenge! I have visited this chain many times in different locations. I have always been pleased with the rather large selection of dishes, drinks and their quality. The waiters are always attentive and friendly. It is also important that the prices here are reasonable and without paying too much you can make a fairly large amount of dishes.
